Immigration passport office in Alausa, Lagos has discipline o, the officers are so nice and professional, it's not business as usual as people say it. Redneck Immigration police are everywhere monitoring activities, they sent two ladies out in my presence, they shunted the line and it was not their day for capturing but someone assisted them to bring out their files. So if you go to Alausa passport office in Lagos and you have an officer assisting you, be smart about it o, cos you can put yourself and the officer in trouble. And for those Portharcourt people saying some fair lady officer downstairs named IB is nasty and also one upstairs at the 3rd floor is unprofessional, report to Servicom or a redneck Immigration police (they have a red IP tag on their arm), they'll be chastised.

Anyway the lady upstairs on 3rd floor doin verification and the fair one that sits downstairs on the servicom desk are one of the worst individuals. Never seen such corrupt ridden women before.

The lady at the NPC office said she can't write Delta as place of birth since she's doing it in Lagos office. Does she need an affidavit

That shouldn't be, her affidavit is what is used to prepare the birth attestation. So if she states on the affidavit that she was born in Delta state in so so year, it's also supposed to reflect on the birth attestation.

Please my wife has her birth certificate from national population commission in Lagos but she was born in Delta state and her intl passport has Delta state as place of birth. I want to ask if this would cause any problem. Thanks

3. Must a reason be stated for getting the passport (section 3), is it not obviously for travel, what should i do?

Please I needed help on Guarantor form under Note No 2: whereit was stated " this form of understanding and indemnity must be presented to the commissioner for stamp duties for stamping within forty days from the date it is sworn to" what do they mean by this?

Was at the Maitama Express Passport Center today by 8:45am.

Long story short by 12:05pm, I collected my new passport (renewal). No hassle, no extortion.

Very professional service

So I planned to share my experience from Abeokuta with you guys.

Yesterday was my capture date, got there with all the required docs and went straight to the servicom desk.

I was told some docs were missing but not to worry the lady there explained what was missing.

1. There are 2 particular forms that you need to get from them and fill (note: I have heard some places would tell you to get this online if they notice you did DIY)

2. You need 2 printout of the payment page

3. You need to go with your old passport if it's renewal.

The most important stuff is, go to the center to submit your documents days ahead of your interview. This would help you from getting delayed.

Abeokuta is cool thou. Quick service and lots of folks willing to help without expecting cash from you.

Lots of passport are also available for collection, saw lots of passport yesterday.
