GavelSlam: True. A similar scam was also enacted by Rochas pre-2015 election. Very few saw through it as the civil servants were the driving force behind it, shoving all their relations into it en masse. We all know how it died a natural death after achieving its aim. 2 Likes |

GavelSlam: I guess we heard a lot of PDP's 16 years of misrule and like the audience, got bored with it. It sold before coming into power; now it has lost its flavour. It was accepted as words because APC weren't in power then. Now, after four years, those words have failed woefully to translate into recognizable action by the average Nigerians; hence the reason it becomes boring for forcing more words down people's throats. Talk Focus, Talk Resourceful, Talk Obi's government. As for the corruption fight, save the bull crap for the birds. That's not selling anymore either 6 Likes 2 Shares |

GavelSlam: I happened to be domiciled at Anambra State during Obi's tenure and witnessed it first hand. So, I'm not in doubt of his eadership. It's those who haven't tasted that need to see That is enough truth right there. Undiluted, and certainly not social media induced. I am also in Nigeria during Buhari's tenure with Osinbajo as his vice. Oh boy! 6 Likes 3 Shares |

GavelSlam: Lets pretend that the serial criminals have no part in installing the current administration. From your submission of forged Facts and figures. You used the plural form. Aside the 'number of vehicles', I fail to see the other fact(s) he purportedly lied about. Meanwhile, our VP seem to believe the administration had been and is adding MWs to the national grid while the Minister of Power had clearly spelt out that it is not the administration's business. But then; the 16 years of PDP misrule is the selling point , such that the audience had to voice their displeasure at the boringness of it all. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

GavelSlam: Okay, let's assume he was lying and that there are indeed 12 million vehicles in Nigeria, how does that invalidate his point that subsidy should be removed? From his analysis.. 89 million people living in poverty is enough reason to quit subsidy and channel the funds into something more productive. How does 10 million more vehicles suddenly rate higher than emancipating the 89 million people? Instead, Osinbanjo was busy ranting about PDP 16 years of misrule. Did he every pause to think that it was within this same time that Peter Obi cemented his top managerial skills at the helm of affairs of Anambra State and Fidelity Bank? But then.. Obi's lie invalidates all he laid bare before Nigerians tonight..according to you. One thing remained clear though.. if I fail to deliver, Choose your leader. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

He out of his vast knowledge corrected the Moderator's insinuations and let him understand it's more about capital market and private investment to drive the economy. He's obviously more experienced and I'm sure the Moderator would benefit from the deeper insight 35 Likes 4 Shares |

The smile on Obi's face interpretes my opinion on the Osibanjo figures Just throwing untraceable figures around. As usual, it's not about 5 years like the Moderator said. It's about 16 years of PDP rule. Anything to avoid talking about their own achievements 3 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / How To Know Fake Campaign Crowds Pictures by ObservantFellow: 7:56pm On Dec 08, 2018 |
t's election time again. Our screens will be filled with this crowd and that crowd gathered by this politician and that politician. Don't let yourself be taken for a ride again. Download 'Search by Image' application available on Playstore Just select the image you wish to search for and see the 'real source' and date of production materialize. An example shown below is the picture used by a recent post here on Nairaland https://www.nairaland.com/4892633/breaking-buhari-cloned-down-kano to show how President Buhari shut down Kano State. A quick search using the application showed the picture was actually from a local football stadium during a game in Africa and has been around for at least two years. Indeed, like the title of the thread suggested, something was cloned. The picture used was cloned. 1. Fake Picture 2. Real Source 3. App in Playstore.

So, if Saraki wanted to disrupt Trademoni, he'll send his boys wearing his branded T-Shirts to announce to the world that he is behind it right? The originators of this news failed to consider two things: 1. If Saraki was that stup¡d to leave his fingerprints all over this case, He'ld have been nailed by now with the numerous cases brought up against him. 2. If Nigerians were that stup¡d, everyone would have bought that Jibrin's story. Knowing how devious Nigerian politicians can be, I find it far easier to believe that this is orchestrated by the APC 4 Likes 1 Share |

Whatever you're telling me, I'm certain you've rehearsed to perfection as it must be the umpteenth time you're reciting the poem. I understand you're doing your job. Your paymasters just failed to tell you 'hardworking, honest and sane' Nigerians are out of the target audience. Be it far from me to engage in this petty trade. Politics / Re: Bauchi People Will Vote Massively For PMB – Katagum by ObservantFellow: 7:22am On Dec 07, 2018 |
Buterflyle0:If I were talking, yeah, this would have made sense. Buhari isn't responsible for nothing. PDP set us on this course well before buhari came onboard. You see, that's one error in judgement made by people with zero understanding of what it takes to be a leader. Always looking to passing the buck and end up like Buhari did after over 3 years. If everyone had an excuse for why he/she is the way is, where is the need for effort when one can easily pass the buck? Man up to responsibilities; that's what I'll tell him. What I'll do. In fact if not that Buhari came onboard when he did, we would have ended up like Venezuela with the way PDP fraudulent elements were sucking away on the brèasts of Nigeria and looting our Commonwealth with impunity so much so that even in a time of plenty our external reserves fell to a shameful $27b.I love your use of 'would'. But since none of that was the case when power was handed over, lets move on to real facts and figures then and now; the target now is the average Nigerian and how they're living. If this governance is over the health of some foreign reserves at the expense of Nigerian lives, then we are on different thought paths, sorry. That was even when majorly one ineffectual buffoon was in their midst.Yeah. About a tenure ago. Now we have a mass gathering of thieves wanting to return to power. From Atiku to saraki to dino melaye, to bode George, etcThe first three you mentioned; we know how they helped put a certain leader in power using their corrupt tendencies. That's the exact reason that leader lined up forces with them; ascending to leadership through corrupt means. So you expect a sane Nigeria to see such a person as a saint? Even Okonjo Iweala openly wept for Nigeria over how PDP drained and left her and she declared that Buhari was not responsible for our state and that PDP should be held accountable. You mean the same Okonjo Iweala that kept distancing herself from all the 'legit information' your paymasters kept squealing? Perhaps you need to stick to the national tabloids more. They're less biased than the 'doused' ones your brain is currently filled with. Common sense may not be your strong side but you can still endeavour to work on that weakness of yoursLol, if how your current disposition is perceived by all and sundry is an example of Common Sense in action, Bro, I reject common sense for myself and my entire generation. Amen. |

TheGreenLand: Get real, man. If you were any of the above, you will not even get close to his twitter handle for any reason. You're hardworking and you believe in the fruits of your labour and you endorse a man who has no reasonable/realistic fruit to show despite wielding control (as we are led to believe) over millions of Nigerians? You're honest and despite knowing all about Buhari and his associates and affiliates from Day 1, you believe this man is the best choice of over 40+ candidates? You are sane and you're lining up behind a man (at the helms of affairs) responsible for the most tumultuous year known to the average Nigerian since democracy? English ain't our mother tongue but let's not abuse it; I think the real hardworking, honest and sane people in Nigeria are not lining up behind either Buhari or Atiku come 2019. I think they never did. I think you should stop rubbing ashes on their nature too. 3 Likes |

But despite Buhari's affiliation from Day 1 with Tinubu and his glowing endorsement of Gandollar amongst others, this is where you are: Peacecore: Oh, and by the way, why does the thief in Tinubu autocorrect on Nairaland and Atiku doesn't? mercyville: A lot of those is hinged on importation since Nigeria's industrial level isn't mature enough to being self-sufficient. Think for a moment if the ports in other states are active, all that transporters, marketers and manufacturers that source from Lagos would divert to closer alternatives. All those services that come with their presence too will be diversified, taking the pressure off Lagos; and sadly, the capital too. |

Lagos had been the commercial hub of Nigeria for over 20 years and will continue to hold a clear lead until there is a concrete plan by the FG to at least, create a fair playing ground for other regions; e.g wholeheartedly, test run other ports. Not to discredit the efforts of LASG to take full advantage of opportunities though 13 Likes |
