I tried copying the image but seun's butt-hurt mods put a security lock on it.

Click on the image properties, check details, scroll down, you may see the original date the picture was made, the camera make and model, you may also see a GPS location for the image.
Post it here or better yet enter it on google earth.

I may need to get my skii-mask on.

There was palpable tension in Ikenne,Ogun State, yesterday, when the Oro cult imposed a 24-hour restriction of movement in the town in defiance of an order by Ogun State government.

The flagrant defiance occurred few hours after some Islamic leaders in the town were attacked by Oro cultists for reporting them to government over the planned restriction of movement.

Muslims in the area had petitioned the state government and other stakeholders in the state which led to a peace meeting held on Wednesday at the instance of the state governent.

At the end of the meeting, government ordered the Oro cult group in Ikenne to restrict their activities of their on-going annual festival to their own section of the town.

It further ordered the deployment of policemen in the town to enforce the order, but, when Sunday Vanguard visited the town yesterday, neither policemen nor any other security operatives were seen.

The whole town was deserted as doors and windows of houses in the town were firmly shut.
There was also no human and vehicular movement in the town except the adherents of the Oro cult group that were seen in some parts of the town dressed like females.

By tradition,it is forbiden for women to behold the Oro cult members while on procession.

It was gathered that several residents of the town who did not want to be caught up in the no-movement order imposed by the Oro cult group left the town on Friday for neighbouring communities.

In his reaction, the Chairman of Ikenne local government, Mr Tajudeen Salako, said the action of the group should not be seen as a defiance of the state government order.

He however appealed to the people of Ikenne to endure the restriction imposed by the Oro cult in the town.

When asked to comment on the attack on Muslims, Salako said he was aware that Oro cultists threatened Muslims, adding that it had been reported to the police.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Muyiwa Adejobi, however, said that the police were monitoring the situation in the town.

alaoeri: MEND can't do worst than BOKO HARAM.
Because MEND fights for justice. What is that satanic group, Boko Haram fighting for?

Nigerian Govt had no choice to support MEND, why? because MEND was the Niger-Delta. Young Men will head into the creeks and hit them hard and come back to settle amongst their people.
The militants will extort the oil coys and use that money to develop their communities.
The young men that made up that militia were equipped to fight the Nigerian Army which never had a clue or the logistics to tackle the militants due to terrain.
MEND enjoyed international support.
If they had declared a Nation, no one will oppose it and the Nigerian govt will not have the capacity to fight the secession.
Ask yourself this, if the Nigerian Army can't tackle a rag-tag assembly of jihadist in the open Savannah how could they be able to tackle a self funding, highly trained and co-ordinated militia which operated in the thick dense creeks?
The Nigerian Army suspended air operations in the Niger-Delta during the peek of the struggle because helis were dropping of the sky not from simple RPGs but hand-held Javelin Missiles.

Olaolufred:

JONATHAN SHOULD GO TO HELL.
MEND SHOULD START TO FIGHT FOR THE SOUTH SOUTH NATION. Right
HE WOULD RULE BETTER IN THAT NATION. Right
ENOUGH OF RELIANCE ON OIL MONEY. lie
SOUTH WEST CAN STAND ON HER OWN. I laff lie
NORTH CAN LIVE ON ITS OWN WITH RIGHT LEADERSHIP. wetin concern you, you secessionist
SOUTH SOUTH SHOULD GO LIVE ON THEIR REMAINING OIL. the oil that fed your ignorant a55
HOWEVER, NO ONE SHOULD USE SECTIONAL INTEREST TO THREATEN US IN THE FACE OF GOODLUCK'S "RETARDEENIC" PERFOMANCE.
So,
I posit that Jonathan should be Impeached, which really means I am tribalistic
Mend should fight for their own country under the presidency of Jona as its pioneer president. very true, you suprised me here
With that, they can control their oil 100%.
Then, we will see whether other regions would perish just because their dependency is not on crude oil. anarchy, despotic tinibu dynasty with cap in hand patrolling the corridors of the EU and UN.
I encourage and support anything that will cause a split of the Nation.

...sometimes, when Nigerians speak, one is not sure if it's out of ignorance or self deceit..! i was at the Lagos International Airport a few weeks ago and we where welcomed by an escalator that was out-of-service; Meanwhile, the smallest local airport in Austria is bigger and better equipped! get over yourselves people...whenever you come here to tell us how good your personal lives are when we are talking about Nigeria as a Nation holding the Olympics, y'all just inadvertently show the reason Nigeria is the way it is...common good is a non existent notion! When was the last time you passed Heathrow Airport in London, will Nigeria have a similar Airport in 50years or 100 years?

Brazil reportedly have moved 70 million Brazilians from poverty-stricken life to the middle class in the past 3 to 5 years alone and those people are now making $3000 a month and here y'all are comparing Nigeria with them? Is it not also a fact that the life expectancy of Somalia is higher than that of Nigeria??

The greed in Nigeria is so that men will ride or drive on the worst road on earth all the way from work or church to the front of the gate to their Mansion before they can then drive on a good road inside for 2 seconds to their front door and same thing they will do the next day and the next year...even when they have enough stolen money to build the last 2 kilometres of road leading to their mansion but will not do so to prevent another Nigerian from using it!!

Here is a novel idea people; now, forget for once how good you have it due to you or your father's stolen wealth...tell us how and why Nigeria will get the winning bid for the 2028 Olympics? Will there be a Nigeria in 2028? If yes, how and why do you have faith there will be one considering all that we see and know now??

While it may be very tempting to attack me at this point, just resist the temptation and simply respond to my questions...

...and have you ever asked yourselves if the reason most have it so bad in Nigeria is because you have it too too good? could there be a connection at all between how a few have it too too good and most having it so bad?? just a thought...

There are jobs everywhere in Africa why else will European experts be here?
What we need is job creation through entrepreneurship initiatives. The current individuals with money in this country have it stashed in off-shore accounts or invest in properties abroad. The really dumb ones are just acquiring properties. Almost all of our capital budget goes down the drain through capital flight.

What Africa and Nigeria especially needs, is investment not from outside but from within.
The only person doing this is Dangote.

ypzilanti: Conspiracy theorists are usually just one hamlet away from the Asylum.

And you sir, think the world is a better off place because we have a popularity contest where the candidates are pre-handpicked by the powers that be so that we never ever get to put some one who will actually get the job done?

Think again, power never came cheap and it always comes with blood stains.
