There is strength in symbiotic diversity , where every component unit strives to contribute its quota to the whole. This becomes WEAKNESS when some parts chose to PARASITICALLY affiliate with others, and refuse to develop their potentials, or be competitive in stating their place in the whole.

Misplaced priority.

The resistant mental disposition of the populace to COVID-19, and its seemingly ineffectual vaccination is what has been pushing the government to so vigorously pursue it despite the obvious deficiency in availability.

Yea, it makes them appear smart and working when they pursue this. You'll see them retreating with their tails between their legs should everyone suddenly decide to accept vaccination.

Then they would start coming up with diverse excuses about why the people should understand that vaccines don't come cheap and should be grateful for the limited available doses.

Obviously, people get to be so dumb once it comes to the things of the downbelow.

If a man is not staking his destiny for a few minutes of pleasure, a lady is staking her reputation for same.

This temptation to allow one's self to be recorded in the act is so great... But I am yet to see it having a Happy ending, especially when one of the parties (usually the lady) is so exposed while the other isn't.
