Really ? Lam is from kogi ? That means he is either igala or ebira . I doubt if Yorubas in south west are up to 40% ascribed to them.

you maybe correct but Igbos are there in their numbers working in Oyo, Lagos & Ondo. Promotion is subject to the powers that be. And if it hasn't happened I can happen there too someday.
So you agree that the government of Anambra recognized the man's prowess and promoted him ryt ?

Do you know that Gov Aregbesola who was Governor of Osun State twice was not even from the SW?
Aregbesola was an indigene of Kogi State his Father was even an Egbira
Show us your SE Governors that were not indigenous to the States they Governed
Hmmm, somebody just posted earlier that Yorubas are just 40% in south west and you guys were wailing over that thread, is this your comment not a confirmation of what the op posted ?

I don't know why you guys are wailing over this news, is it not because of the above that PDP was kicked out of Abia state ? So what else do you want

The opposition should get themselves prepared first and not get caught unaware like it happened during the last election in the state.
For me the opposition did all they could in the last election, just that the electoral body and court shortchanged them
Do you think that the victory in Abia state iwas due to just opposition vigilance ? If not for a credible returning officer that supervised that election, PDP would have snatched it and the court would have affirmed it. You can't imagine Nkanu East that is the least populated LG in Enugu state polling the highest votes .
A God fearing RO would have cancelled Nkanu East votes instantly just like Prof OTI did to Ngwa LGA

The idea is that one smart school will take up the entire population of the 10 poor schools that are existing now. That way, you have a mega school with infrastructure comparable to anywhwere in the world.

We are still saying the same thing, I am not against the Smart school but what l am against is waisting our scarce resources while there are many existing schools with no pupil, a particular secondary primary school has more infrastructure than most secondary schools, so why not use such for the ward by just carrying out minor renovation (since Ugwuanyi renovated most of the schools ) and equip them .
Peter Obi revolutionized primary and secondary education in Anambra without building a single school from the scratch. What he did was to upgrade what he met on ground by way of renovation, equipment and coming up with relevant policies .

For me Smart school and new enugu city are the most useless projects of this Mba administration .

If they have concrete evidence of where Bello is, they would have bursted that place.

Bello did something silly which those who could have saved him like Buhari also got disappointed.

Is Bello having any connection with the current NEF? Because I don't think is offense can be per say about how he governed Kogi state
Are you saying that Buhari could have saved a man accused of corruption but we were told by you guys that Buhari is the most honest Nigerian ever, Mr integrity in the mud grin

You guys should chill.

We we get it right.

There are many projects ongoing.

There is a smart school project ongoing in almost all communities.

Enugu water project is still ongoing

International conference centre is being completed

New Enugu City is coming up.

Keep faith with Peter Mbah
Smart school is least of our problems in this state, why not make the existing schools smart instead of waisting money to construct new schools,
For example there are about 10 government owned primary schools in my ward and none has up to 100 pupils as most parents send their wards to private schools , why not convert one of the schools to smart school ?
As for water, I put it to you that the work done so far is less than 50% l don't see some parts of Nike getting water even in the next two years.

Let us tell ourselves the truth, Nigeria is peculiar because of its configuration. We are not totally one, even in the same state, let alone in the larger Nigeria. We are people of different ideologies, backgrounds, languages, religions and thinking. This makes it difficult to operate as one entity for the growth of the state or nation.
For now average Nigerians believe if my own or brother of my constituency not there, it is a cheat to him.
Again, we have to tell ourselves the truth, there is no constituency that are not peopled with cerebral and competent individuals. The only problem we have is we tend to shortchanged competence for mediocre in choosing who to represent us. Many at times we allow political patronage to dictate our sense of reasoning without considering different parameter that would have helped choosing capable and effective administrator or leader. This has been the bane affecting our leadership we churned out always.
I have to add this, no constituent that doesn't have great and capable hands in any state. Only we shy away from identifying them for political reasons.
Note that there is no zoning at the federal level, the only place the nonsense is going on are in some states, zoning I repeat again breeds mediocrity and nepotism , that's why every governor under zoning focuses on his local government, while those in other local governments will keep quiet, waiting for their turn.
If we are serious with ourselves, a person form my LGA or senatorial zone doesn't need to be a governor before my zone or LGA could experience good governance.
Only credible electoral system will solve our problems in this country.

Have you seen the project scope and specification?

Oga, it's JB that's handling the project not Ojuelegba under bride construction companies
I am saying this because covering of drainages is done at the prelim stage, just immediately after casting the drainage but here work has advanced to laying of asphalt and the drainage is still open.

Again, the few projects he has completed comes in substandard manner, no reputable construction company is handling any road in Enugu.
Mba was handed over a better governed state compared to Otti but while Otti hit the ground running, Mba became confused.

I always fear any bleaching governor, like Mba like uzodimma like Dapo Abiodun

Zoning is good but capable hands should be voted for. If one failed in a zone, another person can be voted for to complete for instead of reinforcement failure. But zoning reduces political infighting among constituencies and create a sense of belonging to every segments of the state or nation. My own grouse is we should stop reinforcing failure.
Development above sense of belonging, zoning has done more harm than good.

It is zoning that makes the people to overlook someone that failed in his first tenure because they want him to complete his zones slot so it can go to another zone.

During the last election, I supported Ike Ekweremadu trying to disrupt the zoning arrangement in enugu state, zoning breeds mediocrity

For me once the slot has gone round, it should be thrown open, we can't continue to condone incompetence just because we don't want to "shortchange" a particular zone or because we don't want a particular zone to rule for 12 years.
. democracy should be about good leadership instead of sense of belonging.

There is tho.
Enugu international wing and cargo section is currently on going
ICC is currently being completed
Smart schools and primary health care centers are currently being built
Enugu modern security control center is on going
Road constructions are currently on going in the new enugu city
Heard that Sugimoto wants to build a rice farm estate and cement factory. Don't know how serious they are.

Then, enugu logistics hubs and modern bus terminals, I don't know the status of the projects.

Those are the ones I know of
Defending this man will be difficult, he promised 10000kms of road in 8 years and that is 1250kms per year but as I am typing, no major road is under construction in Enugu state.
When he was campaigning and in his victory speech, he kept mentioning about dualization of Nike road bus as I am typing, that road is deteriorating because he couldn't even patch it as Gburugburu used to do every December.
He also talked about dualizing Abakalili road from emene flyover to Ebonyi boundary, what about the double lane he promised to construct from enugu to ehamufu in isiuzo.
By next month his administration will clock 1 year but unfortunately he will have nothing to show. Total road done in one year less than 100km .
A lot of his projects are abandoned, I just pray we don't miss Gburugburu

In Nigeria we always like reinforcing failure. It's their turn, let them do two terms. Two terms of failure and embezzlement.
You see some people have even started glamouring for Tinubu's second term when he has not clock 1 in the one he is doing and no results yet but some political jobbers have started praising his failure and policies somersault. Nigerians and failure refinement are conjoined twins.
There will be no meaningful development at the state level until we abolish zoning
