Just negodu how Igboid singlehandedly whipped a tribe of over 20 million mercilessly.
Everything you lots boast of begins and ends with Lagos as if y'all are from Lagos. Dirty amala eating tribe! Always salivating over Igbo women...Pussies.

Let's go for this one,we've not really had a very good left back since Taye Taiwo was thrown into oblivion by the late stephen Keshi, his blessed memory. It just unfortunate none of our youth teams will be on parade 4 at least one and half year, and we can't cap him with SE.
All we can do is to open a line of contact with him assuring him of his future.

Taye Raiwo was performing below average. Leave Keshi out of this,my guy.

Guardiola promotes Adarabioyo to first team

Tosin Adarabioyo has been promoted to City's first team

 The defender is one of the five
youngsters recently promoted by Guardiola.

Manchester City Coach Pep Guardiola is understood to have promoted Nigerian defender
Tosin Adarabioyo fully to his first team.

The 18 year-old impressed the City Manager during pre-season training and according to
Manchester Evening News, the central defender is among the five youngsters added to the first
team roster.

At the moment, Adarabioyo’s only competitive appearance in the new season was against
Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League playoffs, where he enjoyed 30 minutes of
action at the Etihad Stadium as he came in as a replacement for John Stones.

After they(English fa.) lost Iweobi to Nigeria I don't think they will be stupid enough to let Adarabioyo slip off, unless he chose Nigeria over England. So,lets just leave these English kids alone.

Nice vision.

I am down with this. I hope we do not waste Amunike's U20 boys and Manu Garba's boys who failed to qualify for the U17. We need much talented players as possible.

I hope the NFF gives Manu Garba the next U20 job. So he can continue with his lads. Please, NFF, support the players. The way we abandoned them this time showed in the results.

Biko, keep Manu Garba out of this. The guy lacks tactical know-how. Amunike should continue,he is more equipped.

I was actually thinking about what becomes of our U20 since they didn't qualify for the youth world cup. I feel we should appoint a coach that will keep these guys together as the grow. I mean,we can still use these bunch for the next one.

Musa Muhammed is another curious case. I wonder why such a fine talent just like Ofoedu would be in Turkey of all places.
Turkey is for semi retired or retired players, that's why I called it footballers grave. Its a league for guys like John Utaka, Micheal Eneramo, Yobo, Van perise, Bruno Alves, etc
Any young and up coming player who finds himself in Turkey for more than 1year will be ruined.

Well, sometimes it's not actually easy to land a decent club in Europe especially when you are coming from the lowly rated Nigerian league. In Ofoedu's case , you can blame the man the Nigeria league doesn't pay not even enough to take care of their families, hence, when the opportunity to go abroad presents itself they jump on it.

Chikeluba Ofoedu is a player I expected to be a main stay in a decent team in one of the top 4 leagues in Europe, judging from what I saw of him in 2012.
It's hard to believe he is turning out for a team in the 2nd tier of Turkish football.
I hope he gets out of that footballers grave that is Turkey as quickly as possible. His talent deserves better recognition.

Danm Chikeluba Ofoedu, bundle of talent. Pacy, skillful and very dangerous in the 18 hard box. I I thought he was gonna be the next big thing from the local league. Played for Enugu Rangers before he left for Turkey.

The first Europeans here were the Portuguese then our people were going to Europe and the Americas, so they knew the Spanish but later on by the 17th, 18th century, the Germans, English, French and etc took over. Togo, Cameroon and etc were formerly held by Germans. Togo and Ghana went from the hands of the Oyo to essentially the Germans who were later driven out by the British as an aftermath of the two great wars.

"then our people were going to Europe and America's",when you write this you meant on slave ships, right ?

From my understanding the word Oyibo in Igbo land means a foreigner with a culture entirely different from the Igbo. The word doesn't necessarily mean a white man. When you eat garri with a spoon the Igbo calls you "Onye Oyibo". Onye ocha and Oy'bo are a little different.

HopeAtHand:

a brief history of Onitsha will enlighten you on the history of a people and the reality of today.

Onitsha Mmili was known as Ado N'Idu by
migrants who departed from the vicinity
of the Kingdom of Benin near the far
western portion of Igboland (near what is
now Agbor), after a violent dispute with
the Oba of Benin that can be tentatively
dated to the early 1500s.[4] Traveling
eastward through what is now Western
Igboland (and various towns also called
"Onitsha", for example Onicha-Ugbo,
"farmland-Onitsha". Folklore has it that,
Onitsha was founded by one of the sons
of Chima, the founder of Issele-Uku
kingdom in western Igboland. Chima, a
prince of the ancient Benin kingdom
emigrated, settled and founded now
known as Issele-Uku in Aniocha North
Local Government Area. The eldest son of
Chima eventually emigrated across the
Niger River to establish the Onitsha
community.
After their arrival on the east bank
(Onicha-mmili, "Onitsha-on-water", see
above), the community gradually became
a unitary kingdom, evolving from a loosely
organized group of "royal" villages to
encompass "non-royal" villages
comprising Igala settlers, and the native
Igbos to form a more centralized entity.[5]
Eze Aroli, was apparently the first
genuinely powerful Obi of Onitsha, the
ruler of the city.

Don't even go there with your ignorant Onicha example. Onicha were Igbo right from the beginning even before Ezechime left the Benin vicinity. There Onicha Ugbo,Onicha Olona and Issele Uku still speak Igbo till this day. You have no shame ,it must suck to be what you hate to be. Tufia!

Oshaniwa displaced Echiejile in the National team. Oshaniwa played better than Echiejile in the National team.

So there is a possibility he can play better than Echiejile if given his fair chance to prove himself.

If he can play better, our defence will be stronger.

Guy,Oshaniwa bribe you? So,if you were Gernot Rohr you will invite an inactive player ? Let's be honest,Oshaniwa is not a fantastic player. I still prefer Echiejile over him. I watched the Nigeria 's Tanzania game and you can see the experience and confidence in Echiejile. Hell,i will play Amuzie before Oshaniwa.

Not enough reason to not pay these people their entitlements. Government is continuum, hence everything left off by the previous government should be addressed by the current man. In Anambra case,Obi cleared off all the pension arrears owed by the state running into billions. Okorocha is an incompetent fat belly!

I remember when I queried Okorocha free education scheme and you people called me names. Okorocha approach to government was that of a philanthropy....A welfare mindset. He didn't understand the act of governance or how to engineer economic growth.
He thought governance was all about giving free education and free meal...Kind of a populist. The man doesn't understand what to do to stir economic growth...Heck,he grew up in the north.
Now the chicken has come home to roost.

CHIME did a lot in resurfacing the old Enugu township and very little in rural areas.
Obi,in the other hand tackled Anambra from all fronts and the results are there. People like Chukwuemeka Ike,Igwe of Ndikelionwu,Obi of Onicha,Emeka Anyaoku,Fashola,Okonjo Iweala, Ben Bruce and even organisations like Silverbird,UN,WHO has heaped encomiums on Obi for his marvelous work in Anambra and financial prudence.
