Kingomat:just don't tell people around that you're leaving. Then keep an untouchable money for flight ticket home, just in case it didn't work out. Have an exit plan just in case. That country no be am. It's only for fun and for the rich. |
No country is cheap to travel to. That is why there are immigration laws and that's also why people never finish for this we naija ![]() |

21cents:the Iran situation can be likened to a girl walking on a dangerous street, but have 2 tough brothers at home. |
bularuz:Mediocre? Oh man. My people are ignorant. Please will you say Russian tech is mediocre? Iran is an extension of Russian military tech. Yes, US is stronger than Iran, its undisputed but other factors come into play in this situation. The question is who is with who? China and Russia are a common match for USA. |
Please bro we warned you before you leave. Don't go!!
Find another country or develop yourself here first before leaving. |
Direct comparison like this is stupid. That's why countries have allies... Iran may be underestimated now but believe me, there are hidden backers that would bare their fangs when the chips are down. Do you think it's every ally who stands with USA now that would still support the country in the long run? The USA foreign policy is too aggressive, some countries are asking themselves, after Iran who is next? This is one ugly situation that we don't want to happen. The world is bleeped up as it is. I just hope Africans borrow sense and not align with neither side. Africa can position themselves to gain more from this conflict if they remain neutral |
I wonder why some people will decide to leave frying pan to fire. Op why did you not do research on Dubai before applying for visa. Dubai for the person without heavy certification and education is equals to slavery. Better use that money and forge for your future here in Nigeria. |
izzou:iseee!! |
Let me give you some advice as a Manager myself. That person that was laid off might have been laid off because the whole office ganged up against him. He talks to you anyhow now, have it ever occurred to you that it might be the same attitude that brought them at loggerheads with the former manager. With time the same treatment could be given to you. To solve part of your problem. Delegate responsibilities. Call a staff meeting and let them know that if they have any personal recommendations, it should be brought to you in private, and only listen but don't fully react to what they have to say immediately, dismiss and tell the person you will get back to him concerning the issue. If he continues talking anyhow to you call him privately and tell him you don't appreciate that. But still maintain an open relationship with everyone. You never know who is going to stab your back or who is going to be your savior one day. Be very careful of office politics it's a murky water! |
chuka5000:please how do I that |
weyreypey:here |
TheGiftedOne:Gazzuzz already gave his opinion. He said he is not with the car and can't correctly diagnose it |
Good morning and compliments of the season. I recently bought a Peugeot 206 used. The AC wasn't filled when I bought it but I remember the ac button was in on position. The engine was not responsive to throttling very well and my mechanic said I need to change nozzles, fuel pump and plugs. I did it. There was a slight improvement Then yesterday I filled my ac with 2 cans of gas. That was when I noticed that when I turned on the Ac the car will start jerking a bit, stop receiving power from throttling and then shut off even when I am driving and then I will have to restart it again to move (exactly what it was doing when I bought it) . Also it reduced the power of the engine when on. But once i off the ac, the car works fine What could be the issue and how can I solve it? |
Money and wealth knows no divide. Don't be poor and still be dying for the wealthy. |
How old are op. It's a normal phenomenon during harmattan. Sometimes you will even get a serious shock when you wake up and touch an aluminum or metal object. Lol seriously. The reason is this. Your body generates charges (I can't remember but I think it's negative charge) and the surface you're interacting with has its own charges (positive) and when both come in contact then there is electrical conductivity. The best way to negate it is before you step off your bed, try to touch your wall or feet first on the ground (it's called 'earthing') |
I'm almost in this same kind of situation. Here to get advice from the elders too ![]() |
DukeNija:thanks bro. I appreciate it |
By coming to a public forum to ask this question, you're not a friend. When you are a friend you shouldn't mind calling him out for a friendly meet-up one evening and baring your mind about the matter with him without caring whether his emotions are hurt or not. This tips on how to talk to him is not the main reason you're posting this thing here. Pull it down and engage your friend in discussion. At the end whatever decision he takes, you should respect. As someone pointed out, you do love his family more than him neither are you the person managing his finances for him. And another point I would like to clarify for you is this, in this life NEVER assume especially when it involves a separ family unit. The wife hasn't come out specifically to tell you that you are to talk to her husband about 'house' it might be something else. |
I am about to purchase a car. What documents do I need to request from the previous owner? How do we do change of ownership? |
Epphy:thank brother. I think I can fit into the car. I got a tokumbo, never used in Naija at 700k. Though I am stalling, I think it's too costly. I heard the fuel economy is so efficient too. |
Obinnau:nobody is answering me. |
Big brothers. Is Peugeot 206 OK for Uber and Ocar? |
Good day holy people of nairaland.
Is Peugeot 206 OK for Uber and Ocar? |
XGhost:which kind of ride do you use boss? |
Even me is facing the same problem. But I earn 30 billion naira per month |
But Hong Kong is burning ATM |
mooremoney:you are more useless if this is what your mind can come up with in reaction to the laudable policy. So you want people to be roasted every now and then? Or maybe you sell firefighting equipment and due to selfishness you want the accidents to keep happening? |
If you can't answer those questions on your own, then you have no damn business applying for the commonwealth scholarship in the first place. Go to your dictionary and find out the meaning of scholarship. Use your own head! |
JudithChukwu:nne eh. While I agree that this is a great way to secure the future with funds that you ain't having any designs on, I don't think this is for me. My 200k is my home and abroad and I need it to grow, say 20% per month. Sadly only few avenues are available for that kind of growth. 8 wonder how I will keep 200k and after 3 months I get 6k on it. I would rather leave it in the savings account where it was. Cost of stress to move funds to anew trading platform sef is equivalent to the 6k |
Biritiko:wow. This is an investment for the patient. |
