South East is Atikulated. Onto the next one |
globemoney01:Be quiet when an Igbo man is talking about Igbo modus operandi known only to Igbos biko ![]() When you opened this propaganda account, the first thing directed to you lots is Cjrane2:Obviously, you failed to heed and proceed with your BMC business. Hope it's wotth selling your reality for sha |
Well, it's audible to the deaf and visible to the blind that the entire South East is nailed down for Atiku-Obi ![]() |
TheGreenLand:What revelation exactly? Can you tell exactly where the focus of the crowd was? Centre? Any Podium? With virtually everyone facing different directions? If not, I believe common sense dictates whatever could have held attention wasn't existent anymore, and from the littered ground, this was the end of an event. Rephrase..and maybe, thank him for an attempted brainwashing if that sells for you ![]() |
Ishilove:Seconded. That picture is just too unacceptable, particularly for a number of us that have kids within that age range. It's just plain unacceptable as reality. ![]() |
The woman's unsuitability as a mother is only a problem to her future husband. In this case, the father of the child carries the sole blame. He brought all of this upon the child and the mother of the chile by failing to keep his d¡ck in check. There is no smoke without fire ![]() |
Godblesspmb:Nairaland Rule 2 Violated Insult/Abuse all you want, bro. It's Politics Section on Nairaland. The APC umbrella that shields corrupt politicians from prosecution also shields defaulting APC supporters from ban else you lots would be more civil in your submissions |
This present senate is a shame to the nation... Once the head is bad, the body will be rotten. Nothing they do in the house than to wait on how to steal money. Saraki is a cursed man. Just take a look at one of your senator!
So you agree this administration is a far cry from democracy. You of all keep saying you have the numbers everywhere, but this head-body analogy contradicts your belief in those numbers even ![]() In Nigeria affairs, you blame the opposition. In Senate affairs, you still blame the minority. Indeed, gold has no value in a pig's snout ![]() |
deomelo:COURTESY your customary Thumbs Before Brains rule of living. ![]() |
deomelo:Nice to know IPOB and PDP managed to infiltrate an APC stronghold in Channels TV ![]() Oh wait..your thumbs ran faster than your brain as customary ![]() |
Ogirheema:NEMA are not coffin makers ![]() |
Y'all already heard of his unexplained wealth and you're still seeking his own confirmation of guilt ![]()
|
Ovamboland:Letting what Justice system work? You mean the one that applies only to select people and not any associated with the FG no matter how neck deep they are in corruption? That in itself is corruption, Chief. We hear the news of retrieved funds like everyday. Until these funds are beneficial to Nigerians, they are just words on paper which they had always been. Don't know what you were told I was told but I agree with Obi 100%. Get Nigeria working and Corruption dies a natural death. Buhari's current plan simply gets rid of his opposition and fosters corruption all the way to the grassroots. Of course, you are blinded by the fact that corruption is synonymous with Agbada, but have you ever stopped to assess the environment you are in? How viable it is now compared to 2014? What happened to all those retrenched fellows due to a failing economy? All those are the tools to ensure the continuity of corruption. |
Guestlander:Fairplay considering him and a horde of others enthroned the current schemers behind the anti-corruption fight. If you heard Obi well last night, I'm sure you won't mention his name and that line together. That was in no way, his submission. |
spiritedtete:No need 'sending' it to me privately. Just do it here so everyone can see 'all the lies'. I gave you a comprehensive list. You tackled only one but couldn't denigrate it. Well, I still give you that as a bonus. There are others to prove wrong. Oh and by the way, the FDI figures may be wrong, but it is a fact that it is in a pathetic state compared to before ![]() ..and you can keep the cash. The truth is not for sale. ![]()
|
Guestlander:At the expense of the economy? Lol. That is not healthy living. Maybe we have bigger thieves intend on looting the country dry. But to make the average Nigerian bear the full brunt while they 'comfortably' fight corruption is not the way to go. Frankly, we need a solid business brain + diplomatic combo to drive this country. Atiku/Obi has far more potential than Bubu/Osi |
stevo4them:You're talking nonsense. Were they told not to sing? Or is the anthem meant for the band or the voices of the people? I assume you have done your NYSC. The way you sang the Anthem and said the pledge during parades; was that in anyway related to the way you learnt it in secondary school? Did the way our footballers say the anthem on the pitch make any difference to the sincerity in their voices pledging allegiance to their motherland? Moderator said let's stand. Did he stand? For your information, the man in Agbada joined in towards the end. If you didn't watch the event, just admit it ![]() For you to say a man like Obi 'crammed', your name is sorry. That man has been solving economic problems before you made your first ever data subscription. ![]() |
spiritedtete:So, this was all he said from 7pm to after 9pm which translates to your earlier assumption that he was reeling off fake facts and figures all through the debate? If you're just pretending to be stup¡d, by jove, you are putting on a very convincing act ![]() In that brief quote, You just mentioned two distinct figures, and refuted only one. Or are you implying that Nigerian/ African stock market as a whole didn't lose up to 2 trillion in Naira in a year as well? |
Good. Follow this up with an apology. Nigeria is a call to serve, not to flaunt pride. And certainly not to blame others before you for adding another 4 years of misrule ![]() The fact still remains that FDI had fared better than it is currently.
|
Afamed:To an Igbo man, yes. Our motivation for honest living are the stories of our fathers before us, who by sheer determination, shrugged off all obstacles to get there ![]() That's why even people who don't own shops prosper still until they can afford theirs. A shop is just a site. The business are the buyers |
What is the biggest corruption fight Nigeria had ever become embroiled in? PDP? Of course not. It was repatriating Abacha's loot. This was kickstarted by Obasanjo and the economy didn't go into hibernation because of all that despite funds being repatriated all that while. No offence to all the figures Buhari's government tossed about as recovered proceeds from tackling corruption, but using this as an excuse for the economic standstill when the likes of Tinubu, Gandollar, Sylva and co still roam free is boring. If the funds are not benefitting Nigerians, it's as good as non-existent. |
DrGoodman:For all their noisemaking, they fail to see that America for all their vitrol towards business-man, Trump, have started cozying up to him, the reason coporate America are now raking in profits in record time. Peter Obi had governed a State, directed a giant Bank, and if all it took was seeing Nigeria as a shop, so be it. After all, the problem with Nigerian leaders now is that they don't see Nigeria as their personal problem. |
I believe common sense would dictate we are talking about making the country work for its citizens and all of this is centred around wealth creation ![]() |
spiritedtete:All through the night. I see: Here are some excerpts from him all through the night. Today, the total loans by the banks is 19 trillion and only 0.5% goes to your SMEs when in other countries it's about 20%.If I get you correctly, all of these are wrong? ![]() |
Niceman4u:The moderator did him a huge favour by diverting to other candidates, some of the critical questions that'ld have shown this government up. His greatest mistake to Osinbajo last night would have been to allow Obi rebut when he raised his hand up. |
It's easier to pick mistakes in the speech of a man actually making an effort to show how Nigeria can work again. I mean, what's there to goof on if all you had to do all night was blame it all on 16 years of PDP misrule even after lengthening it to 20 years of misrule? ![]() These are technical issues; but of course, faced with the problem, expect a man who has stats to back up everything he said to do a proper research. Unlike one who despite being there, still insists 90% of his countrymen feed on local rice. ![]() |
femi4:Are we also to assume that not singing the anthem is pardonable and not wrong? Did you notice Obi sang the anthem all the way through..possibly, the only person of the 5 who did. I'm certain others were more concerned with the pressure of being there then, hence losing consciousness of what was going on at that time. |
GavelSlam:Which State University?? Did I fail to mention that I was a student of Anambra State University then? @Cwaya Come hear what this guy is saying; that your department lost its accreditation while you were there o ![]() |
Sirjamo:I would have said No. But those people who also fought me, rejected my opinions and said No in 2012 are now paying higher than what was offered in 2012. So.. Yeah, maybe, if that is the sacrifice it would take our refineries to work. |
GavelSlam:Experience, they say, is the best teacher. While the beneficiaries then were gloating over landing the jobs, I calmly reminded them that even the government was struggling massively to comfortably pay those currently in that sector, choosing to woo them this way and that with incentives and a freehand to break work demands, while their basic salaries kept piling up as unpaid. It was obvious that it was geared towards 2015 elections. And may I be cursed if everything didn't turn out like I told them. While one keeps hoping for the best, there are instances when one must substitute HOPE for COMMON SENSE. You cannot close up shop to be chasing criminals. When that is not your reason for being alive ![]() |
Ovamboland:With the rate at which jobs are lost in the current administration; take a cue from NBS stats on unemployment, what or where do you expect those who lost their jobs to fit into in a country whose basic economic policy is to empower EFCC gbam!? Or you really believe they'll fold their hands and wait out the corruption fight? My brother, you do not lock up shop and chase criminals. It's common sense. Besides, just as it was about Buhari's personality then in 2015, not about the corrupt people that brought him into power, Obi had proven himself to be an economic juggernaut. It's not about PDP's 16 years of misrule. Obi cemeNted his name and fame within the same 16 years you criticize. The audience made that clear to Osinbajo when he kept boring them with that 16 years, instead of what they have done and will continue doing. |
EliteBeautyBlog:Lol.. Don't kid yourself for a moment. The basic economic reason there is a criminal mind in many, including the average Nigerians, is the lack of an enabling environment to thrive in whatever people set out to do. Don't you wonder why the rate of criminality increases as one approaches the festive seasons, when the economy takes a sort of partial break in Nigeria? |
