Faithyyyyy:
It's been almost a year here and I am glad to be an alumni. I applied for my study permit last year and got it within a month despite the pandemic and delays. I followed up rigorously, didn't defer my classes and started online classes because I was convinced it would favour me. I eventually travelled with my husband and son when resuming on campus and it was a great experience.

Today I am a proud graduate of University of Ottawa. Yes I finished my program in record time and I am over the moon.

My mission here is to give back more positively and encourage everyone on this journey who has faith and believes this is what they want to go for. It takes patience, research, hardwork and even financial commitment.

Let us keep faith and hope alive on this journey of the brave

This one sweet me o
I just dey smile all through, com begin dey laugh after.
So so happy for you.
May God keep on granting you your heart desires

Am sorry guy I have just been refused pls am so devastated right now I need someone to pls put me through ton what next to do thanks

Mojiwealth please don't be discouraged,I have this simple guide in life, that there's always a reason for everything and there's a limit to what we know and can understand.

What's the refusal reason.? First thing is to get your gcms note.
Your time is coming , please don't give up on your dream. Canada neva complete if you neva enter.

Good day my people.

Please we are in hot water o.

My sister applied to University of Calgary and got admitted for September 2021. Paid full fees and accommodation to support her visa application. She submitted her visa application on May 21st and has not heard back. GCMS notes show that eligibility has not even started. To avoid stories that touch, she opted not to start online in case her visa is not approved. She requested a deferral and the school has just today said no. Her options are: withdraw and re-apply later OR start online.

If she withdraws, won't the school notify IRCC and they will cancel her application? I can't even reach them to find out what happens to the fees.

If she starts online, and the visa is rejected, what happens?

We are looking for advice please and thank you.

I think you should inquire more about the school's policy concerning refund ;should there be a refusal after starting an online classes,(we don't pray for this though),what will happen. Their response should guide us

Hello guys...

Does IRCC cross check all Acceptance Letter from respective DLIs on each study permit application?

Yes they do, there's no point wasting precious time vetting an application without an admission. If they have concerns about your admission, they'll definitely request for an updated LOA

Please after rejection can I change my sponsor for reapplication?

Yes you can and according to the gurus, sponsorship is considered easier when it comes from an immediate family member: parents , siblings and spouse.

Others can sponsor you though, but you'll need more convincing proof.

Pls house! I am so worried right now!
Applied May 15
Done my Biometrics May 29
Done upfront July 23
Till now, not even heard anything from them, my eligibility review has not even started. I’m so worried right now.

I’m suppose to resume at CBU, Novascotia for this September(coolintake.
Can anyone pls give me clue on what’s going on? Pls!

So many people are rocking in this same boat, it's quite unfortunate though but there's nothing much man pikin fit do.

Best bet is to defer once your resumption is getting close but if you've got quite a strong faith, you can start your studies online.

Should starting online be considered, then you'll need to familiarize yourself with the school's policy and weigh your options out.

It will end in praise

Good morning everyone
please can someone give me a the step by step guide on how to cancel/withdraw an application on IRCC portal.
And also i need advise to know if there are negative effects this would have in future incase i want to reapply. Thanks

Better option don dey be that o, correct.

You can withdraw your application by raising a webform to that effect and it wont have any adverse effect in the future

Yes, you can begin your studies online while you await IRCC decision. It will not affect your PGWP application. You are qualified for PGWP even when you complete the fall semester outside Canada. If someone is denied, he is still qualified for PGWP if his next application is approved after completing one semester outside Canada. The period you spent studying online outside Canada will count towards your PGWP from the day you started studying after you submitted your first application. I hope you find my advice useful. What God cannot do does not exist.

Thanks for this clarification sir/ma, I think I've once mis-interpreted this to someone in the time past. But I think the grace to do that ends this year, unless it's extended, but I doubt it because so many institutions have resumed in-person classes.

With one year PGCert or PGDip, can one get 3 years work permit after graduation? If not, how many years is one entitled to?

8 - 12 months study earns you a years pgwp.
In other to be eligible for two or more yrs of pgwp you'll need to have studied for at least 16months.

Been a minute. Well done. Needed to be away for my mental health. There’s light at the end of the tunnel.

2nd notes I ordered came back blank, most of the info were redacted. So I’m waiting for the third notes due September 11. It’s unclear if I’m doing JR or reapplication till I see my notes.

So I got good news today while at it. My school, Royal Roads awarded me 5,000 cad aid, that’s like clearing my remaining tuition of 4900 having paid 28k already.

I believe it will help my next application as I only need to show living costs. With this development it’s almost as though I should do GIC and reapply but unless my consultant says so. I just told him of this new development and I’m waiting for his feedback.

What do you guys think?

God's got your best interest at heart, He's started the good work and by His grace we'll all celebrate with you.

If someone submits additional documents to ircc through webform, does if affect the persons application time?

It actually depends on the type of document forwarded, if it doesn't require verification then it shouldn't.

Hello Everyone,

Please does the Canadian embassy accept sponsor's bank statement as prove of funds or the money has to be in your own bank account?

Thanks Guys.

The account statement of your sponsor must be provided with enough proof of income.
That doesn't stop him/her from transferring money to your account or paying part of your tuition fee directly from his/account.

Please I need advice, i applied April 13th, I am to resume September 7th I received correspondence letter last week Friday since then I haven’t gotten any feedback, what do I do? Is this how long it takes for a feedback to come after correspondence letter

Normally it isn't expected to be more than 24hours but we've seen some exceptional cases which yours is one of them.

But one thing common to all the exceptional cases is the eventual PPR.
All you can do is raising webform.

Just go dey pack your bags, it's a done deal.

Hi Everyone, please we receive the following from the visa Office in regards my niece application. Please could someone tell me what could have gone wrong here and how to deal with it. Thank you.

Who helped with the visa application payment?

According to ircc o, there's a charge back (meaning the payment was cancelled)
So they expect re-payment of the fee in order to continue with the processing.

This shouldn't be taken lightly as it could result in 5yrs of ban.
The payment should be made as soon as possible and a letter of explanation stating what transpired should be sent to back it up.

It will end in praise

PPR alerts
You guys will have to forgive me I am sending this late. My PPR came out on August 10th, 2021 after one year. I applied for my study permit on August 9, 2020. On Dec 19th the embassy sent a mail requesting me to write IELTS and submit before 30days, which I did. Dec 19th was the last time I heard from them up until July 22nd, 2021, where I was told to submit my medicals.
The miracle that happened is this. I did my medical on August 4th which was on a Wednesday and the hospital told us it was going to be uploaded on Monday. I did not even check if it was uploaded or not all I got from the embassy the next morning was the passport request mail. I could not hold back my joy and tears. I mean I have waited this long for this. I was already done with the first year moving to the second year now.

What I did :
I sent a mail to the Parliament in Lethbridge and Calgary
I sent IRCC my transcripts, enrollment letters, and tuition receipts
I sent emails and web forms every time.
Lastly, I prayed and fasted. I can't count the number of fasting I did. I thank God it came out positively
I am so sorry this is coming late.

I pray for everyone still waiting that God who turned my waiting to testimony will do yours speedily. Amen
I learned a lot from you guys and I will forever be grateful for this platform.

This is quite emotional
A whole 365days,I can't imagine what you've been through, thank God it ended in praise.
Congratulationzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Good morning everyone, please I need some info.

1. If I defer my admission and I get an approval afterwards what would be the process to get another trv issued for 2022 or the one given will be valid till then?

2. For those who paid fees and the fees had to be refunded, after the normal deduction of the confirmation fee did you get the exact sum or there where some deductions due to exchange rate?

Thanks for in advance

PS: May 16th applicant, no NSE, upfront medical done since June, only background check is on. Have only a few days to register but can get full refund before September 17. (Weighing my options)

You don't need a new trv, all you'll need to do is update ircc with your new LOA

Good morning every body, please I seek an urgent advice.
I applied for study permit since may 6th.
And no decision yet.
My school just sent me a mail to register for classes or I will be automatically withdrawn from the program.
Please gurus, do you suggest I defer, my current job in Nigeria will not permit me to attend classes virtually, it will be too stressful for me.
Please your kindly advise on what to do.

Your best bet is deferral and hopefully before winter a positive response would have been made on your application.
It will end in praise.

If you've thoughtfully balanced all your options and concluded that withdrawal is the best, then raising a webform should do.
