I miss Yauri ! Kebbi state is a lovely place to be,from Birnin Kebbi to Argungu,Yelwa Yauri to Jega,Kaoje etc. The people are nice,friendly and highly accommodating. Food ?;very cheap ! I specifically miss Yelwa Yauri,a very lovely and peaceful town. I had a chance to work with some very wonderful Hausa/Fulani guys at the defunct NEPA Undertaken office, Abarishi road,Yauri. I can't forget my immediate Boss then Malam Umar,a peace loving,gentle and very down to earth fulani man and of course,all my Gees- Prince, Garba (Garus),Hamza,Abedeen,Abass (a very pleasant Yoruba guy from Igboho whose family members took me in as one of their own),etc. Even though I left Kebbi some twenty years ago,the memory lingers on !

I grew up in Argungu. As a Yoruba guy, I can relate.

I am a CCTV installer. I quite understand what you explained.... We always recommend a solar powered CCTV for clients that have no stable power supply, but the issue is that the cost is always above their budgets.

It is a sad truth.... I was ashamed of our rural areas when I visited some rural areas of Anambra state early this year.

The villages like kpor, Achina etc, near iklobia, are so full of mansions you can't imagine.

Well I actually asked someone working in mortuary I once went to for an installation about dead bodies, and he told me once they are dead there is nothing scary about them except there physical appearances.

I walked pass through bunch of dead bodies throughout my duration there. I saw them kirikiri, I even tried touching them. The only thing I felt was swollen head.

I have spent almost 15 years in Lagos and I clearly understand the mind of an average lagosian- rugged, yes lousy, proud, smart, intelligent, grateful, trustworthy etc. But in all, they hate to lose.

Asiwaju would hate to lose this fight, as well as the fight to restore Nigeria.

Forgive me if I posted in a wrong place. I am a man and straight, but those things you described are also mostly what turns us ( men) on.
