if he thinks fashola is a failure , well that is his view.

the fact remains that some areas in Lagos been totally neglected for so long that you wonder what ojuyobo did for 8yrs.
ppl need to realise that it will take years of careful planning to organise the sewage, drainage, etc.
FYI. the guy that supervised London drainage laboured for Gd 25 ys and died in the process as well.

Please if you are reading this, ask the retard (1) how come he is in possession of a "FG" registered number plate car despite not being a public servant and (2) why is he using an asset funded and provided by the federal government for party politics.

If he can not explain, which I don't expect him to be able, give him the beating of his life. Fck one of the bastards destroying Naija up.
Cripple him.
as usual, all guns blazing
PoliticsRe: Death Of A Nigerian Son in London, Again!! by oderemo(m): 10:02pm On Jul 05, 2010
^^/ most guys of my age did same thing took our kids to nija and bring them back afterward for the fact that if your kids is not residence for two years you fail to qualify for some uni. grants or else you end up paying the full wack.
the experiment will fail if the parents is not a one FAMILY. the kid will see a gap and try to exploit it.
you can pray all you like but most of us don't do the simple thing with our children. jogging , riding bike together, taking them to swimming pool/ dance lesson. piano/music class. an average Nigerian will laugh it off, but these are what matters to this kids.
PoliticsRe: Death Of A Nigerian Son in London, Again!! by oderemo(m): 9:49pm On Jul 05, 2010
When i have ma kids, they are going back to Naija once they hit 9/10. . . .
same thing we did with my son , sent him to nigeria for good 8yrs in a bording house, good school and all.
came back only 2yrs ago, thought he will be singing ayefele and 2face, but no its killa squard and gas gangs.
PoliticsRe: Death Of A Nigerian Son in London, Again!! by oderemo(m): 9:32pm On Jul 05, 2010
the big questions are, we as a community by which i mean the Nigerian community not failing our children.?
i have a 16yrs boy and live in south London, so i know what i am talking about.
there are numerous reasons why this is happenning some of which are self inflicted.
the break down of the family nucleus  has a very big factor to play in this.
the role Nigerian so called Mothers now play in the family setting has a role.
the unending 24/7 attitude to work play its own part.
we all need to look inward to solve these problems. you will block your ear hole if you listen to some of the music our kids listen to.
it took me a long time to reorient my son and most of his friends.it is doable but its hard work.

the idea is dead on arrival.
PoliticsRe: Say No To Sim Card Registration by oderemo(m): 8:57am On Jul 05, 2010
this is a question of common sense.it's left every vendor to know who they give their phones to.though not too feasible

Mr. bluetooth, don't contradict yarsef, remember when abacha boys go rounding up some Innocent internet cafes confiscating computers and what not then, does that stop guys doing yahoo in their papas bedroom ?.
lets campaign for our govt. to install proper and working institutions that will take care of our needs, not this stupid Sims reg.
i am totally against thing like this , this is not how to reduce crime, am sorry.
PoliticsRe: Say No To Sim Card Registration by oderemo(m): 8:27am On Jul 05, 2010
since such phone would be registered to vendor,i guess such person would be liable to any crime connected to the phone.
would you give your details to roadside fone vendor for a quick use.? i dont think so.
PoliticsRe: Say No To Sim Card Registration by oderemo(m): 8:14am On Jul 05, 2010
i will register all my Sims and willingly give my fingerprint and oda rights i have when i see the basics fundamentals working in my country.
i Will tell u this will stop no crime at all.
London has over 35,000 cameras in every nook and cranny, still hardly can anyone recognise a mugger captured by these cameras.
every wk stabbing and still camera can pick anyone out.
last election in anambra or so , inec woefully display inadequate voters register.
