Holywizard:
I'm a young graduated that passed out from NYSC late last year and since then I've been engaging on a side job since luck has not been on my side to secure a job.
I've saved up to #200,000 since this year and I'd like to engage in a lucrative business but I have no business idea for now.
Please can someone help me suggest any business in Nigeria I can start up with such amount because I'm really out of suggestions.
Thanks.

Am sorry! I don't and cannot catch up with stupidity all in the name of modernization. In fact what we call modern civilization in Africa today is just sheer naivety. We abandoned our ways and still wonder what went wrong with our feature generation. Look around you, our politics for example, do you think it would have been like this had we stoke to our culture and grow while we make adjustments like every other country in Asia did.

Today politicians embezzle public funds and have the nerve to brandish it in our faces and nothing will happen. Is that the wonderful gift of modernization? Is that the almighty hope western education has for us? Trust me in Nigeria today marriage union is dead , the only reason majority still do so is cos they thing it's trendy thing; they don't even know why they do it, as for the ladies it is just the sex and the money (though they "never" agree to it). My point exactly is, the crack in our marriage union started when we traded our ways for theirs. And besides if sticking to originality means premitivity, then i rather get left behind!

AkataNYC:
Buddhist methods are the only time tested proven way. It involves segregating Male/Female, and high amounts of discipline instilled by a ritualized lifestyle in nature. Most importantly lack of stimulus and exposure except for the most Senior monks who eventually graduate and can interact with society without temptation. It takes decades of training to achieve this ability. There is no way for the average untrained Man to do this.

It is impossible to expect humans in regular city environments where Sex is everywhere on TV, Ads, Social media, etc. to conform to rules made 2000+ years ago.

So if you want to control the urge, join a buddhist monastery. Otherwise you are out of luck.
Sorry oo ma man... But it's kinda easy. If you want to control sex urge, get busy ! Go get a job. Think about your bills and I swear ur dick will crip inside its shell.

TheSaxophonist:

Cameroonian political parties have crisscrossed the country ahead of the presidential elections on Sunday. Except for one candidate, no one has been able to organize campaigns in the restive Anglophone regions.
Eight candidates representing a string of opposition parties are vying to oust 85-year-old incumbent President Paul Biya, who has ruled Cameroon since 1982 and is also seeking a seventh term.
But unrest in most parts of the country has triggered a serious refugee crisis, forcing thousands of residents to flee to neighboring Nigeria.
On Thursday, President Paul Biya’s campaign team came under gun fire as their convoy was driving top speed through the main highway into Buea, capital of the English-speaking southwest region.
Several supporters of the ruling CPDM party were injured in the gunfire exchange between government troops and armed separatists. Biya himself was not part of the Buea campaign convoy. One of Biya’s party official Gerald Ngalla told DW that “the president was worried that his presence in Buea could lead to further bloodshed.”
Credible elections “impossible”
Prince Ekosso, head of the United Socialist Democratic Party, believes the election will be flawed. “It is impossible for credible elections to take place in the northwest and the southwest,” Ekosso said.
Ekosso’s party, which had maintained a traditional support base in the south, could not hold any rally in the restive region, due to threats by the separatists, who have vowed to stop the elections in the Anglophone areas. “As a matter of fact, the towns and cities of the northwest and the southwest have been deserted,” Ekosso said.
He added that: “It’s already late now for anything to be done for free and fair elections to take place in the two regions.”
Opposition candidates have also been avoiding the restive regions too. FDP candidate Akere Muna was travelling through the English-speaking town of Mutengene and was chased by angry protesters. Four civilians were killed.
Last week, eight CPDM supporters who were planning a campaign rally in Bamenda were kidnapped from a hotel and have not been seen since then.

Around 246,000 people have been displaced in the southwest, according to the UN, while no estimate exists for the northwest region which is largely inaccessible to aid groups and journalists.
Some 25,000 others are sheltering in neighboring Nigeria, according to the UN. In the face of continuing clashes, a surge of troops is planned, according to a senior official.
Elecam has also said that some polling stations will be “relocated” in the Anglophone region which has traditionally been a reliable well of votes for the main opposition Social Democratic Front (SDF) whose candidate is Joshua Osih.
He has described the planned “relocations” in interviews as “an illegal measure” that could damage his chances.

Drock49:
Hi, everyone, am tobi from ogun state, a tall guy in his early twenties, I'm a stammerer from birth but recently i have been noticing that it's been getting worse, I can't talk anymore in public without the fear of embarrassing myself.

Everytime am on the net, searching for "How to stop Stammering" but up till now, no improvement, I have tried all method, but still no improvement, Each time I go out to buy something, I usually embarrass myself, sometimes I overhear people saying, is he deaf and dumb?

I have few friends I talk to regularly, they do understand but not everyone understands, it wasn't as bad as this early this year or in the middle of the year, I just can't explain, Usually I talk fast, but people advise me to calm down while talking but even though I try to calm down I still end up Stammering, am frustrated, nothing is working, its even leading me to suicidal thoughts, am just tired,

Ignore my typos, am just frustrated
Guy you u dy craze oo. Suicidal thought kee! See... I stutter myself, and mine is very visible but I come to find out that what I lack in speech i make up in other areas. Trust me right now there is absolutely nothing i cannot do, IT, politics, you name it. I realize dt my cognitive intellect performs faster and better than others so I built upon it, developed it into what I am today. According to your story you tried all you can but to no avail, just don't push it any further cos that's how you are; what you resist, persists! Forget about being the "flow rider" and build upon the current situation. A gal once teased me about my stuttering, and jokingly interrupted her with "so you me to stop my symbol of greatness"?...lol. But then that's the point, every unique thing is bound to be different. Look inwards find that which makes you stand then build upon it, develop it, only then you will understand the real meaning of uniqueness. I have seen two top bank managers who are chronic stammerers yet they are well respected in their field , you are what you make of yourself and that's exactly how people will be seeing. As for ladies trust me when you get back your self confidence, every other thing will follow. Welcome to the club.. Lol.

It's not a disease neither is it a curse my brother. You're unique and amazing just the way you are and I encourage you to love yourself first and never let anyone put you down. There'll be people who won't understand or who choose to display there ignorant; ignore them and just live your life happily as much as possible. You'll get better or learn to overcome that challenge by keep talking wherever and whenever possible not to keeping quite....so face the fear and learn to enjoy doing so. God is your strength.

Back then, there was no serious effort at combating Boko Haram . Jonathan and dasuki only took Boko Haram issue serious when it was obvious they would lose the election in February, 2015.

Those Christmas day bombings and Salah day bombings, when last did you hear of such from 2015 to date? Boko Haram has been decimated to the extent that they now fight the army as against facing civilians
Where were you wen Jonathan bought 99 units of T9 armoured tanks? And employed a South African based private security company to combat Boko Haram wen d military was highly infiltrated by the sect. By the way, who else killed more Boko Haram Fighters than Ihejirika? Hence his removal. When did you hear since the inception of this madness that over 100 "Nigerian soldiers were killed in a day (or 2days)?

Business › Re: Senate Hires Cybercrime Expert To Probe Banks, MMM by od501: 2:23pm On Sep 08, 2017
[quote author=Anstalk post=60234670]Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Information and Communication Technology and Cybercrime, Senator Foster Ogola, on Thursday said the upper chamber of the National Assembly would probe deposit money banks used for transactions between Nigerians and a ponzi scheme, Mavrodi Mondial Movement.

Ogola, while speaking at an interactive session between the committee and key players in the financial sector, said an international expert on cyberspace and banking crimes was already in the country on the invitation by the committee to expose all those involved in how MMM defrauded Nigerians.

He said, “We need to secure our cyberspace and financial sector against all forms of crimes or frauds as seen with the MMM operators who came, in collaboration with insiders, and expressly entered into the banking system, duped and bolted out.

“We have to stop anything that will defraud us, and the first step now is to expose all the banks involved in the MMM fraud.

“As a chartered fraud examiner, when the scam called MMM ponzi scheme came with its 30 per cent interest in 30 days early last year, I told people then that it was a fraud but many refused to listen and some of them later learnt their lessons in bitter ways.”

The lawmaker also announced that the Senate would soon come up with a legislation that would make digital education compulsory in both primary and secondary schools.

Ogola explained that the interactive session was to gather the inputs of all the stakeholders to the amendments that would soon be carried out on the Cybercrime Act.

The Central Bank of Nigeria and the other banks at the session identified creation of a centralised database anchored on the National Identity Card scheme as the best way to prevent cybercrime in the country.
