I know that road very well that is river Kaduna. Along it's lower course it flow through Bida from where it empties into River Nigeria. River Kaduna originates from the Jos Plateau and flows through Kaduna, then through Shiroro, Zungeru and Bida into the River Niger

Unitary and Federal are just nomenclature. The Unitary system seeks to centralize the working units of the country especially the civil service to a central system, while the Federal system allows for the federating units to work for the actualization of the central objectives of the country. Both of them are similar it is just nomenclature. What we have is not federalism in any way or unitarian system as proposed by Ironsi what we have is a Quasi federal and Unitary system designed from Gowon's era down to what we have today.

I have always known you as a mischievous person, guy your plan to incite hate has failed. Zik never pushed for a referendum, it was a decision by the people of the region. The Willink's commision never saw the claims of marginalization as substantial and they even saw it as mischievous and borne out of envy and inferiority complex which i agree because if you ask those who claim they were marginalized that can they provide a documented case of marginalization, none of them can give you any cogent reply at all.

Oga stop being myopic i never denied that Ironsi didn't promulgate decree 34, what i am saying is that decree 34 did not abolish regions. The regions were called according to that decree document the collection of provinces. What Decree 34 did again was to centralize civil service that would allow for integration and similarity to an army central command structure.

Gowon was himself from a minority within a minority so he understood better hence couldn't but just make centrifugal decrees unlike Ironsi who made centripetal decrees because, being from a majority tribe, didn't care or feel concerned about the legitimate fears of the minorities.
