Sir I beg to differ. Swift has high speed unlimited internet at 25k a month. I have used severally.

I have gotten speeds of up to 10mbps.

I ask again, what do we really need 4k or 8k movies for when we are not oyibo?

Are you aware that 1080 movies are super clear not to talk of 2160?

If you observe, all my talks is geared towards non wastage of funds which this star link is all about.

What they offer is already offered by Swift and MTN at a far cheaper rate. Thanks.
Sweet Jesus! What kind of decimated mentality is this? Speak for yourself and yourself only.

Phones / Re: 120hz Refresh Rate by ObvslyNotBanana(m): 11:48am On Jun 20, 2022
A higher refresh rate does not improve or impact performance, it just makes the activities on your display smoother because it is displaying more objects (pictures) per second.

Some people have a hard time noticing the differences. For me, I notice the giant difference btw 60 and 90hz, and some people don't (but this I doubt because the difference is staggering), but I honestly cannot tell the difference btw 90 and 120hz (some people do).

Noticing the differences depends on your eye sensitivity. If you don't then your eyes aren't great sensitivity wise.

Sister,don't buy brand new chai.

Look for a vendor here on NL and buy US used.
Wayyyy better value for your money!
And yeah, consider a pixel 6 instead of 5 for that amount too. You'll get premium used p6 for that price.

I will personally vouch for those who can give you a good deal. Physically, not even online. We will meet face to face at your place of choosing sef.

Just don't buy a new pixel if it's not the pixel 6 or 6 pro!

Women and new carton phone eh lol.
Right!

He said its brand new. Do you still think its too expensive?
Oh, still not worth the price. Naira to dollar in a state of comatose so I understand why it's so expensive. For that price I'd rather settle for a US used Samsung S series.

Your previous post was made specifically cos of the review of the iPhone I made, so stop acting like it wasn't.
I also listed the phones I used in the past 3yrs, cos you boasted of using a device for 3yrs like it's an achievement so I had to put you in your place.

I've gone through your posts and you're way below dude, so stfu.
You're still a hungry young man struggling to survive that's why you've been saving up to get a pixel.
The only reason and I repeat only reason I bought this iPhone is for efootball mobile and nothing else.
Another reply and you continue to expose your poor comprehension skills.

I didn't boast about using my phone for 3 years. I only insinuated I'm using a phone with a 3-year-old premium chipset which runs the game well. If you actually have any bit of brain cells that could afford to help you comprehend a point I was trying to make, you'd have seen that I was trying to make a point about an old premium device still handling the game well as opposed to all the latest midrange devices that still struggle to play the game.

My reply to your post was actually aimed at knocking down your/the stereotype about android phones while passing a point (which flew over your sh!t for brains) that if you pay premium for android, you'll get the same premium performance of an iPhone, and this would have naturally brought down the argument about using an iPhone or an Android all boils down to personal preference.

You went through my profile and then called me a hungry man because I posted in another saying something isn't worth the price and gave a suggestion about a better deal. Again, your struggles with basic comprehension was shown.

This is an anonymous platform, and I don't have anything to prove to anybody, so, clearly not even to an ineffectual character who thinks using an iPhone would mask his feeling and reality of inadequacy before other men his age and below.

Seek help!

Why would you attack someone cos of his review of an iPhone he bought if not for inferiority complex.

I used an umudigi, Nokia and Samsung before getting the x3pro 12/256gb and the Samsung, Nokia and x3 pro played very well without lagging on 60fps and high settings. I however wanted something better as regards gaming that's why I asked the question I asked here which he answered.
Everything I said was just to show appreciation to the guy that advised me to go for the iPhone.

Don't think you can come here to insult people who've stayed on their lanes.
You brag about using a high end device like it's something special. I've not even used a phone for more than 9months in the past 5 yrs. The x3pro with me was bought in November and still looks brand new without any single fault.
The last time I used a transsion device was in 2015.

If you feel intimidated cos of my review on the iPhone that's your problem and not mine. Deal with your inferiority complex bro.

I clearly didn't insult you or anyone but, now, I will and I'm telling you shnt up and read my comment again! grin

If you or anyone reading this thread ever wondered why we write IELTS despite being an English-speaking county, here is an example. You comprehended my comment terribly!

If you actually read what I wrote, you would know I was talking about people (in general) who used mid-range and low-end devices and then made a giant leap to an iPhone that offers premium performance at premium price only to complain about the performance of their previous phone, and I clearly insinuated that if they paid the same premium for an Android device they'd get the same performance they got on an iPhone on a premium Android device.

You accused me of inferiority complex, then went ahead to list the number of phones you've used while bragging about the intervals you change your phone. If that isn't projecting, you should tell us what is! With your weird reply, you do not only sound cringe, you also clearly sound like someone who actually needed an iPhone to feel any bit adequacy in life, you absolute clwon should take your advice.

That's great news, thanks for the update. The iPhone always takes the cake when it comes to high end mobile gaming because of its awesome software and hardware optimization. To get that level of performance on an Android device, you would probably need at least 6GB of RAM and most likely a stock version of Android. Even with that there is no guarantee it will run the same way on devices with similar specs.
Or just get a high-end Android device in the same price category with the iPhone. A lot of people here clearly have midrange devices and expect luxury performance.

I play the game on high settings at 60fps on a 3-year-old SD 855+ and I've never encountered lag. If you want top performances, pay premium like iphone users who literally have no choice but pay premium then come here to waffle about enjoying their new iPhone when they literally switched from a midrange or potato Transsion device to an iPhone.

Phones / Re: Why RAM Clockspeed And Core Counts Are Useless Gaming Specs? by ObvslyNotBanana(m): 11:34am On Jun 18, 2022
naijasensei:

There is one major reason Apple's Bionic SoCs easily defeat the competition - the tight integration between Apple hardware and Apple software (iOS). Apple iOS was developed by Apple specifically for Bionic SoCs - so it has been fully optimised to take full advantage of the underlying hardware.
Android on the other hand is not optimised for any specific SoC, it is generic. Also, Android engineers don't have the time and the resources to tune or optimise Android to work perfectly well with every available SoC.
Another very important thing to note is that iPhones are by nature flagship devices, so all the components are usually flagship grade components. With Android devices, most times you see manufacturers mixing different grades of components together - which "might" ultimately affect optimised performance. A good analogy could be putting a V12 turbocharged engine in a small car like a Toyota Yaris. Ideally, you would have to change so many other things to ensure the engine is not underutilized in the vehicle.
Lol @ the bolded part, that's unfortunately not true anymore for a very, very long time now. The problem android is facing is the foundation of android! Android is a virtual machine running on Java. When you run a virtual machine, more resources are used, and that's why the battery life is less and resource use is more.

If anything, Google has done fantastically well to keep up with Apple who has everything run close to metal.

Microsoft supports anything and it does really well because it's not a virtual machine and it runs close to metal on any hardware, and I think the x86 platform is the reason for this btw.

Core counts does count. More cores means shared CPU load. It means less stress on the cpu which actually saves power and is more efficient.

If I remember correctly, the a8x in the iPad air 2 had a GPU with an extra core which performed better solely because of the extra core when compared to the a8 on the iPhone 6s. Remove that extra core and you have an iPhone 6s with a big screen.

However, core counts doesn't matter if the cpu isn't great.

Even the iPhone X would be better, but the iPhone 11 is miles ahead. Games and apps on iOS are usually very well optimized because of the close integration between the hardware and the software, and the fact that developers know the exact hardware they are developing for.
Only really experienced and good developers can spend the time and resources required to optimize apps and games on Android. Also, developers don't have access to all the available SoCs on Android - most developers just focus on Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs and call it a day.
If I was a developer, I'd call it a day too after optimizing for snapdragon. It's actually hard with a lot of SOCs on Android. For Apple, it's easy for developers who work with just the Apple CPUs because iterations are closely related.

Btw, coming from a former iPhone user, the iPhone is usually a hotplate that doesn't do well with heat. A13 upward are better. A12 and below easily throttle while gaming. I remember my iphone 7 easily throttling playing "Sims build it" and my then iPhone XS throttling playing Pes 21 especially when I used a black casing which trapped heat, so I played with my casing off. You can imagine the quirkiness!

I'm using a device that supports VoLTE and 5g.

Telling the public that VoLTE can be used on some Infinix phones and not Samsung S21 sounds unbelievable.
In my opinion I think it's weird that those those phones (Techno Phantom X, etc.) are supported and not the others. It's mind boggling! The question is: do the other phones have different implementation??
