Answer 4: Yes, every pen name will have it's individual author page on the same Authorcentral account. Luckily, you don't need an author page for all your pen names because it's a pain in the ***. Only have for that pen name you cherish so much and ignore the rest.

On a niche you are only writing one or two books, you don't need an author page or author bio except you want to. It's a choice.

If i wrote another book and decide to enroll the first one on kindle select, free promo,so that it will see more views or readers and exposure to other of my works but the other work carries a different pen name as author will that make sense?

For being awake till now, I decided to check and noticed it's now 111k today. Sadly, it can't be 200k this month, but next month, it will make 300 — 500k.

So i uploaded my book today, Fonts,Times new roman,size 14,double spacing, word count above 3.7k, a little shy of 4k, but what i saw on the preview, i dont know if because i was using my phone, i was tired of endless editing and didn't really pay much attention but it seems its about 19pages,in which case shey its not supposed to be submitted as the stipulated minimum number of pages is 24?.....anyway, i am just happy i could do it all n submitted,thanks in no small measure to you.
Kept the orice at 99cents, my next book will definitely be better, this was to test the water and see if i could also publish, turns out the hard part is just the writing

I came in contact with this thread yesterday n i have finished reading from page 1 to the end, no, its nothing, you sire, and the other able contributors did all the work and i am really grateful something like this is here that we can reference to.
On the downside, this thread started since 2013 ,I am about 7years late, which I am not sure the kindle publishing even started then.....i did came late to the party, but I understand its bettsr late than never.....hopefully there are still Drinks left for latecomers.
About the phone thing,I know it will be real hardwork but its only temporary, till I can get some funds to repair my system.

pls,I just wrote a book and wanting to start publishing after all I have heard.
My question is....1: is it a must to add table of contents in my book?the book doesn't have too many pages, and for each points I surround the writeups on, they have few pages or not what I will consider as chapter worthy and I don't want to do that since it seems adding table of contents will make you add chapters too...i think.

2,I am using my phone from editing, typing, converting to epub,cover design, and hopefully publish....pending when I get a new system, can this work?

3,since in kindle they don't have back cover only front cover design, where does one write the about the author, is it compulsory?

You need to spend a day learning how to format a book to make it have more pages. I use trim size of 5.25 by 8. Also, word spacing, font size, and font name matter when trying to increase page count in paperback. Most people use Garamond or Times New Roman, but I don't — I use something different.

boss,is the trim size the same as paper size?I didn't see 5.25 by 8 but I saw 5.5*8.5,I used it,used New Roman font too,word spacing and font size settings seems not to be their on my Android Google doc,but when I finished,a book that I counted the traditional way over 3k words came down to 2,175 words and the pages,a meager 15....give more some tips bro
