Luxurious buses are not slow at all , unless the old or unfit ones . He took over in July , let's assume his birth month is at the year end , he should at least be 31 years when he took over and must have clocked 32 in the same 1966 . Yakubu Gowon was 29 years in 1963 and if what we were taught is true, Tafawa Balewa and Nnamdi Azikiwe held sway throughout 1963 infact that was the year Nigeria became a republic. So ,I don't know where this popular believe that Gowon became head of state at the age of 29 is coming from or does it means that simple mathematics have failed Nigerians ?
