Eteka1: Una no de tire? The army said they were there but fired into the air to scare away the protesters. Besides how come up till now we don't have the any known person that was killed there?
So ...what were they doing in the hospitals the next day, just after the shooting?! Why did the army say they were not there at first, then kept changing the story?! Are you trying to say that over 500 protesters lied that there was shooting?! Do you think prominent people like femi falana, Reno Omokri, e.t.c are lairs and should not be taken seriously?!
peacekante: There have been accusations and counter accusations about the lekki Shooting Incident. Both international TV stations have given their own report after their investigation with videos. Bellow is BBC report
Who do we believe is giving a true account of what happened at Lekki Toll Gate. Painfully, our local journalists couldn't carry out an investigative journalism like their foreign counterparts.
Jessepaid: Sometime ago in Aba I heard a drunken man missed his way home, went into a block of rented apartments, laid under the stairs and died there... All tenants packed out of the house the next morning before 7:30am.. If you help and she dies in the process of helping her...in Nigeria, police go call you murderer for trying to be a good Samaritan... Help people at a safe distance please and don't stick out your neck while trying to be a good person... Times are bad Nigeria is hell...
Exactly what I was telling someone now. The guy is a smart good Samaritan, he has done the best he can.
Nukilia: But the guy should have taken her to the hospital instead of looking for attention on social media...
It's like you have not been indicted for what you know nothing about?! The guy did his best by giving her water and milk, then coming to social media to announce it. It is good to help people in need, but your head needs to dey there. What if the matter reach police nko, you think police will listen to those "good Samaritan" story? What if she dies in the hospital? This is naija ooo....people do go to prison for what they absolutely know nothing about.
SweetHearted: I am from a family whose first born is a female. She is followed by 3 other females. I am the 5th child and the last born is also male.
When we were younger,my sisters use to beat us because they were older and stronger than us. The eldest sister will beat the 2nd child to the last child. The same with the 2nd child. She beat the 3rd to the last child.
So I was brought up under authoritative females.
This has affected me because I find it hard to accept a gentle lady.
I only feel attracted to authoritative and violent ladies.
I find such ladies so attractive that I have never and can never date a girl unless she is authoritative, stronger and more assertive than me.
I always want to be close to women that behave like my sisters when we were younger. My sisters loved me but they showed the love through inflicting of pains.
So I tend to associate a woman's violent behavior to love. I seem to have compassion on women who behave violently and authoritatively.
I only find it easy to be working under a woman. I can't lead but I want to be led by woman. I can only work in a place if the head is a woman.
The last place I worked as a teacher, the head of our department was a woman. She complained that I was so obedient and submissive to her that I never even try to challenge her in any of her decisions unlike other teachers. She doesn't like such men, according to her.
Please I want to know if there is any man that is like me out there.
Ever8090: I watched this boys movies when he was a child, now he is married while I am still single, no money and I don't want to bring a woman to suffer in my house the way my mum suffered in her husband's house..
Oh lord, pls do something not just for me alone but everyone in my type of situation
iriakanns: They don't kill this same snake in my village but my parents do kill it and I am yet to see any harm or calamity befall us like everyone thinks. The only thing we do is kill and secretly dispose the demon so village people will not spread our names for pleasure. That thing is demonic trust me.
Demonic you say. Same thing you don't understand, I laugh in Swahili
junglelion: Foolish people everywhere, if you serve a Snake as god, what does it hold for you.....you bring an innocent girl into your snake worship, and she starts have issues here and there, how do u solve her issues.
My dear flee with utmost speed, if your parents never served any god's like this one in rasing you up, then why go buy trouble for yourself, don't marry anyone with such low mentality of serving snake or any other gods, rubbish tradition......so angry with the sold called men talking trash.
No offense oo...but all I can see in this post is gullibility. Absolute gullibility. Make research about African tradition before go on to adverse any one on matters like this. Your comment is just too misleading.
Sixfeetbelle: But this snake stuff is not her culture.
So the problem here lies on the idiotic fiancé who refused to teach her about his culture and ascertain if she's afraid of snakes or not.
Nope. I blame the gal's mother. As an Igbo gal, she should be in a position to have the knowledge of both her culture and the culture of neighboring towns.
I don't even know why this should be a mystery to her, every dick and harry knows that nobody kills the sacred snakes in Idemili, same goes for monkeys in Awka and Akpugo, it goes on and on. Igbo tradition is very similar, it is very easy to comprehend. These things are the Gods and protectors of the land.
This gal just embarrassed her whole generation. U never wan marry. Please ladies, education without the knowledge of your culture is like a smartphone without an android OS. Take a break from Z World, make out time to understand how your cultures works
Necxs: A facebook user by the name Lapshak Bango commonly referred to as Omoseller, couldn’t hold his joy, as he unveils his classy wedding invitation card.
Omoseller is a graduate from the Federal College of Education Pankshin Plateau State. He is popular for going around selling his provisions in a Wheel-barrow. Even though many seem surprise as how an energetic young man who dresses well as shown in his facebook timeline will have the courage to make pushing-wheel barrow his way of earning, but to Omoseller, that is something he derives joy doing as long as he earns from it.
Righteousness89: So how does this Benefit Humanity? This is one of the Nonessential Discussions the devil has put out to lure and Confuse men and women in these Endtimes...
Sex this .. Sex that! Full package of Nonessential that has no benefit to anyone alive or dead..
We Live in times when many things are doing all they can to draw the attention of men, women, boys and girls so to cage them in things they cannot comprehend..
Don't be given to Nonessentials! Pursue what Really Matters! Eternity is a Personal Solo Race! Sort out yourself with JESUS and Live for Him alone.. Time is Running out...
WizzyVine: No, his sense of reasoning is justifiable.
Peter Obi was aware of the happenings in Awkuzu Sars during his tenure. The 40 murdered youths that were cast into the river happended under his gaze.
He knew James Nwafor so well, and was aware of his activities, but he looked the other way for obvious reasons.
Now, don't tell me he had no power over SARS as governor. Believe you me, if James Nwafor has killed any of Obi's sons, then you'll know he can do something.
He doesn't really need to have power over SARS to do something about the wrongs going on in his state. There are several things he could do as governor to stop the atrocities of those bloody guys, if he truly loved the people that voted him to power.
He has a lot to answer.
You made more sense, but let me quote the previous commenter "...Peter Obi the murderer must be made to answer for his crime against humanity. He should be put in handcuffs and made to wear white Isi Agu as a symbol of mourning for the victims of the unjust barbaric massacre that took place in AnambLa."
I insist that this is the most careless, irrelevant comment I have ever read since I joined this forum. There is nothing wrong with being questioned about the event, after all, it was under his watch; I was even surprised how the panel report was ignored after a panel of inquiry was put up.
I really need to hear what happened to that panel's report, because this is sooo unlike Obi that we all know.
But for some underaged fellow who is fortunate enough (or should I say unfortunate) to accuse someone of murder, and even went ahead to suggest incarceration, I find it unruly, foolish, and arrogant. He should be summoned, yes, but then this forum should be restricted for children under 18.
Octopusssy: Have you ever ordered a meal for the sake of its name, and not because you actually know what it is? Perhaps, yes, perhaps no. This Nigerian lady obviously knows what Spaghetti Bolognese is and ordered it in a Nigerian restaurant.
What they served her, however, beats the imagination...
She took to Twitter to call out the restaurant for serving her the 'Nigerian version' of Spaghetti Bolognese, an Italian dish.
