PoliticsI Will Go On Exile If I Don't Build 2nd Niger Bridge-jonathan(2012) by oboy3(op): 10:05pm On Oct 20, 2014
President Goodluck Jonathan has promised
to go on exile if he fails to build the Second
Niger Bridge before completing his term in
2015.
The Nigerian leader made the promise in his
remarks at a Town Hall Meeting held
yesterday in the commercial city of Onitsha
as part of activities marking his one-day visit
to Anambra State. During the visit, Jonathan
commissioned several projects, including
the oil production facilities of Orient
Petroleum at Aguleri, the massive SABMiller
Brewery at Onitsha and the Chukwuemeka
Odumegwu-Ojukwu Gateway in Onitsha.
The issue of Second Niger Bridge naturally
came up during the Town Hall Meeting since
Jonathan had during his campaigns for the
2011 presidential ballot promised to
construct the bridge if elected President.
Experts have warned that the existing
bridge constructed in 1965 may collapse
any time in view of the heavy traffic.
Speaking yesterday at the Town Hall
Meeting, the Nigerian leader said that “when
the first bridge was built, it was during the
presidency of Nnamdi Azikiwe; the second
Niger bridge will be built under the
presidency of Azikiwe Jonathan.” To further
reassure the people, the President said he
would go on exile on the completion of his
term if he does not build the bridge.
To convince his audience that serious
efforts are being made to build the bridge,
invited Works Minister Mike Onolomemen
and Finance Minister Dr. Ngozi Okonjo
Iweala to brief the people on what was
being done about the construction of the
bridge. Onolomemen reeled out the
technical details about the design of the
bridge and the companies bidding to
construct it, while Okonjo-Iweala unfolded
details about the financial arrangements
being made to construct the bridge.
At the end of the meeting, some of the
participants, among them businessman
Prince Arthur Eze were so thrilled that they
urged President Jonathan to seriously
consider seeking re-election in 2015.

Jonathan, flanked on the left by Governor
Peter Obi, waves at the crowd on his way to

JiggamanGh: Same with nigerian girls, except majority of nigerian girls lack face and sex appeal. Why you think boko haram came about.

Nigerian women are so mean to their men at least pick one struggle you can't be ugly and shapeless at the same time, that can make a man go boko which will be haram for everyone in Nigeria. Hence boko haram. Boko haram is in Nigeria to cleanse Nigeria of ugly and shapeless girls.

CrimeThis Ibadan Man Sees Nothing Wrong With Having Sex With A 14 Year-old by oboy3(op): 10:46am On Sep 08, 2014
Adeyemi Dairo, 27, a cobbler living in
Ibadan,Oyo state has been arrested by the
police for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.
Reports say Dairo, an indigene of Eruwa
town in Oyo, forcefully had sex with the
victim (names withheld) at his shoe repair
shop on August 21, 2014. The suspect,
however, claims the rape allegations are
false describing the young girl as his
girlfriend. According to Tribune reports,
Dairo asked the victim to help him take a
bench to his room...
As a mark of respect, the girl did as the
cobbler requested but her decision was at a
cost as she lost her virginity. Crime Reports
learnt that the suspect allegedly followed
the girl into the room, tied a cloth across
her mouth to prevent her from shouting
and tore her underwear before having his
way. He later threatened to organize a gang
rape if the victims dares to tell anyone
about what happened. The girl was said to
have complied until her mother noticed her
awkward movement few days after. She
confessed to her mother and the case was
reported immediately at the Eleyele Police
Station.Dairo admitted to having sex with
the girl but denied the allegation of rape,
saying that she was his girlfriend. “The girl
in question is my girlfriend. I have known
her for the past six months. I told her I liked
her the first day she came to mend shoes
but she said she was not interested.“About
a month after, when she came again, I
brought up the issue and she agreed to my
proposal. She used to come to my shop
thereafter and would even bring cooked
food for me. I used to buy things for her
also. We had known for four months when
she visited me. I told that we should go to
my room and she agreed. We went in and
had sex. I was not the one who deflowered
her.
“Recently, her mother followed her to my
place and asked whether I knew her and I
confirmed that she was my customer. She
said she took long in returning from an
errand and said I should always drive her
away from my shop. I was surprised when
the police came the following day to arrest
me. “I was also shocked when the
allegation of rape was levied against me,
also that I tied her hands, covered her
mouth and threatened her not to tell
anybody. She is my girlfriend, no doubt
about that, and we had sex together just
once. She told me she was 14 years old and
I am 27 years old. I didn’t use condom the
day I slept with her but did not ejaculate in
her.”When asked whether he would agree
that her sister of the same age as the victim
should have a boyfriend, Dairo replied: “I
don’t see anything wrong in it. I can’t also
stop her from having sex, I will only advise
her to be careful.”Oyo police spokeswoman,
Olabisi Okuwobi-Ilobanafor said that the
suspect will soon be charged to court after
investigations.

TabletMan: You have come again to hype that bush(umuoji) u call a village via comparison?
But I will obliged you..

Osumenyi built community bank.
They built their own market(eke Osumenyi) where people from bigger communities at imo and anambra normally come on eke market days.
They built Osumenyi plaza( a building that will dwarf all the shanties at umuoji built as town hall)
They built police station.
They people small scale industries to keep the village going.
People like Ik ifediniru are giving scholarship to students in universities and he has about 200+ on his payroll( how many souls put together at umuoji is doing that?)
Fabian Nworah(ceo of efab) is giving scholarship to his kindred from Jss3- university level, students in Jss3-30k
SS3-65k
Uni(arts)-100k
Uni(sci)-150k how many people can do that at umuoji?
Ukachukwu rebuilt many houses that is old and weak.
I am tired of typing cos there are many mores like contribution to schools, electricity and roads.
Just tell me how umuoji is more progressive than OSUMENYI after my long list. gringrin.
