Hmmm... I think aside Lai Mohammed, Femi Adesina, Garba Shehu and less so Lauretta Onochie, others have been pretty invisible. But those ones up there have done such a terrible job that instead of making the citizens appreciate government efforts and interventions better, they have actually achieved the very opposite. Jonathan's attack lion, Doyin Okupe's job was to defend against and sometimes take the fight to the opposition, but Buhari's media team seem to be on an all-out attack not against the opposition, but against the citizenry with their insensitive and outrightly stupid comments, especially when silence would have been much better. And may I add that Garba Shehu has been the worst of the scum! |
Technically, she ain't a cheat; morally, she is. So all the talk about honesty and uprightness falls to the ground at that point. But, come to think of it, this is a reflection of how bad our country has regressed. And all because of poor leadership! |
Yea, you are on point, OP. But there's a little difference in both. The Jews originally owned the land. The Muslims invaded and BUILT OR CONVERTED their holiest site to theirs. Now, the Jews are powerful enough to assert themselves on their original property and Muslims are crying foul. Islam spread by the sword, but they cry loudest whenever they encounter the sword. |
Hmmm... If only we were as resolute in utilising power for the good of the people as we are in chasing after it, Africa would have been the place to be by now. |
This reminds me of the line in D'banj's song: "ori yato s' ori". Get well soon, guy. But has anyone considered the unusual privileged status of Pep Guardiola? Manchester United lost via penalties and everyone has been blaming Solksjaer for infantile tactics, despite the fact that his team played better. And it isn't like the team was betterof before him. But Man-City loses in open play and everyone is trying to make excuses for the manager. Overthinking kor, underthinking ni. This guy lost because his tactics were probably wrong just like every other manager whose team loses is accused. And let's not forget that he's lost to same team 3 consecutive times now.
|
Of what significance is this? How will it affect team play on the pitch? I see this as diversionary a d needlessly stupid. Good fans should enjoy the football and celebrate if they win or chuck it up if they lose. |
A short, but eventful reign... Who doesn't agree that it is best to leave when the ovation is at the loudest? Conte has proven to be a silent performer. |
While such jobs may only go to those who are qualified, such also have to be those with long legs and big ears. I mean guys with relatives and guarantors in high places... Maybe a requirement like: Candidate must provide two guarantors who MUST be NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVES or its equivalent... Where common man wan see dat kain thing? They COULD also come with some funny requirements like Candidate must provide a PASSPORT that has been stamped in 2 different countries... Blablabla. Na just my wild imagination at work o! |
Prediction fulfilled. Next! |
This is good |
This is the problem with everything in Nigeria. You see an interlocking-tiled road with 2 or 3 tiles displaced, but no one will attend to it until it becomes a crater. Then they will come up with their speeches and budget large sums for reconstruction. |
Er... Who else has noticed Obaseki's penchant for lividness? BEDC came calling and Obaseki was livid, APC came calling with their certificate brouhaha and Obaseki was livid. Oshiomhole tried to play God(though he would fail woefully) and Obaseki was livid... Now, after clinching the opposition ticket and coasting to victory, he's still livid that they are demanding their share of the agreement ![]() This livid you are sharing, diaris God o! |
Topmaike007:I get a bank loan to buy 70% of a company, then turn around to make the same company liable for the repayment. This automatically means that proper investment is stifled while the debt is being repaid, just as the holders of the remaining 30% are shortchanged since the liability automatically becomes for 'everyone'. |
This is simply funny, but then that's a different society from ours. But I think the Glazers haven't been good for the club. It is dubious purchasing a football club and piling 'your expenses' on the club. |
This is one funny country(at least you try to mask your tears with a smile), but laslas, we'll get there. This MIGHT be TOGETHER or PROBABLY APART, but how bad can it get before we get there? |
Lol |
I see |
We flogging them this time; at least that's what I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE. Choose your own... |
Tonto yaf suffered... In case you are wondering who, I'm talking about Tonto Dickson. About the topic: this is a strong view from the other side... |
Hmmm... This is obviously a deal gone bad. He wasn't caught in a crossfire, neither was it a case of mistaken identity. Sometimes, that quick and smart hustle ends up in premium tears... |
This Idris sef! Is SHE still a boy or HE has become a girl? Smh. |
I have observed that when the time for a split comes, couples tend to throw up a lot of shit, trying to smear the opposite person as much as possible... You tend to wonder if the problem between the duo above suddenly began after 4 kids. 4 Kids o! |
There was a country indeed! When parochial interests take the place of genuine national interests, this is what we get...when recharge card sellers become billionaires overnight because of their affiliation to certain darling daddies, this is what we get...when brazenly corrupt individuals and violent herdsmen get away with their crimes because they are affiliated somehow to power brokers, this is what we get. Selfishness institutionalised! |
Sounds good, but... This government has the knack for looking good on paper, but beyond that appears empty, clueless and wicked. We have heard the announcement, let's await the implementation... |
Some persons go into relationships with their hearts and heads intact, some others go in with their heart alive, but heads switched off. But there is yet the other group who go in without their hearts, but their heads switched on. Unfortunately, your bro falls in the second category and even more unfortunately, his gf falls in the last category. This means he will continue being the mumu until something probably devastating occurs. And the girl will NEVER change even if his heart smashes in a thousand pieces. That second category is probably the best way to love, but it CAN ONLY WORK if both parties are so affected. Unfortunately, your brother's isn't and you CAN DO NOTHING about it. |
Hmmm, this is serious. |
Wicked person indeed! I'm still trying to find the wickedness in all of these experiences. |
When the hunters are now hunted, what can the farmer do? This BODY ODOUR is so strong! May God help Nigeria. |
I won't be surprised if the authorities claim it was burnt by 'Yoruba Farmers' who were aggrieved by the exit of their Fulani partners. |
I honestly don't think he should be apologising for what he is apologising for... Our big men, politicians and small men too daily abuse the naira in parties and don't do us any apologies. He should instead be lamenting HOW every doubts about his TRUE position as a FALSE PROPHET have been removed. Why these sorcerers wouldn't own up to their true calling, but would rather hide under the garb of Christianity is irritatingly unappreciated. |
xjiggy:Edo person is more like it. I grew up in Benin, though. I salute you too, brother. |
