I am a witness to a similar incident where a young man who was staying in my neighborhood had a fight with Hausa guy whom he pummelled badly and he quickly went to a nearby company where a detachment of military men were working and two Hausa soldiers immediately followed him .But he got whiff of it and ran away they came and beatup neighbours who were around and broke into his apartment (upon realizing he had escaped) and packed all his belonging outside the house. They didn't stop there, they ordered that that guy should pack from the neighborhood.

Kano State Hisbah Board on Thursday arrested eight young girls allegedly involved in prostitution, against the Sharia law in the state.
The board’s Assistant Commander-General, Operations, Malam Nasiru, said the suspects were apprehended at Rijiyar Zaki bus-stop during a special patrol.
“Our men went there around 5:00 p.m. on Thursday evening and arrested eight suspects at the Bus stop”
“All the suspects are females of between the age of 22 and 23.”
Nasiru said, the arrest followed a tip-off, adding that the suspects will be taken to court after proper investigation.
