Politics / Re: See Shops At Singapore .there Is Levels To This Developed Country Thing.. by ObservantFellow: 9:38pm On Sep 06, 2018 |
deomelo: Suddenly you turn this inter-country economic analysis into a intra-country party debate Focus! Focus!! Focus!!! I replied to a post that tried to exonerate Nigeria from being responsible for her poor state, not a post exonerating a party from the country woes. IPOB? PDP? Perhaps you quoted the wrong fellow Sorry, I won't be dragged into that party/sect squabble. Keep it on Nigeria vs Singapore economy, Thank You. 2 Likes |

deomelo: So, You are trying to create an excuse for Nigeria's inability to grow. That, my friend, is pathetic. Give Singapore what you claim above and they will still succeed. You make it sound like life was a bed of roses for them from the start. See all our natural resources we've been unable to utilize in diversifying the country. The same crude of yesterday is still the sole provider. See the population you see as a curse is actually called manpower elsewhere. A good number of them educated but under-utilized. There is plan for only very few of them. What could have brought them into use is large scale industrialization. But even that is a pipe dream when you consider our infrastructures. Electricity so irregular and so expensive, roads so bad it's a risk even walking on them. So industry cannot survive. Please, don't make excuses for Nigeria. 2 Likes |

I remember having the option of buying a Samsung screen to replace that of a damaged Macbook as a cheaper alternative to buying Apple spare. 4 Likes |

Education / Re: What Is The Difference Between Evening Or Night? by ObservantFellow: 8:27pm On Aug 25, 2018 |
When the sun begins to set, evening is up. Some generally take it to be 4:00pm onwards. When the moon becomes clearly visible or the sky becomes darkened, that's night there. I guess the state of the sky tells us when evening expires and night takes over. |

Ironic that APC couldn't deliver all LGAs in Lagos State due to the areas like Ajeromi, Ojo, Festac, e.t.c. dominated by Igbos voting PDP, but are convinced of getting "at least 40% of the votes" in the South East/South South region where these people are from 7 Likes 1 Share |

One Saturday like that while the hungry boys in the hostel are waiting for the beans to become soft enough for the teeth to at least be able to grind it, they can just change profile pics and send these messages to one of their friends who would also change all their names on his contacts so that this can happen. Nobody is fooled 35 Likes 2 Shares

Politics / Re: Live Updates: Bauchi Senatorial By-Election (Official INEC results) by ObservantFellow: 3:29am On Aug 13, 2018 |
apolonius: I think what you meant to say is that the call for evidence was out of place. Your talk of assets and actors and support in the North have little in connection to our bone of contention, bros. As for cash inducement, pretending that it is not a mainstay of Nigerian politics/politicians is just you choosing to bark up the wrong tree. Maybe I am being simplistic. But I know my numbers. Just like pre-2015, only the results of 2019 can justify my assumptions |

apolonius: I posted it. I clearly remember responding to a comment saying APC would get 40% votes in the SE/SS region to which I responded that their best bet is 15% with cash inducements. And you pop up asking for evidence. Evidence of what? |

Oblang: It would be interesting to make me understand how my comment hinted that the emergence of APC brought vote buying about I prefer to believe I was addressing the unpopularity of APC in my region which is greatly tempered by vote buying. |
