So here you are with tribalism and regionalism

And still you think you are educated?

My friend, I'm not only educated but also enlightened and have traveled to number of countries. What is happening in lag right now is surprising. it seems lag is more important than NIgeria, I'm much surprised by the way igbos are involving themselves in sw politics. just wondering if they had channeled quarter of the effort in their respective states. then lag would not be a state where everyone will be running to. currently , The south east is facing crisis from bad governance to security issue, yet they aint making any effort to combat such , no one is speaking up , really surprising not even PO. buh lag is their problem. something the Hausas will never do despite their large numbers in lag. im sure no one will dare come to lag if its in such a bad shape.
Besides we are having gubernatorial election today, most people states need their votes more than lag as their states needs electing a better leader too.

A Man that lost woefully in his own Osun State, Lagos State, SE, SS, FCT Abuja, and also in ASO Rock!
Depending on North East Hausa/Fulani votes and Heavy INEC Rigging! sad

did he get 25% minimum in those regions? if yes, then he is the winner. mind you he lost Lagos by 10k votes only and he didn't lost woefully in any state, meanwhile, LP didn't get up to 25% minimum in the states that APC won and PDP also took their share. Besides the north wouldnt vote obi ,no way !
keep in mind, winning the election is not about winning the entire states, its al about meeting the requirement which Tinubu did .it would have been better if LP they had won with landslide

They are still embarking on research about Mr Peter Obi. The grace is too much. Just being paid to embark on fruitless research about the structureless one.

Obi issa big liar, its better to keep mute than to spew falsehood every time , it really reduces someone value. Obi doesnt need it, he is big already, he doesnt need validations cus it seems like that's what's he is after. how can we trust the presidency to someone that reel out falsehood on live television ?

The Portal was updating LIVE as Kenyans Voted 6 months ago

BUT in Nigeria, as soon as they realized that LP was winning, they immediately SHUT the portal.

In πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬, our Election cost was N400bn, yet Yahoodu Mahmud conspired with druggie and failed us.

TOTAL VOTE CAST 170K ! and you are comparing kenya with naija? 158bn is way too much for that election , Nigeria has larger population and land mass than kenya biko

If you pretend not to know what we passed through in the hands of Buhari with his incessant travel for medical check up to the extent that the whole country was complaining and even the yorubas were saying he should hand over to a young vibrant Osinbajo then may you and children know no peace

oga, the presidency is not about physical fitness, a president does need to be everywhere Tinubu campaigned in almost all states of federation. Presidency is about having good PLAN AND POLICIES that will be implemented that will benefits the masses. we have MINISTERS, GOVERNORS , SENATORS,LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHARMEN,MDA'S etc .All of them have role to play in delivering good governance.
A president that understands the administrative procedure, can work effectively with all people irrespective of their religion or tribe, a president that have track record of discovering and ultimate management of human resources will surely make a better difference. Someone with good knowledge of how economy can be effectively run and maintained. TINUBU can do all that. Most Buhari policies didn't help the common man. its gonna be different now. Stop cursing other people for voting the candidate of their choice. the deed has been done already. lets hope for the best.

[quote author=Zonefree post=121759505] Funny how Peter Obi got more votes in Lagos a supposed Yorubaland than in Imo, Abia, Ebonyi and Enugu. [

Lagos is only state in yoruba land that has the highest number of non indigenes outside their states, with igbo having the highest number state of over 22 milion people ,residence to people from all geopolitical zones. if only yoruba are living in lagos ,he wouldnt get much vote. Ever wonder why he didn't get enough votes in other yoruba states?

Oga forget zone. Lagos is a state. What part of lagos are you from?

OGA , I'm from Lagos too, lag is a Yoruba state as such any Yoruba man from any Yoruba state can become governor. Only the king can be from particular town as ancient time and that how it is till today. hence a man from osun can't be oba in lagos. we are all Yoruba first before creation of states.
Moreover , it is worthy to mention that before arrival of Europeans, yoruba speaking people were occupying the current south western states of Nigeria part of kogi, Cotonou and port novo. Europeans created borders, separated the people and colonized them differently.

I would not call agitation wasted efforts.
If people don't agitate the status quo will remain and the status quo is eating each and every one of us on a daily basis.

I encourage agitation. It is agitation that gave birth to this new obidient movement. It is agitation that will get us closer to having the conversations we ought to be having. I remember when there were no agitations, absolutely nothing was happening.

So please, I encourage agitations with meaningful outcomes. And we are not other countries, other countries that you mentioned have one or two things working in their favour, we don't have anything working for us, not one single thing except corruption is working in Nigeria. So comparing us to others is Apples to Oranges.
well you are right, hopefully we will get there one day. new nations need to emerge from this current contraption we are calling country. we cant make any meaningful progress with this current set up

YES YOU ARE RIGHT, but the onus fell on the people to make them do their responsibility. wasted efforts on unnecessary agitation all over the country should be directed at them. that is how it is done in other countries, the citizens always direct their anger on the law makers or parliament members as the case may be

You just contradicted yourself.

There is a reason why lawmakers are not even moving such an agenda? The reason is right before your very own eyes. Do we really elect our leaders in this country? Even when we manage to scale that hurdle, you still need 2/3 of the National Assembly for such to pass and last I checked alot of these lawmakers out there are not interested in such. Because they are direct beneficiaries of the current system.

It is the people that must unite to force this change. And again I say, the so-called Yoruba people that do not want Igbo people in Lagos can simply support Yoruba nation. When Yoruba nation is achieved, Igbos will have to leave for Biafra nation and your solution is achieved. But you see my friend, the same idiots who want Igbos to leave Lagos are the same fools who are perfectly okay with One Nigeria even if the One Nigeria continues to consume them and their families.

It does not matter that killer Fulani herdsmen continue to rampage through Southwest Nigeria, so far they can focus on Igbos and convince themselves and the fools around them that Igbos are the source of their problem, then it is okay.

But do not worry, eventually whether we all like it or not, Nigeria is not sustainable. You are seeing it before your very own eyes, inflation will continue to increase, corruption will continue to increase, things will continue to go bad, this is not a wish of mine, this is the reality on ground. At a point, the people themselves will rise up and go mad because the suffering will become unbearable. Only then will we see One Nigeria, the same entity setup by the British to fail, distintegrate.

you are right to a point, buh the law makers are still necessary to kick start the process, i expect agitation groups to prevail on the elites and the lawmakers to spur them to action. by leaving them out of it, nothing can be achieved.
