You know what is actually funny? I have been to Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland since then. Applied for a Schengen visa and got a year’s visa and yet Canada still haven’t worked on my application. It doesn’t even make sense cause I was going to attend my mums birthday and now the birthday has passed.😂

Application for Canada visa submitted since February this year. Application done from the uk. In fact I got a Schengen visa which I applied for recently and got it yet Canada still hasn’t responded to me. I am really disappointed in them. I really don’t care anymore cause I missed my mums birthday because of their visa delays.

There is virtually nothing that would make me be stupid enough to leave my job and stable life in the uk for Canada. I am fine with just visiting my sister and returning back to the uk that guarantees me stability and a means of income.

Submitted my application since February 19th, biometrics February 29th. I have not heard from them and I am not bothered because I don’t even think I am interested anymore but I just want to find out the outcome. I wanted to go for a holiday and honestly with everything that’s going on with regards to jobs availability in Canada, I would pick the uk a hundred times over Canada that is hard to get jobs nowadays even for genuine people. Mind you my elder sister is a citizen there and I have cousins scattered there who are schooling and have been complaining for a while now. The uk might be hard to get a stay, but the stability here is sure.

Hello Fam. Submitted my application for a tourist visa today. I had my hotel reservations and tour booking, but didn’t see anywhere I could upload it. Please is there a way to upload added documents after submitting and payment? I am studying in the uk and rounded up February 16th but my visa doesn’t run out till June. I don’t want to stay in canada as am doing very well here in 🇬🇧, my elder sister is a Canadian citizen, I want to surprise her by paying her a visit cause she has visited me twice since I got to the uk a year ago or so. I uploaded my work letter and bank statement, I still want to include my student ID, tour and hotel bookings. Please how do I go about it? Thanks.

Please can anyone help with how to book flight and hotel on hold for 24hrs without putting in your card details? It was quiet easy and doable before but now it’s not working even the normal airlines that allow you hold till you want to pay the next day have taken it off. Help please…

The process would be different when applying from the UK. Likely to be much simpler, search for applying for Canada visa in the UK.

Hi Fam. Please am planning on applying for a tourist visa to canada. I am currently a student in the uk and graduating in March of 2024. I want to apply as a student in January. What documents and requirements do I need to put together for the application. I have been refused a Canadian study permit once before and also got denied visa to the USA once. Been to Southafrica and Dubai severally. Came down to the uk to actually get my degree after I got refused study permit in both the USA and Canada. Love the uk and looking to further more after my current program but I just want to go to canada just to prove to them that I never had any intention of staying back in their country. Please I need someone to guide me with the documents required. Plus I got family in canada but I want to do the application on my own and give them a surprise when I get it.

Racism still exist in Germany, and it’s very much easier to integrate into the uk society than in Germany. I am not very sure of Netherlands though.

I work with an international organization in Nigeria. Left Canada few years back. And I will tell you now that while healthcare isn't really strong in Nigeria, you can have access to doctors, nurses and health centre easily more than you can in Canada. It's also cheap. Some people prefer to fly home for surgery because of the expense.

I'm also currently in Canada for a conference. Need I tell you I can't even wait to leave already by next week.

This is very true. I have a family friend who returned to Nigeria to have surgery for breast cancer and returned back abroad for follow up care. It’s been over 6years now and she is very fine. Health Care in Nigeria is affordable and cheap eventhough it’s not the best yet. But there are a lot of good private hospitals now doing very well eventhough it’s a bit out of reach for the common Nigerians.

Please who filled Form A for ECObank between October 29th and has been debited? ECObank doesn’t take more than a month but there is this person am helping through my cousin who is a manager with them, he hasn’t been debited yet and it’s been over 3weeks now. Who was debited by ECObank in a month here? Please specify.

Same day I posted this, I got my collection mail same evening. Visa was granted and decision was made in about a day. Thanks to everyone who supported me by sharing information when I needed it. It’s been a month or there about now. Thank you.

I got my visa about a month now, thanks to everyone that assisted me by sharing one info or the other. Consistency and honesty is key. Visa was so seamless that I got my application decided in a day even-though it was supposed to take 5days which was the time frame for priority.

Priority remains priority (5days I think) except when your application is not straightforward.

There was no crowd though. They attended to me in less than 30mins, my appointment was at 1pm but at 12pm they had already called me in. So I guess there was no crowd.

Submitted and biometrics at tls ikeja today. Priority service. How long does priority takes now? I heard it delays more than the stipulated five days…

Good evening all. So I printed my statement today for proof of funds, cause I was very confident as I had followed due process, my 28days matured yesterday. I submitted the POF but unknown to me, fidelity bank were having a bug and my statement was supposed to read September 12th to October 10th which is today, but I didn’t notice fidelity put todays date as october 14th which renders my statement useless. I got this email from the university of sunderland immigration compliance team and I am confused as at what to do cause my CAS would have definitely been issued today but for this mistake from fidelity. Please someone should advise and help out cause I don’t know how to respond.

It’s not a second one, apparently the one I thought I had initially uploaded was not uploaded properly. So they judged based on the one they received today and that was the one they accepted and marked as pass. I called them though and only thing they asked is when I had the refusal and I told them in 2012. That was all..

I don't think it is a problem. I have not uploaded my Timeline for my application but I will very soon.

I was refused in 2004 for family dependant visa and in April 2022 for visit visa. I was very worried but I uploaded the refusal letter for 2022 and passport page for dt of 2004. I got my CAS.
Please, don't let the representative confuse you. It's better to be truthful all through.

Back here to state that i passed the visa questionnaire by the university of sunderland. I stated the previous refusals I had and still passed it. It pays to stand by the truth. And am so happy I have never told a lie for once in other to obtain a visa from all the countries o have visited.

Okay thanks so much, have sent in applications to other schools though. Just in case, sunderland is notorious in ghosting students, I don’t know how long they take in refunding a deposit should In case CAS is not issued. I would need that money back to add up so I can pay another deposit. Teeside university is my back up option…. I don’t want to depend solely on sunderland eventhough I have paid the deposit and awaiting a response.
