PoliticsRe: Senators Fight Over Grazing Land For Fulani Herdsmen by ODB1: 12:11pm On Jul 21, 2012
la furia: i quite understand and agree with d point from d southerners but i ask how do we address d frequent clashes btw farmers and cattle rearers. D southerners cant pretend not to want cattle meat thoug fish might do. D north dont hv enough grassland to cater for the cattles and goin to d southern part becomes a neccesity. Was thinkin d fulanis could be made 2 pay tax to d host community. If d bill gets thrown out, d fulanis wud continue wt d prblm becous no law says they cant graze anywhere. Unfortunately this nigeria, sentiment wont let pple see d merit and demerit of d bill.

Nairaland GeneralHow To Be An Adult by ODB1(op): 11:53am On Jul 21, 2012
I had to write this piece because of a very ugly trend I have just began to notice among the not-so Young people of Nigeria.

The dependencies are off the roof! A married man still gets help from his father.

Average age of graduates at around 27-30yrs? WTF? And the same slow bloomer can't get a job without daddy's help. Daddy even had to influence his/her NYSC posting.

You will think those that were schooled abroad will be better off but No. They still suckle from mummy for everything.

What is wrong with you people?

These dependent diaper generation are always limited to people with a upper-middle class and upper class background.
With all the help they have had in life they seem not able to start life solely on their own.
Why?
Emeka saved every penny he made serving his master, began his own business in a small shop which he slept in for years and when finally he saved enough to start a major distribution business, society will begin to wagg their tongues that he is into drugs, 419 and rituals?

You Niggaz better grow the phuck-up!

PoliticsRe: Who Increased The Font Size Of Nairaland? by ODB1: 11:29pm On Jul 18, 2012
Mai-suya:
I know the answer is the owner! But common on my android touch phone the font size increase makes sense. But using my iPad (which is what I use most) it's affecting my eyes and making me dizzy.

The cost outweighs the benefit. With the former smaller font size you can zoom in using any mobile device, but with this eye poppin font size I can't zoom out with my iPad and it's affecting my eyes. cry

I HAVE NOT BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP IN A VERY LOBG TIME.
I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT IT'S LIKE TO APPROACH A GIRL.
I DON'T KNOW WHEN I LOST IT AND IT SEEMS I'M LOOSING IT.
