Obviously the Nigerian army are making huge financial benefits from fighting Boko Haram, banditry,Herdsmen, and other terrorist activities, be it in Benue,Maiduguri,Southern Kaduna or anywhere. They do everything humanly possible to prolong such activities so they can continue to reap financial benefits fighting it.The military boys in the trenches may be genuinely fighting to help end the menace but their bosses in office do not want terrorism to end. Had the Benue gang leader surrendered, the military task force would have been disbanded. And the huge fund flowing to the leader of the taskforce would have been stopped. This is the untold reason Gana was killed. It boils down to corruption in the army. As a person with insider knowledge I comfirm that this is the sad reality. |
You are just economical with the truth.Your figures are incorrect and to be more specific this write-up is fake and your just an ethnic jingoist.Try another tactics |
Believe it or leave it Nigerian security forces (especially police)are the enemies of Nigeria Unity. How can police be sure that these guys are IPOB members? How can you be so sure they are going to fortify themselves, besides how does consulting a spiritualist become a crime in Nigeria. I can only tell you that Nigerian security forces are only helping these guys reinforce what they believe in and that is "HATRED" for Nigeria.Because he who is rejected does not reject oneself! |

Northern political leaders generally are very bad leaders. They are unarguably the worst politicians in Nigeria.Ganduje knew all along the implication of not preparing to tackle covid19 when it eventually hits the ground running in Kano Almajiri society, yet he did almost nothing beforehand to mitigate the impendind disaster.can you imagine the gov. blaming the federal govm.for his inability to set up at least five testing centers to start with in a state this populous as Kano.Well am yet to hear him accuse the federal govnt. for ploting to reduce the kano population;the kind of allegation his former counterpart in Borno used to cover his inability to do anything to stop Boko haram When you see nothern politicians campaign for political office you would think that they are going to change Nigeria in a moment. Yet when they get there they are worst leaders to lead any society. Ganduje was busy removing emirs instead of preparing for covid19. Nemesis will soon catch up with him! |
Taiwan has accused the World Health Organization of failing to communicate an early warning about transmission of the coronavirus between humans, slowing the global response to the pandemic. Health officials in Taipei said they alerted the WHO at the end of December about the risk of human-to-human transmission of the new virus but said its concerns were not passed on to other countries Taiwan is excluded from the WHO because China, which claims it as part of its territory, demands that third countries and international bodies do not treat Taiwan the way independent states are treated. The WHO’s relationship with China has been criticised in the past, with some countries accusing the organisation of praising Beijing’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak despite allegations local officials had initially covered it up. China being a communist state frowns at doctors making public statement about epidemic without first informing the Government. li Wenliang was sanctioned for raising alarm about SARS2 outbreak. The chinese doctor who raised the alarm two weeks before it was officially announced eventually died fighting the outbreak which China initially called a "false alarm" Taiwan said its doctors had heard from mainland colleagues that medical staff were getting ill — a sign of human-to-human transmission. Taipei officials said they reported this to both International Health Regulations (IHR), a WHO framework for exchange of epidemic prevention and response data between 196 countries, and Chinese health authorities on December 31. Taiwanese government officials told the Financial Times the warning was not shared with other countries. “While the IHR’s internal website provides a platform for all countries to share information on the epidemic and their response, none of the information shared by our country’s [Centers for Disease Control] is being put up there,” said Chen Chien-jen, Taiwan’s vice-president. “The WHO could not obtain first-hand information to study and judge whether there was human-to-human transmission of Covid-19. This led it to announce human-to-human transmission with a delay, and an opportunity to raise an early alert both in China and the wider world was lost,” said Mr Chen, an epidemiologist by training who was health minister at the time of the Sars outbreak. China’s health ministry only confirmed human-to-human transmission on January 20, after the WHO said in mid-January there might be “limited” human-to-human transmission but stepped back from this view on the same day. The WHO has had to strike a delicate balance with China throughout the outbreak, with some accusing the organisation of being too pliant. 12 WHO experts visited Wuhan, the city at epicenter of the outbreak. Bruce Aylward, the Canadian epidemiologist who led the team said Chinese health officials did not want to refer to the pathogen as “dangerous” as they regarded such terminology as reserved for diseases with higher mortality rates. In summary Tedros Ghebreyesus WHO and Chinese officials caused the spread of this global pandemic called Covid19. |

I have always maintained that 2023 will determine whether Nigeria will remain United as a Country or disintegrate. What is it that people like Junaid are doing specially for Nigeria to make them think that they deserve to retain the Throne of Nigeria for ever.Northern citizens have governed Nigeria more than any region of this country yet, they are the least developed, poorest and and the least educated, most corrupt etc.It is on record that their leaders watered the ground for the bloodletting that is today called Boko Haram.point one positive legacy that one Nigerian leader of Nothern extraction has bequeathed on this Nation.Rather Nigeria inherited trillions of dollars debt from their military leaders that took the intervention of Ibos in Obasanjo's cabinet to get the paris club to write off the huge debt burden. Junaidu or whatever they call him should save his breath for his day of waterloo. |

In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Sunday, Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman acknowledged that the attacks on Aramco refineries in Abqaiq and Khurais, east of Saudi Arabia, had cut the state oil giant’s crude oil supply by around 5.7 million barrels per day, or about 50 percent of its output. He added, however, that parts of the reduction would be compensated for through drawing from Aramco’s oil stocks. The minister noted that the attacks had also led to a halt in gas production that will reduce the supply of ethane and natural gas liquids by 50 percent. Yemen used 10 drones for Saturday’s operation, which was one of their largest retaliatory attacks ever inside the kingdom. Yemen’s armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e has even warned that operations will “expand” and be “more painful” as long as Saudi Arabia continues its military aggression. Saudi stocks tumble after Yemen raids In the aftermath of the successful Yemeni operation, Saudi shares dropped three percent at the start of trading Sunday, the first session after the drone attacks. The Arab world’s largest capital market shed some 200 points in the first few minutes after the opening bell, before regaining some of the losses. The key energy sector plunged 4.7 percent, while the telecom and banking sectors each slid three percent. |

Trump warned that Dorian, which is on track to hit Florida possibly as a dangerous Category 4 hurricane, could be a "very big one." The president had been scheduled to attend ceremonies in Warsaw marking the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II He was one of the few major foreign leaders attending the event and had framed the visit as part of what he says is a close relationship with Polish President Andrzej Duda. "It's something very important for me to be here," Trump said in his surprise announcement. "Our highest priority is the safety and security of the people in the path of the hurricane." |
Some say Jesus Christ was just a man, or maybe a great teacher . But He was and is much more than that. The Bible says Jesus is unique in both His person and His purpose . He wasn ’t just some spiritual individual during His time on earth; He was both God ’ s Son ( John 3 :16 ) and God Himself —God in human flesh (I Timothy 3 :16 ). Yes, He was fully man, but He was also fully God (Colossians 2:9 ). The claims Jesus claimed to be God. It might be hard to understand how this could be true, but it ’s important to remember that God is much bigger and more powerful than we can comprehend . We do know that Jesus said He existed before Abraham (John 8: 58). He claimed that He and His Father are one ( John 10 :30 ), and that He is equal with the Father (John 5 :17 -18 ). Not only did He claim to be God , but He also claimed to have the power of God . He said He has the authority to judge the nations ( Matthew 25 :31 -46 ). He claims the authority to raise people from the dead (John 5: 25 -29 ) and to forgive sins (Mark 2 :5 -7)—things only God can do (I Samuel 2 :6 ; Isaiah 43 :25 ). Further, Jesus says He has the power to answer prayers ( John 14 :13 -14 ), and that He will be with His followers always ( Matthew 28 :20 ). The New Testament equates Jesus to the creator of the universe (John 1 :3), and in John 16 : 15, He says, “ All that belongs to the Father is mine.” But where ’ s the proof ? Claiming to be something , as Jesus claimed to be God, doesn ’t make it true. Where ’s the evidence that He is God ? Jesus ’ identity isn’ t based solely on what He says, but on what He does. And He has left a lot of evidence that He is God . That evidence includes fulfilled prophecy and recorded miracles in which Jesus reversed the laws of nature. He also lived a sinless life ( Hebrews 4 :15 ), something no one else has done . The ultimate proof of His divinity, however , was His resurrection from the dead after His death on the cross . No one else has ever risen from the dead on his own. Did Jesus ever say , ‘ I am God ’? If someone said to you, “I am God , ” would you believe him? Many people who believe in one God would think the person is blaspheming. Even if Jesus said the exact words, “ I am God, ” many people would not have believed Him or even heard what He had to say. Yet , He did give us reasons to believe such a claim without using these words. In Luke 4: 8, Jesus says , “ It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only .'” He said and showed many times that He is the Lord. Jesus says, for example , that He is “ the first and the last” (Revelation 1: 17 , 22 : 13), which God the Father says in Isaiah 44 : 6. But maybe you’re looking for a place in the Bible where Jesus says, “I am God ; worship me ” in those exact words. If we suggest that Jesus could only claim to be God by saying that one sentence , we might also ask where He says, “I am a great teacher , but not God , ” or, “ I am just a prophet ; don ’t worship me . ” The Bible doesn’ t say that, either. The good news is that Jesus told us He is God in many different ways! He has made it clear that He and God the Father are one ( John 10 :30 ), and says in John 14 :6 , “I am the way and the truth and the life. ” Who else could claim these things except God ? Does that mean there are multiple gods? Believing Jesus is God doesn ’t mean there are multiple gods . Followers of Jesus believe in one God in three persons. A popular bible teacher once explained , “God has shown Himself to us in three ways—as Father , Son and Holy Spirit. Each has a separate function —and yet they are all united as one God . “Let me illustrate it this way. Have you ever thought of some of the things we see around us that are both three— and yet also one ? Centuries ago , St . Patrick used a clover leaf to teach the Irish about this— it has three leaves , and yet is still only one leaf . Or think of water . A quart of water can be ice, water , or steam— but it’ s still the same quart of water. ” How can Jesus be God if He is God ’ s Son? If Jesus is God ’s Son, does that mean God had a wife? God has never had a wife . Calling Jesus God ’ s Son is an expression of His role in relation to God the Father . Unlike us, Jesus was not conceived by two earthly parents; He was born of a virgin through a miraculous work of God . He was born holy , without sin . Being born of a virgin might seem impossible—even Jesus ’ mother , Mary, asked , “ How will this be? ( Luke 1: 34 )—yet God is all-powerful and made a way for the holy Jesus to be born a human. In Matthew 1 :20 , an angel tells Mary ’s fiancé , Joseph, that what is conceived in Mary “ is from the Holy Spirit. ” Jesus was not born out of a sexual relationship between God and Mary, but instead out of a miracle by God through the Holy Spirit. Jesus was both fully God and fully human. It is also significant that the most thorough Gospel account of the virgin birth was written by Luke , a medical doctor . If anyone knew the impossibility of a virgin birth , it was Luke —yet, after careful research , he concluded that it was a fact. The God who was powerful enough to create the universe was also powerful enough to bring Jesus into the world without a human father . His miraculous birth is just one more testament to His deity Why should we care who Jesus is ? There is one way to heaven , one way to be free from your sin and to have a relationship with God. That’ s through Jesus Christ. Acts 4: 1II says, “Salvation is found in no one else , for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. ” To have eternal life in heaven , you must put your trust in Jesus . Here’s why : We all sin , meaning we all fall short of God’ s perfect standard. The consequence of sin is death ( Romans 6 :23 ). That means eternal separation from God. But because Jesus lived a sinless life, His death on the cross provided the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Because He defeated death by rising again , we can have eternal life in the presence of God when we put our trust in Him. |
How is Christianity different from every other religion in the world? The answer focuses on Jesus Christ, “the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16 ). Christ means “anointed one.” It is the term for the ancient Hebrew word Messiah—the anointed one whom God would send to save His people. The first believers of the early Christian church recognized Jesus as the Messiah promised in the Old Testament. Their period of world history was full of discouragement and despair. The promised Messiah shone as a beacon in the darkness, and His light has never dimmed: “In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. … The true Light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world” (John 1:4, 9). Today, as world leaders struggle with seemingly insurmountable problems, this darkening and menacing situation accentuates the brightness of the One who proclaimed, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12 ). Jesus alone can offer eternal life because He is the only one who lived a sinless life and provided the perfect sacrifice for our sins by His death on the cross. He lived on earth as man, but was also divine. Because He was divine, He rose again three days after His death—the only one ever to die and come back to life on His own—then ascended into heaven. While the founders of various non-Christian religions of the world have died and been buried, Christ is very much alive ! Jesus was the only one to claim to be God and the only one to prove it. In His words, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6 ). Because the Bible is God’s inspired Word and God cannot lie, it does not contradict itself or teach falsehoods. It is in this very Scripture that Jesus is revealed. |
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has disclosed that his monthly salary as the state governor is N650,000. He, therefore, declared his readiness to tackle poor remuneration in the state’s civil service. Makinde made this declaration while addressing the newly sworn-in Commissioners in the state as he reiterated his commitment towards finding a lasting solution to the issue of poor remuneration in the civil service. He maintained that poor remuneration packages could be counterproductive to anti-corruption initiatives. The Governor stated that under his leadership, it would not be business as usual, as he would do everything possible to ensure that workers in the state were not exposed to the temptations of corruption. He said, “We do have challenges and I can give you an example of the kind of issues that we are faced with. When I was on the podium being sworn-in, I announced that I was donating my salary to the pension board. I actually thought my salary was going to be like N3 or N4 million monthly but when I came in here, I discovered that my salary is only six hundred and fifty naira (N650,000) monthly, which is less than two thousand dollars ($2,000). And then, I have a budget of over five hundred million dollars. “How can somebody earning $24,000 a year preside over a five hundred million dollar budget? The temptation is just too high. “When I was growing up, anytime I saw permanent secretaries and top civil servants, all around with their entourage, jeeps, Land cruisers, I thought they were making it big because I was driving Peugeot or Toyota Camry. “But when I came in here, the salary of Permanent Secretaries is under N500,000 per month; in such an environment where you have contractors coming with big temptations. The expectation is just too great and high. But the good news is, we will find a solution to this. It’s going to business unusual in Oyo State.” He charged all the new Commissioners in the state to key into his vision and manifesto of accelerated development of Oyo State, adding that the administration would conduct business in an unusual manner that would change the narrative about governance in the state. |

Israel doesn't have an answer to the massive disparity between the low-cost drones and the high cost of defense measures. As the opaque debate continues on whether the two drones that crashed in Beirut on Sunday were Israeli or Iranian, the dilemma that Israel faces remains clear: it does not have a comprehensive solution to drone attacks. Not only does Israel not have a defense against a mass drone strike that a variety of adversaries could attempt, but it has no answer to the massive disparity between the low-cost drones and the high cost of defense measures. Israel has made some progress since the State Comptroller published a report in November 2017 describing how utterly unprepared Israel was to defend against drone attacks by Hamas , Hezbollah or Iran . Drones are smaller and harder to hit than the rockets fired by Hamas and Hezbollah. Highly maneuverable, they are more likely to penetrate deep into Israel in a coordinated attack. To date, the IDF has downed some invading drones using air-to-air or land-to-air missiles. It has also missed some. And it has not yet faced a coordinated multi-drone attack that many believe would overwhelm the existing defenses. Knowing the IDF’s limitations at shooting down drones once they are airborne, much of Israel’s strategy has focused on destroying drone-producing factories and units before they are launched. If the drones that crashed were Iranian, the fact that more than one was being used against Israel during a relatively short time period – though possibly not simultaneously – would be far more significant than Israel’s success this time at shooting them down. Whether they were Iranian or Israeli (the pictures distributed to date could be interpreted in either direction), defense experts have been saying for some years now that it is only a matter of time. While private defense companies have developed solutions for jamming or taking control over some drones, to date their solutions are limited. In one development in July, the US Marine Corps’ Light Marine Air Defense Integrated System (LMADIS) jammed an Iranian drone that flew within 1,000 meters of a Navy warship. The LMADIS system uses a radar and cameras to scan the sky to detect drones and distinguish between friendly and hostile systems. It then uses radio frequencies to jam the drone. But the system and other similar systems can costs millions, and are still not considered reliable in the case of a mass drone attack. Israel has confronted a similar cost dilemma before. In its arms race with Hamas and Hezbollah, Jerusalem pays far more per unit for each Iron Dome interceptor or other missile defense interceptor than its adversaries pay for their cheaply manufactured, often homemade rockets. At a Maariv security conference in May, INSS fellow and former Israel Air Force major Liran Antebi noted that Israel was also at a disadvantage because even as it invested to improve its drone defense, the process was slow and highly bureaucratic. She said this could be problematic facing adversaries like Hamas and Hezbollah, which can quickly produce new threats without bureaucratic hurdles. It remains unclear whether Israel successfully unveiled a new technology or otherwise downed Iranian drones, or lost its own drones. Regardless of what happened on Sunday in the skies over Beirut, the day when Israel will simultaneously need to defend against an armada of drones is fast approaching. If Israel waits to finding solutions to defend against a mass drone attack because of the economic disparity of asymmetric warfare, then just as it dithered in investing in technology to locate Hamas’ attack tunnels, the results could be far more disastrous than in 2014’s Operation Protective Edge. |
Stunningly, the IDF even published pictures of the two onboard a flight and near an airplane to Iran to take part in some of the training sessions. With Monday morning’s jaw-dropping sharing of a wealth of intelligence by the IDF about the Iranian drone crew it struck in Lebanon , the power of Israeli intelligence became ever clearer. The key to the IDF thwarting the planned attack by Iran on Israel was not merely that it identified the Lebanese operatives working with the Iranians who were en route to carry out their attack, but that it traced the presence of particular operatives involved in using drones on their way to the area before they got there. Let’s analyze the information put out by the IDF. First, there were three casualties from the strike, two of whom were Hezbollah operatives being trained by Iran’s external intelligence Quds Force: Hassem Yussuf Zabib from Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, born in 1996, and Yasser Ahmed Tzahr from Beleide village, born in 1997. According to the IDF, the two visited Iran several times this year and went through training targeted at operation of unmanned aerial vehicles and explosive drones at the Quds Force base. Stunningly, the IDF even published pictures of the two onboard a flight and near an airplane to Iran to take part in some of the training sessions. According to IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Ronen Manelis, the IDF was ordered specifically to strike Aqraba early Sunday morning after they received intelligence that the attack would happen on Sunday. He said that the drones were like the kind used by the Houthis in Yemen against Saudi Arabia. Each of the drones could carry several kilograms of explosives and was supposed to be operated in conjunction with a group of Iranian pilots who arrived in Syria several days before, especially for this mission. The IDF has not identified the name of an additional Iranian it said was killed in the strike. From the above released intelligence, which is likely still only part of the full picture, part of the key is that the IDF has been watching these two individuals. Even nearly 20 years ago, when Israeli intelligence pulled off one of its best coups of all time, tracking and capturing the Palestinian terror Karine A massive weapons boat through the Indian Ocean and deep into the Red Sea, a huge key was tracking the movements of four or five individuals who it knew were part of the Palestinians’ smuggling network. Tracing those individuals, and likely tracing these two Hezbollah operatives, invariably includes old-school intelligence like HUMINT, or human spying provided by the Mossad. Israel has confirmed through various leaks that dozens of Mossad agents penetrated Iran to pull off its appropriation of Tehran’s secret nuclear file in January 2018. So, even as the CIA’s network in Iran was purged at least once in the 2010 to 2013 period due to security breaches, and the Iranians recently claimed to have purged a newer CIA network trying to track its illicit oil shipments, the Mossad likely still has found a way to have physical agents deep in the Islamic Republic. These agents could be responsible for the footage of the Hezbollah agents traveling on the airplane to Iran, but more likely is that one of Israel’s many cyber arms hacked a phone or video camera on or near the various airplanes. The photos appear like they were taken by the Hezbollah operatives to show off. Other tracing of these operatives, including video footage of some Quds Force operatives taking what appears to be an Iranian drone out to prepare it for a strike, could have been accomplished by Israeli drones, the IDF’s F-35, Mossad or IDF special forces in the field or again by hacking some kind of Hezbollah video feed nearby. The intelligence also makes it clear that Israel’s network for tracking these Hezbollah agents was spread out over multiple countries. All of this highlights that often a key to preventing disastrous attacks on Israel is not merely having an answer once the attack is in motion, but having unmatched intelligence prior to the attack so that the rug can be pulled out from beneath the feet of the attackers before they have been able to “hit the on-button” for their attack. There are some good questions to ask about what information security Israel may have compromised by sharing this information with the public and what the motivations for sharing it really was, which could be anything from psychologically beating Iran in public to politics. But Monday morning’s information showed unmistakably once again that in the arena of Middle East intelligence, Israel is second to none. |
An Indonesian man named Muh Aris bin Syukur from the city of Mojokerto in East Java was sentenced with chemical castration for the rape of nine children in a landmark ruling for the country. In 2016, President Joko Widodo signed a Perppu (Presidential Regulation In Lieu of Law) introducing the death penalty and chemical castration for convicted child molesters, which was ratified into law that same year by the House of Parliament (DPR). Three years on, Aris has become the first convicted child molester to be given the sentence in court. Aris was found guilty of raping nine girls from 2015-2018 in Mojokerto. He was arrested in October 2018 after he was caught by a CCTV camera molesting his latest victim. As reported by CNN Indonesia, documents from Aris’ court case showed that, on July 18, the Mojokerto High Court upheld a 12-year prison sentence and IDR100 million (US$7,012) fine given to Aris by the Mojokerto District Court in May. While that sentence is more lenient than the 17 years demanded by prosecutors, the District Court judges handed Aris an additional punishment for his crimes. “We hereby give the additional sentence in the form of chemical castration to the convicted,” the court ruling reads The case prosecutors did not demand that Aris be chemically castrated in their indictment. Given that the punishment has no precedent in Indonesia, the Mojokerto Prosecutors Office say they have no means yet to chemically castrate Aris so no date for the execution of the sentence has yet been announced. Chemical castration as a punishment was ratified into law in Indonesia after the shockingly brutal gang rape and murder of a teenage girl in Bengkulu in 2016. Activists say that the threat of severe punishment has not been as successful a deterrent as the government hoped, as sexual assault against children continue to be a serious problem in Indonesia. A lack of means has been one of the main barriers preventing the punishment from being rendered to convicted child molesters thus far. Soon after the punishment was introduced, the government controversially sought the help of The Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) to chemically castrate convicted child molesters, but the country’s medical professionals refused on the grounds that the procedure violates medical ethics. |
The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety), has condemned the current ranking in the country’s police force, in which no Igbo officer is Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) or Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG). In a statement on Sunday, the group stressed that the region was left with only six Commissioners of Police (CPs) The statement jointly issued by Head of Civil Liberties and Rule of Law, Obianuju Joy Igboeli, Head of Campaign and Publicity, Evangeline Chidinma Udegbunam and Board Chair of Intersociety, Emeka Umeagbalasi, revealed that by the current structure, the South East has been excluded from the Nigeria Police Management Team (PMT). It maintained that the Igbo reject the lopsided arrangement. The statement read in part: “Out of seven DIGs who head seven key departments of the Nigeria Police (NPF), South-East should have at least one DIG. “The South-East should also be entitled to two Police Zonal Command AIGs of the 12 and minimum of four or maximum of five AIGs of the about 20-22 serving AIGs.” On the 95 serving CPs, the South-East should have at least 15 CPs and not less than six state commands CPs. “The allocation of only six CPs and one Acting CP including a retiring CP is not only rejected but also grossly undermines the equity and fairness inherent in the geopolitical zones arrangement.” The group also argued that by Section 14 (3) of the 1999 Constitution and the equity principles of regional representation and national integration, the Police Service Commission (PSC) should ensure non-exclusion of any geopolitical zone in ranking and promotion of senior police officers and assignment of duties to them. The affected senior police officers are those classified and captured in the Police Officers Senior Staff List from the IGP to Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) updated on a monthly basis. Contrary to this provision, the group argued that the PSC and NPF were breaching the constitutional provision and principles by “deliberately excluding senior Igbo police officers from sensitive positions.” Specifically, DIG Godwin C. Nwobodo from Aninri, Enugu State retired on August 12, 2019 without replacement. Until his retirement, he was a member of the PMT, representing the South East Zone and DIG in charge of Department of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at Force Headquarters, Abuja. Also, former CP and now retired AIG Chris Okey Ezike from Ogboji, Anambra State was the only serving Igbo AIG as at March 2019, out of 20 serving AIGs then, among many others. |
