Safarigurl: anyway JJ is HOH so make dem pray make e no put up Tayo How TF did that midget win the HOH? if he only he came up against strong SADC reps, he'd have been long gone by now. |

Safarigurl: Kaycey Moore is also a wreck this year and he has been disowned by the Ghanaians I know.
Goldie is even better than Kaycee so why should I vote for that sneaky dude that could become a Keitta one day? Kaycee is a disgrace to West Africa LMAO!! Safari dey vex.. Do you know why I think you'd vote him? Apart from our bond with Ghana, it's because of future purposes. You know BBA won't end this season, so if our hope rests on Ghana in coming seasons, they might abandon us like we did to them (assuming we don't vote for KC). We don't severe brotherly bond cos of one show. It makes no sense Saf. Most importantly, from the comments I've read from Ghanaians on Twitter and FB, they prefer M'am Bea to KC; and KC has very low fans from all divides. So if KC is up, Ghanaians will vote him no matter how good or bad he is, and Nigerians will vote him too. Now this two votes can't/might not save him, ROA or other countries would have to vote him to save him. Now if we repay our loyalty, we've played our part and kept the bond going strong, so if KC is evicted, no one will blame us of betrayal. That way, our loyalty is not questioned and we can count on Ghanaians to come through for us if Tayo is up. If no Ghanaian is up, then we can vote for Wacky2, for strategizing. As long as KC is up, na him we should vote. I don't joke with loyalty. |

Safarigurl: Elikem got Zim because Ghana voted Pokello, they left Bassey for him. Ghanaians are the smart ones, we're the foolish ones Well Sierra Leone ain't Nigeria, so they haven't left us. If Ghanians leave us, then I go know what to talk of then. For Goldie's case, It can be pardoned seriously (I'm talking for me ALONE), because Goldie (RIP) was a total wreck in that house. When she left and it hit NL's FP, Nigerians were shedding tears of joy. |

Safarigurl: yes, but I get the feeling the FB peeps are more into actual voting. I think Zambia may just vote for Tayo irrespective. They feel slighted by SADC, SA especially. First Nhlanhla put up Macky2, then SA doesn't vote him and then both SA reps nominate him. Most of them are leaning towards Tayo. Still, I'll rather drink otapiapia than cast a vote for that KC Moore. It's still Macky2 for me Hmmm.. If Elikem could get Zim's vote, we might get Zam's vote too. And I checked FB now, Macky fans are so pissed. They might not align with SA from now onwards. Anyway, the truth is, if KC is up, Nigerians will vote him. That I'm damn sure. This is a bond, it's irreplaceable/unbreakable. |

Dannyxy: I am responsible for what i post, not what you understand, you know that right?
you were not among those I even had in mind when I wrote that post, I don't really fault those that use it, when they are angry, or having war of words, after all they are angry. my problem is with those that use it unnecessarily, I keep stressing the "unnecessarily"..
bro we are saying the same thing, all I am advocating for is moderation.
it's a movie, I have not watched the movie tho (I am not a movie freak), I am sure it's the story line, the message in the movie that kept them captivated, not the number of "fhucks" It's okay bro.. Na so we dey argue..that's why I love this thread. We fight, argue and make up. Some people even make love. |

Chiazalam1: Thanks Ochon. I don't see any point in making so much noise and engaging in unnecessary fights. Let Macky's people do that while we do ours quietly underground. Melvin's case should teach us a lesson already. Good morning everyone. Your head correct my bro/sis.. |

Forwetinnah: What Danny trying to say is such words dont make one look or sound responsible, especially at a certain age. See rappers like Jay and Kanye are changing their bytch slurs cause they're now fathers with daughters.( People are trying really hard to be politically correct so as not to wade off certain opportunities) Wolf of wall street is a movie..gates , zukerberg won't walk into a board room or conference shouting fhuck, niggah even if they watch such movies. I understand what he's saying.. But then this is NL, anything goes *thats if the mods allow it though* Hollywood is one machinery messing up the World big time Yeah, I understand it too, but he's over-exaggerating it. We live in Nigeria, be truthful to yourself, how many people have you seen walk up to you and say the fhuck word offline? None or one person I guess. That's my point. I say Nigga when I'm online, even "shiit", but offline, you'll never see me saying such at all. And I don't use it often online, I moderate it. And your Zukcerberg analogy is also my point. Me and Zuckerberg say "fhuck you" to each other in my Yacht in Italy, but once we're in our mulit-billion dollar co-oporations, we act all prim and proper. yeah, I'm cool like that. @Alexumeho, danke my brother. |
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by ochon: 9:19am On Oct 27, 2014 |
Dannyxy: thank you. we all have, even I have. just imagine if someone like mark zukerberg, aliko dangote enters the thread, and all they see is "fhucktard", "Bytch", "nigga" flying everywhere, they would conclude we are just a bunch of delinquent highschool kids. big brother needs alot of sponsorship from cooperate bodies for it to run, if such cooperate bodies enter a thread like this, and see the way vulgar words are been used unecessarily, they would draw the conclusion that the show is being followed by teenage delinquents, in such situations, do we think they will give their cooperate backing for the show?
all said and done, there should be moderation in whatever we do.
good morning. So Zuckerberg, Dangote, etc., don't watch AA-movies filled with Nigga and bytche word? So FB, Twitter, Instagram that these personalities use, ain't filled with "nigga", "fhuck" and "bytch" words? So reddit, Goal.com don't have those words spoken by even foreigners themselves? Now it comes to NL, the rules have changed? It might interest you to know that The Wolf Of Wallstreet had the highest mention of the "fhuck" word in any movie ever produced - between 509 and 569. And guess what? Bill Gates and Co watched it and probably nominated for Oscar Award. So what matters most is the moderation. Off NL, I don't use the F, N or B-word. Chillax abeg. |

Safarigurl: Ochon just visit twitter. Macky2 goons are annoying people on FB, Tayo's minions are annoying people on twitter LOL.. So the equation is balanced? But I think, people use Twitter more than FB these days so at the end of the day, Tayo's minions will have better bragging right. |

tunbebes: Hahahaha. Funny you. I'm good o. Tanx. I have a feeling Tayo can't win this year and I think its high time Naija peepz pull out of this BBA show. I read annoying comments on d bba page and I said to myself, this show is tearing Africa apart. I have a feeling Macky2 will be da 'hotshot' and believe me ko ni meaning. I have that feeling too. Like Biggie knows who he will choose at the end of the day. So I'm like fhuck it, I'm just gonna enjoy the show as I see it. Anyone wey wan win, make em win am. |

Safarigurl: if Tayo goes he goes. There will come a time when even Ghana's vote won't save Tayo. We've repaid Ghana with M'am Bea. Na only una dey vote KC (that's if you're even voting cuz you said you won't). It's this regionalism that got us here trying to keep up with 2 measly votes. This is a game, you must take risks. One day Tayo and Bea will be up, what will happen? Twas the same stewpid thing we did last year doing gumbody with WA and not even S/Leone had our backs later, change tactic for once. I'd rather risk Zambia, we've paid Ghana back. Anyway na analysis we dey do here sef, una no wan vote. People wey dey vote no go waste vote ontop KC. I'm tired of using the same old strategy that always backfires Okay o.. Na una dey vote.. Make una carry go.. I pray Ajani wins the moola sha.. |

spade: Uti and his friends created the page before he went into the house. He handed the temporary mod duties over to a friend called "Frank Em". O'Neal and Pokello created their own pages by themselves too... Maria Nepembe as well. However, a few housemates had their pages created by their stans, examples: Karen, Luclay and Munya. LOL.. Dude!! How do you know these things? Mehn, you dey try o. I for one think Tayo not having a fan page might be good for him. Let him and fans not have an OPEN strategy. Plus I know how SOME fanatic Nigerians can be overzealous and "overdo" things. Eg; Macky2 goons are all over the place making noise and fighting, and it's bad for Macky's image. But none of Tayo fans is acting that mad, rather they're putting their money where their mouth is and stocking up Tayo's award list. |
