The development comes as MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano earlier reviewed their fuel pump price to between N739 and N865 per liter in the nation’s capital.
DAILY POST reports that NNPCL and other filling stations’ price cuts come after Dangote Refinery and depot owners slashed their ex-depot price to between N699 and N800.
Recall NNPCL; other filling stations reduced fuel on December 4 and 10, 2025, respectively.

4. Marriage Is Now High-Cost, High-Risk Dowries were once symbolic. Today, some families treat marriage negotiations like asset liquidation. Cost of living is brutal. Feeding yourself is hard enough add a spouse and children, and the math becomes scary.
5. Roles Are No Longer Clear Back then, roles were defined (right or wrong). Today, roles are negotiated and negotiation requires emotional intelligence most people were never taught. 7. Tolerance Levels Have Dropped People were more patient then sometimes too patient. Today, tolerance is low. Exit doors are wide open. One mistake and it’s “I deserve better.”
8. Sex Is No Longer a Scarce Resource Let’s not pretend. Intimacy once came mostly through marriage. That alone pushed commitment. Today, access is easy, so the incentive structure has changed.
So no, marriage isn’t dead. But the conditions that made it work effortlessly in the past are gone.
Marriage now requires:
A. Strategy B. Emotional maturity C. Financial realism D. Clear alignment and E. Brutal honesty
If you’re doing it blindly, you’re gambling.

Marriage only favors the children if the parents are rich. They have mummy and daddy available to manipulate and live comfortably however, the parents are useless if they are poor.
As a married man I don't really know what single life is in your 30s and 40s. I enjoyed single life till late 20s but at a point I started feeling like I need a permanent companion. The girls coming and going is just risky and unstable to my focused mind. I once felt lonely and had to drive out to club at 11pm.
Again, reality hit with children even if you got the right partner... You regret what you got yourself into but I am sure I wouldn't regret if I have constant flow of resources.
