PoliticsThe Economist Tips Buhari For Victory In 2019 Election by odiks(op): 3:26am On Dec 04, 2018
President Muhammadu Buhari will win next year’s election, The Economist has reported.

The respected magazine has also predicted that the opposition coalition may collapse before the general election.

But Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar yesterday said the forecast of the London-based magazine failed to meet the attributes of objectivity, balance and fairness.

According to The Economist in its latest edition, “The World in 2019”, there is little hope that Islamist insurgency in the Northeast will end.

In a country appraisal for Nigeria under “The world in numbers”, the magazine said: “The president, Muhammadu Buhari, will win re-election in February, as a new opposition coalition may collapse before the vote.

“Given the outlook for continuing political weakness, there is little prospect of progress in the fight against the Islamist insurgency in the north, nationalism in the oil-producing Delta and secessionism in the Biafra region.

“Market-based reforms will languish, holding back growth yet again.”

The magazine’s other predictions for Nigeria are: GDP growth (1.9%); GDP per head-$2, 410(PPP: $6,020); inflation (13.6%); Budget balance (5GDP) is -2.0 and population (201.0m).

In a separate report, the Foreign Correspondent of The Economist, Aman Rizvi, distanced himself from the official position of his magazine.

He said the election will be close, with the PDP having a slight edge.

Rizvi said: “Mr. Buhari’s approval ratings have languished below 50 % for most of 2018. Ominously, he has been hit by a wave of defections to the PDP.

“Desertions to the APC four years ago, by many of the same people, felled ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.

“Mr. Buhari’s electoral opponent in 2019, Atiku Abubakar, is one such double-turncoat. He is also a septuagenarian, billionaire businessman, former vice president and three-time presidential aspirant.

“With Mr. Abubakar distrusted for his wealth and opportunism, the election will be close. Its outcome will hinge on who arouses less apathy.

“So, who will win? Many Nigerians do not care. The back-and-forth floor-crossing has convinced them that the same people will be in charge either way. The PDP holds a slight edge, if only because expectations for Mr. Buhari were higher and his failure to meet them was more recent.”

But Atiku has rejected the latest prediction of The Economist.

A statement by the Special Assistant on Public Communication and Strategy to Atiku, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, said the forecast was a “poorly-executed hatchet job”.

Speaking with our correspondent, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Lanre Issa Onilu, said: “I will say that The Economist is just living up to its reputation. What the magazine has said is not new to most Nigerians; it is a report of the reality.

“I am not surprised that PDP did not find the report palatable. For a political party that has been living in denial, instead of addressing issues as copiously enumerated by The Economist, PDP has chosen to behave like a baby whose toy has just been taken away from him or her.

“PDP lacks credibility and any publication that is worthy of its own reputation will be taking a huge risk by making any attempt to dress PDP in a borrowed robe. PDP is a damaged product that has thrown up a discredited candidate. We can only commend The Economist.”

Asked if the 2019 presidential poll will be a close race, Onilu said: “We think if The Economist conducts further research, they will come to the conclusion we have already reached to the effect that next year’s presidential election is a no-contest.”

He dismissed insinuations that PDP might have a slight edge over APC.

“No. PDP cannot have a slight edge,” Onilu added.

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former vice-president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s bid to become Nigeria’s president might be much tougher than he envisages as governors elected on the platform of his party are the hurdles standing imposingly between him and his aspiration.

It goes without saying that since the momentum that greeted his emergence as the PDP candidate at the October 6, 2018 national convention, Atiku has not been able to rise above that feat the moment he settled for a former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, as his running mate.

Atiku was alleged to have struck a deal with some prominent South-east politicians, amongst them, the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and the Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, as likely running mate if they supported him to emerge the party’s candidate.

But in the wake of his emergence, he was accused of settling for Obi without as much consulting with other critical stakeholders in the party, particularly those of the South-east and South-south extractions, thus fuelling intense mistrust amongst a majority of them, who then chose to stay away from his presidential affair, because ‘he cannot be trusted’.

Presently, Atiku does not enjoy, in the real sense of it, the support of any of the South-east governors as they are still bitter over his preference for Obi, when some of them had put in so much to his election as the PDP candidate.

This is even the more difficult for these governors, who are believed to be daily facing intense lobby from the president’s men and their colleagues in the APC, a development believed to have given rise to their recent meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Villa.

For their personal and selfish reasons, sources claimed the PDP governors were no longer committed to the Atiku project and might be working to derail the PDP plan to seize power from the APC in next elections, through some of the impossible deals said to being dangled before them.

In the South-east, for instance, Atiku cannot boast of a genuine support from any of the governors, a position they took, neither because of him nor Obi, but because of the perceived lack of respect for them in the manner he settled for Obi.

In the South-south, there is simmering discontents amongst some of the governors too, while others are facing the same pressure of striking a deal with the APC government for Buhari’s election.

For example, the embattled Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel is said to be under intense pressure from the APC to cut a good deal with the presidency on Buhari’s election and also return without any harassment whatsoever.

Although the pressure may not be unconnected to a recent move by five lawmakers to impeach the governor, sources are of the view that the governor is beginning to consider the option given the challenges and harassment he currently faces.

In the same breath, his Rivers State counterpart, Nyesom Wike, who has always been alleged of considering a deal with the federal government, gave a subtle indication last week, when he resigned as the South-south coordinator of the Atiku campaign, alleging poor coordination of campaign activities, which according to him did not factor in comprehensive consultations.

Suffices it to reiterate that Wike never wanted Atiku to emerge as the party’s candidate in the first place, a move believed to be part of his long struck deal with the APC, that he would help facilitate the emergence of a weak candidate and in turn, be left to have smooth sail in his re-election bid, his resignation from the campaign council did not surprise many as such.

Inside sources also maintained that the governors’ laidback position to the Atiku project reflected recently during his turbaning as the Waziri of Adamawa, an occasion that coincided with his 72nd birthday and yet, all the PDP governors were absent.

“If you ever needed a reason to believe that these governors were working to derail and undermine this project, then, the occasion of Atiku’s turbaning was enough. The governors were conspicuously absent and it was deliberate. Reasons some of them gave later were an afterthought. They are not on the same page with him and are clearly running their own show,” a concerned PDP source said.

This, notwithstanding, considered the governors’ dilemma is a repeat of the Olusegun Obasanjo trick that was deployed to use against the South-west governors during the 2003 elections, when he struck a deal with them to return him and in turn, be returned too.

But apart from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, then Lagos State governor, who was believed to have been tipped off on the Obasanjo plan, other governors: Olusegun Osoba (Ogun), Niyi Adebayo (Ekiti), Lam Adesina (Oyo), Bisi Akande (Osun) and Adebayo Adefarati (Ondo), were all booted out of office, in what was then described as the PDP tsunami.

Coming from this background, the PDP governors are not oblivious of the fact that this is a familiar trick of the generals and since both Obasanjo and Buhari are generals, they are not certain they would not end up like some of the South-west governors of 2003, who went into the elections without circumspection.

Therefore, while Atiku continues to exude confidence that he would defeat Buhari in 2019, observers contend that those he actually banks on may not be as dependable as he thinks especially, when it appears that their understanding of the survival dynamics for the 2019 election may not be in sync with that of the PDP presidential candidate.

PoliticsConfusion As PDP Presidential Campaign Council Gets Eight Spokespersons by odiks(op): 4:37am On Dec 01, 2018
The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council on Friday named eight persons as its spokespersons.

A statement by the Director, Media and Publicity of the council, Mr.Kola Ologbondiyan, listed the spokespersons as Buba Galadima, Akin Osuntokun, Osita Chidoka, Senator Dino Melaye, Nnenna Ukeje, Segun Sowunmi, Kazeem Afegbua and Umar Sanni.

Our correspondent gathered that the eight names were arrived at after a heated argument among the members of the council, majority of whom were said to have what a source called “vested interests.”

It was learnt that the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation, which was in place before the ex-VP became the candidate of the party, had its preferred candidate for the position.

Also, the Director-General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Bukola Saraki, was also said to be insisting that some of his loyalists be given some juicy positions in the council.

At the maiden meeting of the council in Abuja on Friday, it was gathered that the council was unable to reach an amicable decision on the matter.

However, Saraki told journalists after the meeting that the council would release some names “soon.”

In the list that was later signed and released by Ologbondiyan, a former Minister of Youths and Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi was named as a member of Communication and Strategy unit.

Also named was a former Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke as Deputy Director-General, Operations while former presidential aspirant, Taminu Turaki, (SAN) was named as Deputy Director-General, Administration.

According to the statement, the other directorates include: Contact and Mobilisation, which is headed by the National Organising Secretary, Col. Austin Akobundu (retd.); Youth, Udeh Okoye; Women, Mariya Waziri; Finance, Abdullahi MaiBasira; Media and Publicity, Kola Ologbondiyan.

hand over to southern person out of 180 million of Nigerians he want to occupy the number one and number two position for 16 years.

He is among those Northern leaders that rebel against Pdp and Jonathan. he insisted that Jonathan must only do for one term to complete for south turn so why is him now greed. PoliticsAtiku Must Agree To One Tenure For Igbo's To Back Him - Ohaneze Youth Council by odiks(op): 6:57pm On Nov 27, 2018
Ohanaeze Youth Council on Tuesday urged the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP, to come clean on how many tenure he intends to run if elected in nest year’s general election.

The Youths in a statement by its Secretary General, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike said Mr Atiku’s six years master plan is suspicious as it seems like a ploy by the PDP candidate to go for a second tenure.

It argued that the Presidency is supposed to be given to the south east in 2023 adding that MR Atiku may not get South East’s votes if he does not make a pledge to go for only one tenure.

“OYC had studied dilligently the Six Year plan of Atiku Abubakar policy to make Nigeria work again as a good document but insists that Atiku must make a categorical Statement that he will only seek for one tenure to convince Ndigbo that his Six Year Policy Statement is not intention of seeking second term against 2023 Igbo Presidency Project” OYC said.

The group called on the people of south east geopolitical zone to put their house in order before next year’s general election to avoid what happened in 2003 election in south west where the opposition governors under the Alliance for Democracy, agreed to Vote for Obasanjo and later lost their Seats.

The Ohaneze Youths threatened to vote out any Governor in south east who betray Igbo course.

“As Igbo Watchdogs, we believe that irrespective of Our Support for South East Governors seeking 2nd term, we will vote out any Governor who betrayed the Igbo interest and Agenda which will be decided by January 2019, We call agitators to join hands for we to retire some Igbo politicians who had consistently betray our collective interest because of our apathy towards voting.

“OYC insists that South East and Igbo votes across the 36 States including Abuja will be the swinging votes that help who will emerge victorious in the 2019 Presidential election, and major contenders know about this reality.

“ OYC had studied diligently the Six Year plan of Atiku Abubakar policy to make Nigeria work again as a good document but insists that Atiku must make a categorical Statement that he will only seek for one tenure to convince Ndigbo that his Six Year Policy Statement is not intention of seeking second term against 2023 Igbo Presidency Project.

Politics2019: Southwest May Lose Out As Southsouth Lobbies PDP, Atiku For SGF Slot by odiks(op): 5:45am On Nov 26, 2018
Southsouth is lobbying for Secretary to the Government of the Federation( SGF) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

With the development, the Southwest, which is demanding the SGF’s seat, may lose out if PDP and Atiku bow to the Southsouth pressure.

Atiku has promised to concede the position to the Southwest as re-echoed recently by ex-Governor Gbenga Daniel, who was the Director-General of the now disbanded Atiku Campaign Organisation.

Some Southsouth leaders and ex-militant leaders in the Niger Delta are behind the lobbying.

They believe no other post could assuage their marginalisation than the SGF slot, The Nation learnt.

The leaders, especially the former Niger Delta warlords, are said to be insisting that they will not play second fiddle if PDP returns to power in 2019.

Their position is said to be the outcome of a recent meeting between some South-South opinion leaders and ex-militant coordinators.

A source, who spoke in confidence, said: “We have a fresh challenge at hand because the Southsouth wants the SGF slot in a move which may alter pre-primaries negotiation with the Southwest.

“This demand from the Southsouth is part of the intrigues surrounding the ongoing horse-trading in PDP. Every geopolitical zone is interested in what PDP and Atiku will offer it.

“So far, neither the PDP nor Atiku has been forthcoming on the positions to concede to the South-South.

“What the South-South leaders are saying is that they will not wait till after the election before knowing PDP’s and Atiku’s plans for their zone. And it is more complex because ex-militant leaders are collaborating with respected leaders from the Niger Delta in this latest agitation.”

Atiku’s camp, however, said it is too early to jostle for positions when a big battle is ahead.

One of Atiku’s strategists, Mr. Phrank Shuaibu, said: “The party has already done its zoning and that was why it’s presidential candidate came from the north. The candidate does not intend to alter the decision of the party unless the party decides otherwise.

“We regard these remarks as permissible conjectures, allowable agitations or gambits that can be used for negotiations, particularly now that it is becoming obvious by the day that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP is a clear favourite to win the 2019 presidential election.

“However, the truth of the matter remains that it is still early in the day to firmly allocate certain sensitive positions at the national level when the real battle ahead is to defeat and dismiss President Muhammadu Buhari and his APC Government at the centre.

“The discussions on the issue of power sharing and ethnic balancing are an evolving conversation and negotiation. Nothing is static or written in gold or even cast in stone.

“ Realistically, it is the party leadership that will have the final say on such matters and discussions are ongoing.”

Politics2019: We Must Reject Thieves And Hooligans - Obasanjo [full Statement] by odiks(op): 8:59am On Nov 21, 2018
Former president Olusegun Obasanjo has warned against electing thieves and hooligans as leaders.

He spoke in Abuja, yesterday, at the presentation of a book written by former President Goodluck Jonathan, titled ‘My Transition Hours.’

Obasanjo who was the chairman, said Jonathan’s decision to concede defeat in 2015, saved the country from crisis and called on him to continue to contribute his quota to national development.

He identified four seasons in the life of a democrats or politicians: Campaign to election, when you take up office and came in with high popularity and it starts to dwindle, immediately after you leave office you lose fairweather friends, when you have weathered the storm and look up again.

“The post-office life which you are now enjoying is one that we must crave for. It’s a life of continued service to humanity,” he told Jonathan who was marking his 61st birthday.

At the last general election, Jonathan had called President Muhammadu Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to concede defeat before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announces the final tally.

Obasanjo said past leaders, both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria, have residual responsibilities to continue to serve people and God.

“Your birthday is being celebrated with the launch of the book. I must congratulate you for a peaceful retirement. Let me welcome you to the camp of authors.

“You came in with high popularity; that is why you were able to win elections. If you had launched this book three years ago, you wouldn’t have mustered the kind of crowd you mustered today.

“You have enjoyed a life of continued service to the nation. Because of what God has made us, we have the residual responsibility to continue to be of service to your community, your state, Nigeria, west Africa, Africa and the world.

“There is still no substitute for democracy when all is said and done. It fosters peace. It builds and does not destroy. It unifies rather than divide. But all these can only happen if democracy is in the hands of democrats. If it is in the hands of thieves and hooligans, they can abuse and misuse it as weapon. We should ensure hooligans don’t get it.

“Nigeria has responsibilities beyond its borders: for West Africa, Africa and the black race over the world.

“Like Koroma said, Nigeria has responsibility beyond its borders, for west Africa, Africa and for the black race.

“Atimes, when we do things and we get worried, but like Butrus Ghali said, when he was asked where he will like to be if not Egypt, he said Nigeria. When asked why Nigeria of all places, he said, ‘You will wake up in Nigeria and it will be as if heaven will fall but before you go to bed, it will be cool and calm. Let’s continue to make it cool and calm.”

PoliticsNo Quick Fixes To Nigeria’s Challenges, Atiku Admits by odiks(op): 9:20am On Nov 20, 2018
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, says fixing Nigeria will require a lot of hard work with no quick fixes.

Atiku said this in the introduction he wrote in a document, “My document to get Nigeria working again.”

The 186-page document was made available to the public on Monday.

He said the document would steadily begin to restore a stronger, equitable, unprejudiced and more prosperous Nigeria.

Atiku said Nigeria needed a resilient and passionate leader that was ready to fight for the country.

He promised to take tough decisions needed to move Nigeria forward.

He said, “It is my pledge, driven by unstoppable dedication, to hit the ground running with these big tasks and to take bold steps towards making difficult decisions that will be good for Nigeria in future years.

“I know it is going to be a lot of hard work, with no quick fixes. It needs a leader that is resilient, disciplined and dedicated, and passionate about Nigeria to fight for it, and consistent enough to guide the country the rough times ahead.

“I pledge to remain focused and make the tough decisions needed to move the country forward.”

Atiku said successful governance necessitated political will and a unity of purpose stretching across the different regions of Nigeria.

As the nation goes on the historical journey in the next four years, the presidential candidate said the love to get Nigeria working again must bring all Nigerians together as a united nation.

“We can always fold our arms and say Nigeria is beyond saving, or we can take the bull by the horns with an optimism that Nigeria is worth saving and trusting that certainly glorious days lay ahead after the stormy years.

“I choose positivism, faith and confidence in our vision, the policy, and the political will to use this opportunity to get Nigeria working again,” Atiku added.

He alleged that the last three and a half years have been most daunting for Nigerians.

He claimed that all indices on socio-economic and political development have plummeted throwing over 70% of Nigerians into what he called unprecedented poverty, the like of which he said had never been seen before in the nation’s history.

Atiku said it was clear that those entrusted with the task of improving the lives of Nigerians were not up to the task.

Now that elections are approaching, the former Vice President said Nigerians would once again have the opportunity to assess the quality of those they wish to place in charge of governance in order to bring about the desired change to the dwindling fortunes of the country.

“The next four years will determine our future in the global race, whether we can regain our leadership role in world affairs, reverse the economic meltdown, reinstate a sense of belonging for everyone, regain our people’s trust to protect their lives and property and ensure sustained prosperity.

“Therefore, it has never been more imperative than now that Nigeria needs strong and purposeful governance as well as a capable leader to get the country working again.

“It is now imperative to provide Nigeria with formidable and sustainable governance that will enable our people to make the most of opportunities that the country presents,” he added.

Atiku was convinced that his policy to get Nigeria Working again, when implemented, would build a stronger nation equipped with jobs, opportunities, unity and holistic security for all.

He described the coming election as a deciding factor for Nigerians to enable them to choose the path of a restored equitable and prosperous Nigeria or to go down a slippery slope to further impoverishment.

He expressed the hope that Nigerians’ choice will be for a stronger Nigeria to emerge from ashes.

“I believe we must get Nigeria working again. If we don’t, the consequences will be disastrous,” he warned.

PoliticsAtiku Must Tell Us Who He’s Planning To Sell NNPC To - Bismarck Rewane by odiks(op):
Bismarck Rewane, the chief executive of Financial Derivative, says Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), must tell Nigerians, who he is planning to sell the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to.

The Atiku policy document, released on Monday, highlights that the presidential candidate is seeking partial privatisation of the NNPC, regarded as Nigeria’s cash cow.

Reacting to the specific idea of privatising the NNPC, Rewane said the idea is a noble one, but Atiku must tell Nigerians who he plans to sell to, else he may plunge the country into chronic capitalism.

“I agree that he (Atiku) should privatise, but selling to who?” Rewane said in his response to a question by Channels TV business editor, Boason Omofaye.

“You must not just say you are going to sell, you must tell us how, and to who?

“If you are going to have a voucher system like they have in India, where everybody in the public will have a voucher, then you can sell it.

“It becomes rather than government owned, it becomes Nigerian privately-owned, and part of it you want to internationalise like what Saudi Arabia is doing.

“But you see, it is a noble idea, but it stops short of the specifics, tell us who and who, and how you are going to ensure that it is not sold to your own cronies.

“One of the big risks of privatisation is the Russian model, where you have chronic capitalism. If you have businessmen, who are in government like Donald Trump, you want to make sure that both the government and the people are protected from conflicts of interest.”

ON THE NEXT LEVEL

Rewane said he likes the fact that the Buhari administration wants to take Nigeria to the next level, and that policy documents are out more than 100 days before elections.

The Associate of the Institute of Bankers, England and Wales, also said he likes what the president is saying about his plans, but the presidential candidates need to debate.

He said the biggest problem he sees in the next level document is that it has not come out to say ‘we would sell those refineries’, remove subsidies, so we have a free market economy.

He added that there is nothing wrong with having a billionaire or a poor man in the office of the president, that what Nigeria needs is a leader with a vision, leaders who can deal with structural rigidity.

He said neither the Atiku nor the Muhammadu Buhari programme speaks on how to increase Nigeria’s labour productivity, considering the population growth.

The financial analyst, with over 40 years experience, said Buhari, Atiku have shown us “the what” they will do, but not “the how” they would do it.

He said both teams must deal with labour productivity, inflation, current recessionary gap, unemployment, and Nigeria’s excruciating debt service burden.

“Yusuf Nuhu of the APC having satisfied all the requirements and scoring the highest number of votes is returned as the winner of the election,” he said.

The election was however marred by widespread voter apathy which led to low number of voters who participated in the by-election despite their presence at the polling booths.

Results in some polling units were also cancelled due to over voting after failure of card readers because the voters voted without proper accreditation.

PoliticsMiddle Belt Youths Declare Support For President Muhamadu Buhari Second Term Bid by odiks(op): 8:32pm On Nov 15, 2018
Barely 24 hours after leaders from eastern part of Nigeria declared their support for the candidature of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of the 2019 presidential election, the middle belt region has also stated its own position.

This is as the Middle Belt Youth Leaders Forum (MBYLF) has thrown its weight behind the second term ambition of President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to the forum, Buhari had done creditably in his more than three and a half years leadership sojourn in Nigeria.

The region claimed that before Buhari took over the mantle of leadership in 2015, “there was absolute total absence of sanity in our national as well as absence of sense of national pride.”

The National President of the group, Comrade Aaron Adah while addressing the press on Thursday, said the emergence of Buhari had since returned Nigeria to the path of glory.

He specifically said Buhari’s war over insurgency should earn him another term in office.

According to him, “Today, we can proudly say, in spite of the enormity of the challenges, the narrative has changed positively. There are visible signs of our regeneration under the Buhari Presidency. And there is cause to be excited and we are buoyed to also, embolden our leader, Mr. President by canvassing public support for his administration.

“In fairness to Nigerians and the people of our region, we cannot conscientiously say President Buhari has solved all the problems he inherited in Nigeria. He has not even met all the promises pledged to Nigerians when traversed this nation seeking our electoral mandate in 2014/2015.

“Nevertheless, we now see a leadership of Nigeria determined and, committed, which keeps striving every day to improve our lives as citizens of this great country. We see a leader and a government which are more interested in lifting us from the doldrums, than consolidating on the degeneration it met, wrapped in self-serving tales.

“Let’s together look at a few areas the Buhari Presidency has impacted on Nigeria so significantly. It is necessary because these are partisan times and Nigeria is facing another general elections in the next few months to enthrone fresh batch of elected leaders.

“The terrorists brought pains, sorrows, agonies and despair, through their unchallenged atrocious acts and other heinous crimes, resulting into deaths, abductions, violent captivity of whole communities in the Northeast; unchallenged attacks on security formations and erection of serfdoms for hostages, where they held Nigerians in dehumanizing conditions in secret hideouts within our territories.

“We are proud and any other citizen of Nigeria should also express happiness that under Buhari, the 24 LGAs Boko Haram insurgents captured totally and another six LGAs, the insurgents had partial control, and established their peculiar “ Islamic Caliphate, “ with foisted flags have been rescued by Nigerian troops under the guardian ambience of the COAS and Leader of the counter-insurgency operations in Nigeria, Lt. Gen. TY Buratai.”

Funny APC Govt
See your life? Governors took a position across party lines instead of blaming the governors you are shifting the blame to APC. Besides if you must know the report said it is only an APC GOVERNOR that can pay even Rivers cannot.

“Apart from Lagos, even Rivers cannot afford to pay. So, we have been crying out about this since 2011 but no one cared to listen.
