Ejaria plays as an attacking midfielder or B2B while Yahaya also plays as an attacking midfielder or winger on both sides. Kelechi Nwakali is CMF/AM.
You are right, Ejaria is very much ahead of them.
If Yahaya is considered as a Winger then Sheyi Ojo is far ahead of him.
Kelechi Nwakali needs to come out from Dutch second division before he is even considered for U20, and not to talk of U23 or Super Eagles.
National team is not waiting for anybody to grow or a place to promote preferred players ahead of the ones who worked hard to play in top leagues in Europe. This guy again. So,Nigeria doesn't invite players in second division to U20 and U23? You say some VERY strange things...smh 5 Likes |

Very disturbing news. Nice post. I hope Dele Alli changes his attitude towards his parents and siblings. He is acting like a spoilt child. His parents did not give him the kind of life he wanted, it is obvious they still love and care for him.
I hope he matures soon or he might regret his actions.
His model girl friend should serve as a bridge, not someone who widens the gap between Dele and his family.
Heart breaking for his mom to have his pictures all over her wall. Yet, such a child does not love her back.
Super post edi287 That boy is full of anger and bitterness. DANM! Thank God he is not playing for us. Dude got low self-esteem and hates his family because they are poor. He wish from wealthy family...Any,good riddance to bad rubbish. 1 Like |

The proposed friendly game between Nigeria and Egypt will see coach Gernot Rohr hand invitation to some players who have not been given a look in since he took over the team.
Although the list is expected to be dominated by players from the Nigeria Professonal Football League, some foreign base stars are lined up for the game as well.
Owngoalnigeria.com reliably gathered that Rohr has already concluded plans to call up Olarenwaju Kayode who has been doing very well for Austria Wien of Austria, while Gbolahan Salami who finished as top scorer for Finnish side KuPS is also been considered.
Goalkeeper David Nwokolor who keeps goal for Bosnian side Vitez will be called up by Rohr for the friendly game against Egypt on the 9th of January, while unconfirmed reports has it that Godfrey Obaboana could be called up as well.
Obaboana’s inclusion could depend on some many factors but with the Turkish league expected to be on break, he could be considered for a call-up to the team.

forgiveness: ESPN Settles Debate On Best Left Back On The Planet, Choose Alaba Ahead Of Barca, Real Madrid, Chelsea Stars
Published: November 15, 2016
Two players of Nigerian descent David Alaba and Dele Alli have been included in ESPN’s #FC10, a list of the top performers in every position across the pitch and the dugout.
Bayern Munich star Alaba was ranked the best left back in the world, beating the likes of Jordi Alba (Barcelona) Marcelo (Real Madrid), Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea), Patrice Evra (Juventus) and Danny Rose (Tottenham) to the accolade.
“The 24-year-old Austrian is arguably the archetypal modern player, ” ESPN wrote.
“Technically smooth on the ball and equally comfortable almost anywhere on the pitch, this season alone the Bayern Munich star has played in four different positions for club and country: left-back, defensive midfield, attacking midfield and forward,” ESPN wrote.
Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli featured in the top ten attacking midfielders on the planet. The former MK Dons wonderkid was ninth on the list .

We still have the likes of Iheanacho,Kelechi Nwakali,Osimhen,Isaac success ,Iwobi, Ndid,Nwobodo and tens of more waiting on the flank. We are fully stacked to the brim. 1 Like |

I don't think his submission is borne out of bias. Did u see mikel's miscue at the edge of the box. Look, Mikel is a delight to watch in DMF than Onazi. Very disciplined. In 2013, against Ivory coast, he was simply a joy to behold. Marking, intercepting & initiating attack with simple but delightful passes. Onazi is better off running up & down the channels. We don't need to be asking Mikel to choose his preferred position. I ignore his accusations because I hear emotion speaking. Who doesn't know the reason we play Mikel in the attacking MF is because of our lack of a proper attacking midfielder. Yes,his passes are great but dude is not an attacking midfielder. I hope Rohr takes a gamble and play Iwobi there. I can't wait for Kelechi Nwakali to mature. |

Iwobi made classic play in build-up, switching play and Drifting to combine with Mikel.
However, he had big challenge breaking into the Algerian defence. He once again got tired early. Still blending with the African weather. Iwobi was not a threat to the Algerians. |

Na so Ghana no go go World Cup? I know it's Racist Russia, but come on!
We need to keep our mandatory 3 spots in the World Cup, only Nigeria and Cote d'Ivoire are trying so far, if Ghana can't step up, Burkina Faso will have to edge out SA for that spot since Tunisia and Egypt are running their geoups.
West Africa must sha have our 3 World Cup reps
Nne,your head correct wella. Actually, I was going for 4 places for West Africa,Senegal,Nigeria,Ghana and Ivory Coast. I know Senegal will qualify but I fear for Ghana. |

I think some people got carried away by the goal he scored, just like some people think Iwobi was a class act yesterday...lol Honestly,Etebor's hard work yesterday saved our midfield. Mikel can put in a great performance but I didn't see it in that match. It was Etebor everywhere, spreading passes, tackling, blocking and running like a possesed man. |

Like I said they interchange that's y Etebo was the one sitting. I still say he should have kicked Mahrez. Interchanging is a bad idea when Onazi is involved. He need to sit still and dont move around, Etebor will do the roaming. Onazi is a lot like Seyi Olofinjana, he is not too good with the ball on his feet. |

There is a big misconception about Okocha. He was not selfish but a brilliant 10. I also had that concept too but it is wrong. Okocha was a good passer and passed regularly.
As for Mikel, he is in the best role that suits him. His intelligent choices while passing unlocks stubborn defences. I say he keeps his role. Okocha get often carried away around the 18yrd box. Mikel is not the answer to our attacking midfield problems. We can do better. Maybe it's time to consider Aluko. |

zoboizee: @OdenigboAroli, The Goodjoe & @The SuperNerd, you guys are spot on in yours analysis. *Iheanacho was impressive ysterdy. Our bench wont do better judging by their standard.#Fact. * Alex was very poor in the second half. As at 52nd mins ought to have been taken off. * @ goldfish80, Onazi is an indiscipline defensive midfielder so expect to see him in joining attack. David luis is another example. Personally, i will prefer mikel in that role while ndidi patner him & etebo ahead of them. * Victor moses loves to run at defenders. it is only a CF that is prepared for give & take passes with him that will enjoy him. Hardly the type crossing into the box. Guess we saw from the FKs he took. Nothing threatening. Is like expecting a delightful cross from Echiejile, u go dry finish for sun Its nice you brought up the issue about Mikel playing in his more comfortable holding midfield... Honestly,I don't fancy the guy as an attacking midfielder. It limits our potentials. To make it worse , he doesn't help in pressing. That annoys me. Nigga need to press like Iheanacho and Etebor. Secondly, about Victor Moses, dude is one of the most selfish player I have seen like Okocha used to be. Its good to run and dribble but the end product determines your quality. Those two goals were just due to poor defending from Algeria. Take away the two goals and you will find out he flopped. |

But, Moses showed improvement yesterday. There was a time Echiejile overlapped and passed Moses. I murmured. Moses will not see Echiejile. Not long after my murmur, Moses dropped the ball for Echiejile with a neat touch.
His team work play improved yesterday. He is not as selfish as he used to be. Little improvements but I imagine how dangerous the Super Eagles will be if only Moses can play with the team. Whenever he is around the 18yrd box the only thing in his mind is I wanna be the one to score . And this takes away from the team. 1 Like |

Moses is still amateurish when he plays as a winger and I can see why Conte moved him to RWB. Moses doesn't play with the team. He reminds me of when we were kinds... Just take the ball and run till you score...no looking around to see who is open for a pass. We should convert him to RWB . Take away his two goals and I will rate Iheanacho ahead of him. He needs to learn a simple thing called team work. 1 Like |

” Iheanacho was full of running and my defenders couldn’t handle him. The space he created by dragging them was what allowed Victor Moses the chance to score twice” He said at the post match conference.

tbaba1234: The attack looks like one that should get goals. Let us just be disciplined. Elderson needs to try his best to stop crosses. Slimani's major threat is in the air. And also hope Onazi doesn't draw a lot of fouls which will result to freekicks and you know danm well Algerians are experts in set pieces. And as soon as Mikel starts misplacing passes he should be substituted. |
