I booked a flight with Royal Air Maroc Airways from Murtala Mohammed Airport Lagos to Sao Paulo Brazil with an onward confirmed ticket to Mexico through Avianca airline(i have a 6months Mexican tourist visa and was to transit within just 4 hours in Sao Paulo).
On the 23rd of March,I went to the airport to board with my ticket but to my utter dismay, I was denied boarding, Reason being that i needed a brazilian transit visa if i am to board with them(when initially I was informed I didn't need any transit visa before I paid for the ticket).As a result, I missed my flight on that 23rd March and had to pay my agent upto 400 USD for the rescheduling of the two flight tickets.
During this time, I went to the brazilian embassy to apply for the brazilian visa, but they gave me a letter with the signature of the brazilian consulate stating that I do not need a transit visa to transit through mexico even for upto 24 hours so far I am not leaving the airport.
I was happy and rescheduled my flight for this past monday (Easter monday) and went with the letter to the ALML officials who boards the air maroc flight and there again the letter from the brazilian consulate was thrown aside.And this time they showed me a message from the royal air maroc manager demanding that they should not board anyone without a brazil tourist visa, even if the person will transit through brazil for just an hour, and all these without a prior notice.
This have really caused me lots of damages and as it stands now, I swear to take them to court this coming week and will see to it they pay for the damages even I this is the last thing I did with my life

why not cancel the flight and get a refund and book another airline. Na only that airline they go Mexico? it may probably cost more, u are already spending more. so cancel, u will get a refund, they will only take administrative charges from ur moni. and go book another airline.

This story does not make any sense, Just as some one has said, for you to travel to US you must have a visa, and US usually gives 2 yrs visa (B1/B2). which means u can enter any part of US and move around as long as ur visa is valid. So why the hiding? and which other paper do u need now to move around the US. Please do not try to enter the US with illegal papers i doubt if u can anyway.

Maybe your sister is just telling you that bullshit story to see if you will be discouraged, bcus she probably can not/or does not want to help you travel to US. She can not be in US and be that ignorant!!

US embassy dont asked for invitation letter. it is not relevant in most cases for tourist visa.

Reapply with your family just for christmas holiday as you have said, and that you will use the opportunity to see your Nephew. you will be given. is your uncle an american citizen? it is better to use someone who is an american citizen as ur contact person in the US.

Please help me interpret these dreams.

First, i had a dream where i was trying to help a very hug guy to carry a bucket of water, inside it is bottle of water also, it was like a very big bucket with two handles, i was holding one he was holding one, we got to a point where it was like he could not continue, i had to carry it myself. the rest i can not really remember.

Secondly does eating in dream really bad. I had a dream where it was like my extended family, all in one table and others, like kind of celebration, but people where trying to get more of what i had to eat, but were they were not given, they were told it was finished.

i wonder why i had to eat in my dream. sometimes with my work colleagues, family, other people etc. and when i pray sometimes, i dream i vomit some things in my dreams. - this recurrent dreams.

Thirdly, i had this dream some days ago, it was like a lot of people were falling from a height, and there were a lot of sharp objects on the ground, I got to the ground but like trying to caution others of the sharp object, very one was injured some very seriously while i got only one sharp cut, with a piece of glass stuck to my skin, while others were going out crying, i saw someone treating somebody, so i waited that i will get treated before leaving, but noticed something strange with the injection they were giving, so i woke up without taking the injection, but the glass object was removed from my skin. - Very Strange

There are good hotels with cheaper rate, why spend 140k for 7 days, when u can get a good hotel in dubai for 50 dollars equivalent per night, which will amount to about 60k for the 7 days.

It beats me a times how marriage has become so broken and everyone trying to make it scientific. I paint another scenario, one which i am very conversant with.

My dad and mum both were working, but no formulae was used for anything (per say), Granted, my dad takes care of the MAIN responsibilities, and my mum the minor ones but these roles were easily interchangeable whenever the need arose.

Pops pays our fees, gives us some upkeep money, Mums usually gives us additional money for other frivolities (clothes, shoes.. just playing around money). In them of house hold stuff, my dad would usually buy the bulk food (bags of rice, beans, yam), but my mum takes care of most additives and fruits and the likes. Some months, moms wld go out and buy the bulk foods (looking back now, she is usually very excited when ever she does, maybe because of exra money she just made or just the joy of buying them) and other times my dad comes home with the food additives. Clothings, each buy for themselves and for one another. (mums real did like buying for my my dad tho).


DECISIONS WERE ALWAYS TAKEN TOGETHER, with few exceptions where apologies are made and efforts to make it up, like my dad buying my mum a gift to apologise or my mum preparing a special delicacy

WHAT IS MY POINT

As much as it might sound quite idealistic, but if my parents could do it for almost 50yrs, any sincere couple can. Just do things sincerely for one another, contribute when you can. and this includes even house chores. it surprises me when pple talk about whose responsibility it is to do what; the answer is.. its both yours, Just do them with joy and love.

ps: i remember when my dad started a building project, and all house hold purchases went to my mum, even our fees a times. But even then, She would contribute some to the building and He some to house. There was no clear cut lines.

This is what it should be. Thanks for sharing this. There should not be a model to marriage, the two have agreed to live same life where they share every thing they have, their bodies, their lives, and whatever they will have. if both are making money, both should see to the building of family in whatever way, financially, spiritually, socially and otherwise. when the children are coming, they both have the responsibility of raising them to be better people in the society. However the God made marriage to be a responsible union. So decisions should be made with regards to the overall well being of every member of the family.

Secondly your house has a parapet roofing design and you are using a stone coated roofing sheets, i know this because of your kingpost of 18ft.

Thirdly your house measurement is 54 ft by 33 ft because we measure wood in foot.

3. 200 pcs of 2x4x12
4. 450 pcs of 2x3x12 hardwood
5. 400 pcs of 2x3x12 semi hard wood,

am not sure why about 850 pcs of 2x3x12 semi hard and hardwood!!!!! pls i will appreciate ur advice.

It is a pity that even the so call perfect educationists in this thread condemning the op for pointing out the bad state of our public schools fail to understand that the op is just trying to say that our public schools are not doing well. Some are even saying the op should stop condemning the students. I think the major way of accessing the performance of the public schools is accessing the performance of their students. Na wah for una oh, so even with the fact that mentioned that my HND was evaluated to be equivalent to Bsc, u still asked that question. So what was the point evaulating my HND? So to spell it out. My HND was evaluated b4 I was admitted for the masters programe. You must have read also in this forum that in the US, HND is evaluated to be equivalent to BSC.
