Yes I'm from that ethnic extraction and it's pertinent to explore the historical background of my people.I'm setting this into perspective, and also grateful for the prior work of Dr. Eric Ugor and Mr. Omama Austine's research on the Yache/Yala indigenes.

Due to the enormous gap in time and the scarcity of trustworthy sources of knowledge, it was extremely difficult and complex to unravel the mystery (puzzle) surrounding the history of the ancient Yache nation from a contemporary perspective. This was brought about by the lack of written literature on the subject and the slow but steady disappearance of Yache Legends and scholars who were gifted with the wisdom to leave such a historical legacy for future generations. Let's revisit the past.
