Thank you very much!at last one right thinking nigerian student,the others brains seem to be in reverse mode.To them ASUU is wicked to demand for a complete restructuring in the nigeria university sector.
They keep screaming they want to go back to school when they are still going to resume in the same shitty schools with dilapitated structures,outdated equipments,congested classrooms and so many other ills in their various universities.
All you educated illiterates should get this into your dull and rusty brains,ASUU is not fighting for increament in lecturers salaries but for the betterment of the nigerian education system,No nigerian university is among the top 5000 universities in the world!!that shows the depth at which the standard of education has fallen in this country.So be supportive and stop being ungrateful to the selfless and fearless ASUU members who are fighting for something you lots are too cowardly to embark on.You students are still going to be the biggest beneficiaries in the longrun.

Once beaten twice shy.You want ASUU to take the f.g seriously when they couldn't even keep the promise they made in 2009,what is so hard in signing the damn agreements on paper,this goes to show that the f.g are insincere in their dealings with ASUU.
Same thing they did to ASUP(polythecnic)lecturers .
The polythecnic lecturers resumed back to work after 2 months of industrial action,now the students are back at home again due to the incompetent f.g not keeping to their own side of the bargain.
And something is seriously wrong with the silly and idiotic judases(hungry lecturers)running their rabid mouths on channels tv, what is the purpose of going for a five month old strike without achieving nothing worthwhile the whole time ,their heads seriously needs to be checked.

Johnsinia: ASUU should be proscribe. Who said military failed in banning ASUU? In 1988 ASUU was banned for 2 good yrs. And in 1990 due to the calmness of ASUU, the military felt it will be nice to pardon them and reinstall ASUU. The military would ve as well banned ASUU permanently. Come 4th Dec, ASUU will be thrown out of the university community if they fail to call off the strike. This is nt a child threat, this is wat the FG ve already started. You can also see that the police are already on ground to boast security and arrest any aota of protest by the sackd lecturers. The FG ve foreseen ds coming, and they ve long ago even b4 the meeting with ASUU prepared 4 plan 'B'. So if u tink dat ds is a child threat, then, be prepare to start calling the FG names bc the lecturers, as many that will nt resume duty will be thrown out of the university environment.
