Life's been hectic for me. Almost took a week off NL to get my sanity back. Would soon be gone after I'm done holding it down for my gurl, Vivly. Came online to vote for her.

You know I'd have been doing this voting and campaigning for ya too, right? Only if I was notified beforehand, I'd have stopped you from being a judge. embarassed How are ya BTW? I know you had a rough time during the "suicide" scandal era, but hey, you are fighter. Keep your shoulder up and flow seamlessly with life's tumultuous waves. wink

ROTFLMAO

It will most likely happen. It happened with Dillish, Pokello, Sheila. Who says it can't happen with Ellah when Tayo and mam Bea aren't up
I think y'all need to cut Naija some slack as regard some female HMs we've voted. People have different reasons why they vote a particular person. We ain't even up to 0.0000009% of Nigeria's population and so our opinions here don't count in the greater scheme of things.

Dillish played into Nigerians' hearts with her association with our country, and it's normal for us to like her. Same way Bassey loved our country and Nigerians paved way for him post-BBA with him visiting us, getting shot in our musician's music videos and getting a role in Tinsel. Bassey feels like a Nigerian to us. Some people didn't even know of Dillish's subtle jab at Melvin during the last week of The Chase, while some did and forgave her. People differs bro. Why do we love Trez now? Cos of his friendship with Tayo. So Dillish is no worse. If Melvin had won, we wouldn't have disliked Dillish. But it wasn't to be, let's move on from that.

Pokello got voted by Nigerians that liked her. I doubt we voted her for her beauty. She's not the prettiest in that house. She's the classiest and most bossy, and those that voted her might have voted her for it. We the threadmates, can scream, 'combinate' and 'permutate' all we like, but at the end of the day, we are not the entire Nigerian population. Ghana that voted Pokello over Bassey didn't get criticised over it, so why should we get criticised for voting Pokello? And if Dillish wasn't in the finals, I'm dead sure her country would've returned the favour just as Zim came through for Elikem at the finals. Our opinions here doesn't determine who'll get Naija votes. How many people out of the over 100 million Nigerians know about NL, let alone this thread?

As per Sheillah, I'm not shocked she got Nigerians' votes. Y'all don't know what others saw in her that we didn't see. I personally don't like her, but I can't complain if some hórny kiddo out there wants her to stay so he can keep watching her àss. People love people for different reasons. Many of y'all that are blaming them for voting Sheillah didn't even vote, and if y'all did, it still wouldn't have changed things.

After last season, I've learnt not to vote again. Anything can happen in that house and it won't faze me. Y'all are shouting I'm voting for Trez, by Sunday, don't be surprised when Macky2 wins Naija votes. grin

My advice: watch the show and enjoy it as you see it. We don't even know the "politics" that goes on behind the scenes. We might have voted Kaycee and Biggie changed it to Sheillah. You never can tell.

the matter tire me.

The one wey vex me na when e say "Ig Samantha can just wake up one morning and ask me how my night was, I'll walk around with a beg smile"....I just dey pity the bros, to think there are guys like Tayo in that house wey no even send the babe and JJ is here killing himself over her.

Life must be a b**ch for a midget dictator
I couldn't believe my ears when he said that. Is he oblivious of the fact that Africa are watching? No iota of shame. And yet you wonder why women like Tayo in that house. Because Tayo no send. JJ's got no game, no rules, no belief in himself. He's hinging his happiness on a chick that doesn't give a fùck about him. Or does he expect Sammy to spell it out for him? This season's men can fall hands sha. undecided

easyflex:
JJ is really obsessed with samantha. He said if samantha wakes up and gives him a hug and say Jay, hope u had a good night, then his day is made even if biggie asks him to clean the toilet and the whole house throughout that day .
That if samantha as much as ask him to just sleep under her bed even without pillow , that would make him the happiest guy in the house.

Now tell me JJ isn't obsessed.
Won't be surprised if this guy gets caught sniffing on samantha's stolen panties.
The nigga ain't even ashamed to loudly pray to God about Samantha. A woman that doesn't love him? Where the hell do Biggie pick these pussywhipped men from? huh

Funny it took Idris getting rejected, breaking Biggie's door and getting punished for him to grow up.

He's giving matured advice to JJ about Samantha. I think JJ should let Samantha go. All these bravado shows he's not over Sammy and Sammy no send am. He'd move the fùck on, life's too short to waste it thinking of one woman.

Perhaps, the interpretation of that rule eluded you. But take note of the following Key words: DELIBERATELY. INSULT. PROVOKE. FIGHT.

Anyways, this is the last post I'm gonna offer on this issue.

I also suggest you and forkadict put a lid on your argument. If you wanna address your issues, kindly use the pm. Arigato.
The last sentence ends with a "Nairaland member" so I still insist we all diss the HMs.

As per Fork, I'm waiting for him to stop his lies against me, as I hate false accusations.

I believe I have addressed this. But just in case you missed it, Ill benevolently explain again.

You accused @kgr28 of always (or most of the time) posting uncomplimentary comments about naija/naija housemates. And I said if that is all he wants to be posting, then its no biggie.
And I ask you, how is saying the truth about Kgr28 means I'm implying that he shouldn't express his himself as he wants?
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by ochon: 2:09pm On Nov 03, 2014
Briareos:
2. Don't abuse, bully, deliberately insult/provoke, fight, or wish harm to any Nairaland member.
Tayo is not a NLer member, so Kgr28 is right to criticise and cuss him. Goodluck Jonathan gets dissed all day, and people don't get banned for it. We insult other HMs too. So maybe you should close the thread or warn all of us, then.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by ochon: 2:07pm On Nov 03, 2014
forkadict:
This persona you are describing here is INCONSISTENT with @Ochon that has called out @kgr28 for expressing himself.
And this post makes no sense to me cos you are obviously not talking about me. You are yet to show me where I tried to stifle Kgr28's right to expression. So until then, this post is absolute fallacy to me.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by ochon: 2:04pm On Nov 03, 2014
forkadict:
Ok lemme straighten this up.

(1)You accused him of always (or most of the time) posting negative things about Naija/Naija housemates. And I said that if that is all he wants to keep posting, then its no Biggie.

(2)Do you understand now?
1. What I said about him is the TRUTH and his posts says it. He didn't deny it and he even said he hates Tayo which you tried to deny him his rights of expression. So Fork what are you really talking about by saying I am trying to deny him his rights of expression? So I shouldn't say the truth because of what? Cos You said so? huh And no, I never said it's a biggie if he keeps posting, so I don't get you please.

2. Nope, I don't understand why you accused me wrongly for making a TRUTHFUL OBSERVATION.

kgr28:
Dawg, you explained yourself !! dont bleed it man!
Oh please, enough of your deceit!! If I'm wrong, point it out with evidence(s)!! Stop siding him even though he's wrong.

Prove that I'm wrong. Show me anywhere in that post of mine that he quoted, where I said or implied you shouldn't keep expressing your hate for Tayo. Just point it out if you ain't a liar. He lies against me and when I'm calling him out, you can't say the truth, but I've defended you this morning.

Here's the post, you and fork should show me, I'm waiting.

ochon:
TBH, 99.9% of Kgr28's post are all about Tayo this (and Lilian when she's around), Tayo that. Nothing else. I don't know what's with the obsession. We try to update random HMs doings, but not Kgr28. Everything is about Tayo only. I've never seen this kind of obsession.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by ochon:
forkadict:
Oh dude PL-E-A-SE!

Freedom to express oneself DOEST NOT NECESSARILY MEAN that I am bound to agree with whatever you say. Does it @Ochon?
Then my post which is an OBSERVATION meant for FORWETINNAH should NEVER have been quoted by you for ANY WRONG reasons cos I didn't even DISAGREE with him or you, but pointed out a fact to Forwetinnah. So why did you quote me out of context then? huh
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by ochon: 1:44pm On Nov 03, 2014
safarigirl:
ochon abeg no dey explain yourself. E don do, e get some people wey you no suppose dey answer again sef. You get time
Nah, I'd have love to let this slide, but I hate to be lied upon. How can Fork just pull up fallacies about me from thin air and expect me to keep quiet about it? He's lying against me and I hate that. I didn't even quote Kgr28 in that post of mine he brought out, and yet he's saying I'm stopping Kgr28 from expressing himself. WTF? Can't I DISAGREE like he calls it? Or is it now DISAGREEMENT when it concerns only Fork? huh
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by ochon: 1:31pm On Nov 03, 2014
forkadict:
(1) Thanks for the compliment. Even tho, it was sarcastically put thru, Ill accept it nonetheless.

(2) I preached to you about allowing him (or anyone at that) to express himself. I reserve the right to agree or disagree with any such expressions. And I disagreed with the post in question. How is that an issue?

(3) I dont detrmine jack sheet. Like I said in (2) above and I repeat, anyone is free to express himself. The worst I can do is to disagree with such expressions which was what I did. Again, how is this an issue @Ochongonokohuh?

(4) LMAO! On saturday, I voiced concerns about a post I considered racist. The poster said I was correcting her. In other words, I was judging her. Now, I try to underscore freedom of expression, you say I'm judging. It has come to a point on NL where anytime I express a contrary opinion, it is called judging, Mr Know-it-all blah blah blah. Some even give me nicknames like O-neal, Alusa, Tayo etc. But guess what dude, I really dont give a fork!
This posts of yours should be directed to you ALONE, because I don't see why me DISAGREEING (as you called it) with him means I'm not allowing him to express himself, but when you do, it's the opposite. That to me is hypocrisy. I'm also DISAGREEING with his opinions, so no need for the false accusations. Danke!! smiley

Nope, you accused me wrongly, and I called you out. I don't know what you are talking about with me going ballistic over your post. If you accuse me wrongly, I have explain myself.

Pity, I cant quote multiple posts the same time. I would have proved what my reply was about to you.
I still insist, I NEVER said Kgr28 shouldn't express himself. I only made an OBSERVATION which is true and he knows it so didn't deny it.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by ochon: 1:06pm On Nov 03, 2014
Onge:
i dont understand why people have to hate each other bcz they are from different countries.
I call it stupidity, but sometimes, it's a tit-for-tat banter. Some SAns will see the diss at their country by Nigerians and return fire for fire. Same way some Nigerians will see the vile words on their country by SAns and return the shots, it's a vicious cycle. It's everywhere. My own prayers are "don't take it offline." That's why I prefer a Ghana vs Nigeria beefs, it ends online.

But me, I don't do those shíts. A human comes first for me before tribe/nationality/race etc. Though I'm biased, I try not to judge people for their country or tribe. I judge people based on who they are. My cousin is engaged to a SAn, and he tells me how angelic she is. What am i trying to say? It's that people differs. There are good and bad people everywhere. I don't get why people hate a whole country cos of some bad eggs. Beats my imagination.
