Politics / Re: 2023: Why Tinubu Should Pick An Igbo Man As Running Mate by Obiobidgbo14: 5:42pm On Aug 01, 2020
hisexcellency34:
Tinubu can run in 2023 as long as he is prepared to pick an Igbo man as running mate. That is the only way he can be guaranteed victory. You dont need to pick a Northerner as running mate.

The North can get Senate President or Speaker. That is the only way we can support him.
Imagine no Igbo man as President or Vice-President since 1999 and we are talking about justice and equity

No let him pick another Yoruba as a running m9

*Awolowo lost or was rigged out of two elections
*Abiola won 1993 election even when Ibos voted for Northern candidate because of Ibo vice
*Olusegun Obasanjo won 1999 primaries against Alex Ekwueme, won 2003 general election against Buhari and his Ibo vice

Why are Ibos scared of contesting against Tinubu?

.
My friend don't be too bold,God gives power to whomever he wishes.Igbos have many many good heads that can save this country until that time the country will remain backward.

he is saying the truth. IBO's are wicked to themselves and they don't accommodate other religion and tribes. most IBO's come to north, even after the civil war, and they make their money. they go back home with their money and come back with their younger brother's to make money also.

but, they can't allow a northerner to breathe in IBO land. how many northerner or southwest have you heard of or seen making it big in IBO land? if southeast is conducive for other tribe , those doing business there will invites their brother's to come. but the revised is the Case. they will rubb u off.

Your case will be worse than the Americans who insisted on bringing democracy (and civilization) to the Afgans who incidentally can't stand them.

las las, the Americans have to leave their country for them. Same way the left vietnam with their tails between their legs.

Yorubas will do that and I am not even Igbo but I find Yorubas very treacherous and they betray you for NO REASON but sadistic pleasure. Extremely competitive people. Whoever invented the term "pull him down syndrome" had Yorubas I mind.

I pray the allegation is not true, if the intellectuals join in tribal witch hunting, there will be a serious pay back fire.If the world can see Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iwuala as one of African best and her fellow country men who should give her full support are now sabotaging her election. It says volume of the unity of this nation.

There's nothing this overhyped dishonest woman bring to WTO
There are better qualified candidates like that Amina of Kenya and that mexican chap.
I wish you goodluck though.

When people propagate for the division of this enclave I use to see them as trouble shooters but I am beginning to think otherwise. How come it that one of the brightest woman ever produced by the African continent will be sabotaged by her fellow country because of tribalism.

Politics / Re: Kumuyi And Nwodo: Blood Is Thicker Than Water by Obiobidgbo14: 6:23am On Jul 05, 2020
Bulleye:
Before Nwodo, Nnamdi Kanu once gave order that Kumuyi, Deeper Life General Overseer , should be stoned if he dared step his feet in Abia for a crusade. Deeper Life called off the crusade. Ndigbo did not rise up in unison to condemn Kanu. To them Kanu was dealing with a Yoruba person. Body of Christ was less important than Biafra struggle. Kanu was on course.Biafra first and the end justified the means.

It was Igbo nationalism at its peak. Ndigbo saw all non - Igbo as enemies and Nnamdi Kanu was given the assignment to deal with them all. And he was doing a fantastic job.

Not until he attacked Nwodo did Ndigbo wake up that there are "elders". All the elderly people of non - Igbo extraction deserved insults. Ndigbo elders being insulted? No way! This is hypocrisy of highest order. Perhaps if Ndigbo had cautioned Nnamdi Kanu over his attack on Kumuyi, he would not have issued the stoning order on Nwodo. Kumuyi did not deserve respect from Ndigbo but Nwodo does.

Blood is really thicker than water and Ndigbo should also allow other ethnic nationalities to protect and honour their elders. Not even the body of Christ could make Ndigbo respect Kumuyi. It was Biafra first and Christ second.

Sophisticated divider,so when many of the Igbos were rebuking Nnamdi kanu for that order he made against kumuyi you did not hear or see that,You think by insulting Igbos Nigerians will like you?dreamer.

Politics / Re: 2023: What Counts Against Igbo Presidency? by Obiobidgbo14: 6:23pm On Jul 04, 2020
FrLukas:
I'll advice the Igbos to jettison whatever ambitions they have towards the presidency for now and throw their weight behind the current Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

He's the man for the job.

We all know that the PDP won't field an Igbo candidate, neither will the APC.

We also know that even Igbos will not vote for another Igbo candidate.

No insult here, check the trend of voting in Nigeria. There were Igbo contenders in 2019, but the Igbos preferred to Atikulate.

So, the chances of an Igbo winning a Presidential election in Nigeria isn't slim, it is non existent.

The best bet for the South of Nigeria is to back Yemi Osinbajo.

The best bet for the whole of Nigeria, come 2023, is to back Osinbajo.

Because you think that Igbo nation are all drunk
