Pls good people, Has anyone successfully applied for and received child dependant visa for a child over 16yrs of age? Did you upload anything differently apart from birth cert, Int'l passport and POF; like a letter from his school and his bank statement confirming his address as same with yours?

I found this on https://www.gov.uk/student-visa/family-members where it was requested to provide 2 out the list of documents in order to confirm address.

(Pls see the document attached)

*Open an account for the child and pay in some money. Ensure the address on the account is same as place of residence.

* Get a letter of confirmation from the child's school stating the child lives with you and you pay her fees.

This meets two of the requirements listed. I did so for my daughter and got her Visa all thanks to Scobby2007 guidance.

An airline with a poor customer service despite being recently launched. Speaking from the bad experience i had with them where i was trying to save cost for a trip to Lagos with family. A case of awoof dey run belle!!

Return tickets (Port Harcourt - Lagos) were booked and paid for on the 18th of August 2021and i was feeling excited i had gotten a good deal as their flight fare was quite cheap and we were getting ready to leave for Lagos on their (08:15 - 9:35) flight on the 20th when i got a call on the 19th from their customer care rep. by 7.05pm informing me about the flight cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances and confirmed to me that the return ticket (06:10 - 07:40) Lagos - Port Harcourt was still valid and i requested for a refund on the cancelled flight . I quickly had to source for alternative flights from other airlines and we were able to make the trip to Lagos on the 20th. On my return trip on the 22nd of August we got to the airport some minutes past 5.20 am at their departure lounge at the Old Domestic Airport Terminal and tried to check-in only to be told that the flight had just left keeping my family and about 15 other passengers stranded. Tried making enquiries from their staff at their check-in desk and possibly speak with their supervisor, they weren't really helpful and kept saying since we missed the flight that our tickets were now termed as having being used hence there won't be any refund. i ended up buying tickets from Ibom Air so as to enable my family and i make it to Port Harcourt, this was after I spoke with someone from their call center who kept on saying their tickets states check-in time is 1hr before departure which I tried to confirm on our tickets and nothing of such was written, same on their website too.

Still waiting for my refund promised me..
