Ihejirika was a brilliant General who was able to confine boko haram to sambisa forest when he was in charge but some people out of hatred and envy kept on shouting that he was committing genocide and called for his removal.

We are proud of you Ihejirika, if only the timid GEJ had not tried to please the core North at all costs and removed you, you probably would have extinguished the fire of boko haram by now...
I guess the airport base amongst others attacked and wrecked by boko haram was in sambisa forest.

I want to believe that all the numbers given since the start of this war are quite conservative.
Knowing fully well how Nigeria operates ,You can multiply the numbers by a factor 10 and you will still not be close to the real numbers.
Sad.

Nothing wrong in borrowing if you have a good debt management office and culture .
But Wike's antecedents , mannerisms and politics automatically makes the loan suspicious.

The man is making hays haste while the sun shines by grabbing as much as possible before D-day
It is obvious that the elections in rivers will be annulled.

How these clowns got into power is unexplainable.
I guess this woman got used to the idea that the otuoke clown left the economy in her hands to conduct world bank experiments.
people who actually govern states where the actual economy is located have been given back their right to make inputs.
A body that is empowered by law to do just what it was assigned to do is what this woman is calling a witch hunt.

So show the signature of the governors on a document granting approval . Ole
This is the reason why buhari has not appointed his minister. All fraud must be discovered with Jonathan's appointees still in their positions.
That way z, they won't be able to pin it on incoming ministers or blue the facts finger pointing
BusinessRe: Ladipo Auto Spare-Parts Market Demolished (Photos) by oduastates:
All states in the SW should go ahead and demolish all illegal structures, shacks ,rubbish and paanty which litters the region.
Remove those illegal structure and encroaching fences and what you will see is space . Living space ,Breathing space , walking space . Space which can be turned into sidewalks , build drainage , lay water pipes , fibre to cabinet or fibre to home lines, bicycle lanes.
All those wooden benches ,stalls and containers .
Those tomatoes seller should be given collapsible plastic stalls which must be removed at the end of the day.
High street which can be shut down for conversion into temporarily markets ,4 days a week ,must be identified and made available to those who are willing to pay taxes into the tills of the local government.
I was on holidays 3 months ago , the feeling I have whenever I come back into the mess remains the same as it was 6 years .
Nigeria is one big eyesore.
No greens, no open spaces , no planning ,no air to breathe . Just people living on top of each other .
Do not get me started on Those okada, tricycles churches ,mosques, generator noises, twisted wires on electricity and telecommunications pole, open drainage or lack of and beeping of horn .
The LASG should dust up her law books and start enforcing them .
The laws are mostly derived from the British common law. They should be enforced.
Spare part sellers , tomato seller, suya seller , yam seller, lacasera and everybody in between must be made to learn how to live and work decently.
Baba kekeere (jakande) was well known for his bull dozers.
The ogun state government should take control of the mowe , Ibafo area as well . Many areas in that axis have become a giant slum
Ambode should get rid of that Fashola's mega city project.
Where does he want to put 50 million people ? Ogun state has plenty of land to contain everybody and you can see this from the air when you are approaching murtala airport. Just organise/control the release and conversion of farm land into urban dwellings.
Instead of mega city, plan for a series of small manageable cities and towns linked by branching/lateral rail lines , and a central line linking Lagos , Ibadan and ogun . If you do not live in gbagada phase 2 , Victoria Island,Ikoyi , lekki, shangisha, magodo and places like that, it is very difficult find a decent environment to raise a child in a Lagos .
In fact , I would recommend that all states do the same.
Lastly tax (congestion charge) private users of cars like Singapore ( which conducts an annually renewable lottery for vehicle licenses and those who win must pay through their noses)and emphasise cycling .
Most journeys people make are less than 15 minutes by bicycle.
Too many damn cars and the resulting hold up/pollution

NDPVF:
No.Why?.It has gone beyond and Igbo affair.
Yesterday being monday,i got stucked in a wild-flood.
It almost swept my car away. But this is Oil city that has built a former desert Abuja,to a world class city, while their is absolutely little or no federal presence here.Any attempt to bring any here, will be followed with press criticism, and tagged "Non viable project".Take the quest for seaport here,as an example.many a time, same people will use their press to tags it a "non viable project",just to stiffle it.But demands for more in Lagos.Lagos currently has two ports,(Tincan & Apapa),and the 3rd one is ongoing in badagery.
How about the recent call to shut down enugu intl airport,by same people with their press, saying "Nigeria doesnt need multiple entry routes".How about shutting down Kanos own or Lagos?.If a region of over 15million have to go to Lagos, kano or abuja to travel out of the country, then something is wrong somewhere.mind you,it isnt only Igbos that uses it.it makes life more easy for some middle beltans like Benue and kogi, who are near to the airport.i in person,i used that airport last year.how do you want igbo people to feel, when it is being close?.your gues is as good as mine.common Ghana that is not upto a state in Nigeria has more than one intl airport, how much SE+Other nearby user,i inclusive.shm on Nigeria.
Airport
Port harcourt has had an international airport since obj regime (for more than 12 years ) .
Enugu was designated an international airport by Yar adua . Use those .
Airlines will fly any route they can make money.

Sea port
How can you build anything when you keep voting clowns into power .

You cannot eat your cake and have it .
On Lagos having 2 seaports .
Lagos has had her trading ports for over 500 years . Way before Nigeria .
The ports will continue cracking even after Nigeria
The British modernised them and handed over the ports to the rightful owners , the western region , in 1960 .
The new port is being by Lagos state and the private sector .
Anyway , there are ports in warri and port harcourt . Use those , build yours or tell your politicians lobby the presidency for structures and not pocket.
The finger you use to damage yourselves is the same finger you used to vote Jonathan .
You cannot eat your cake and have it .
What have the like of Jim Nwobodo , ekweremadu , Peter obi , Iweala ,Pius Ayim, onyeka onwenu etc being doing over the last 5 years .
My guess is that they were helping Nigeria with all the wreckage they left behind .
Whenever you mention your Biafra , Never mention Odua states or Odua states citizen .

Nigeria is a failed state
That is why a part of me is happy that Tinubu is having to fight all the Nigerian devils .
Maybe he will stop investing so much into the Nigerian project like obasanjo and move into the SW default position of regional autonomy or outright independence.

Me and Nigerian politics , You've got the wrong person .
I am affiliated only to my region and that is where my loyalty and allegiance lie.
I play the politics that will lead to the likelihood of an independent state for the Yorubas nation and which would likely solve most of the problems you enumerated above.

nedu2000:
Osun,nasarawa,taraba,yobe and kebbi.
NOTE : Borno receives great revenue as a result of the lake Chad basin. They are nowhere near a poor state.

Igbos who naturally would rather get involved in business rather than join the civil service means that her states don't bear massive burdens of paying workers who as a majority offer nothing in return to mother states in terms of revenue and services (not)rendered. Therefore her states have more money to use on capital intensive projects instead. So her 5 states can't be the poorest.

Niger-delta states,oil revenue,13% derivation,so can't be categorised as the poorest
Or you can say ,
SE states lack social services which means fewer teachers , nurses , doctors , sanitation workers ,TV stations to pay .
We flock to other states to piggyback on their social services

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Don’t Want Nigeria To Progress by oduastates: 6:39pm On Jun 29, 2015
Mr Afam4eva,
Buhari's success or failure will not be determined by the number of people and the number of times he is bad- mouthed.
It will be determined by his own actions .
A citizen expressing his misgivings does not mean he wants him to fail.
The sheer number of dishonest post, lies and articles online also means that the onus is on buhari to write the narrative with openness and truthfulness.
Doing nothing when some dishonest persons are posting lies online is foolish.
If at all , you should be complaining about the wardrobe allowance and how Nigerians are not doing anything at a time when they should have put the National Assembly under siege.
If you asked me , I would probably vote to scrap the National Assembly altogether and make do with a council of Chiefs( traditional rulers) .
At least traditional rulers have their thrones on the line.
PoliticsRe: Joe Igbokwe Vows To Fight Saraki, Dogara In NASS by oduastates: 5:49pm On Jun 29, 2015
If the atiku/ SARAKI axis ( neo consevertives) win the battle for the soul of APC like they did under obasanjo , then the Buhari administration will only see marginal improvements over Jonathan's and obasanjo's government. Nothing major will change.
If the less conservative clique ( Tinubu's clique) win, then you may see a few technocrats like Ben Nwabueze ,the lagos commissioner of budget , pat utomi, fashola, oshiomole in good positions . TInubu is definitely not a progressive as much as he claims to be one and fashola is a centrist, ditto Oshiomole, amaechi, Amosun , ajimobi .
PoliticsRe: FG Appoints Ladan, Director Of DPR by oduastates:
To whom much is given , much is expected .
As much as people like to deny it , the oil does not belong to Nigeria . It belongs to the Niger delta. 13% derivation or not.
Positions in the oil industry should be left for the south south. We are not in 1970 anymore. The region now has materials to man leadership positions in the oil industry.
The NW and SW have produced the president, VP and everything in between(. Regardless of how saraki chooses to manipulate his identity like The late Sunday Awoniyi in the past ,seeking to benefit from any government in power, he is Yoruba.)
Nigeria is not a nation and the perception of the other is widespread . The other parts SS and SE of the country must not see themselves as marginalised .
They are already out of the leadership equation.
This appointment should have been delayed until a sense of belonging and equity has been established.
Buhari should avoid committing Jonathan's mistakes in marginalising the SS and SEwhere the SW Was deliberately marginalised and nepotism was institutionalised . There seem to be a lack of sensitive people around the corridors of power.
Conceding all the leadership positions in the oil industry to the SS wouldn't be asking for too much.
Unless he is a bad student of history or he wants to see the militants back in the creek .
As for those who cannot look beyond their nepotic world view , even with jonathan trying to hamper growth and development in the SW , the region grew faster than any other in the country .
Personally , I would have preferred Buhari to tap into the global oil industry for foreign managers when he cannot find a decent enough person from the SS.
Also , he should look at creating 6 non political and technocratic positions of deputy Vice President.one from each zone to channel equitable development .
Even though I want nigeria to succeed, I cannot but admit that we have lost the opportunity to forge the soul of a nation. The people have been corrupted. I am not one of those deluding myself over Buhari.
The corrupt Jonathan out , mission accomplished but
Good intentions never solves anything.
My default remains and will forever remain , An independent Yoruba Nation. OODUA STATES.
PoliticsRe: PHOTOS: OOU Students Protesting As They Block Lagos To Ore Expressway by oduastates: 4:30pm On Jun 29, 2015
Always directing their energy in the wrong direction. Just like the students from afe babalola university protesting against the lack of generators last year. Shouldn't they be protesting against the lack of electricity from the mains?
May be they should be protesting against the law of enforcement of licensing ,driving /vehicular laws and bad roads .
Accidents do happen and will happen but they are preventable.
PoliticsRe: Government Profligacy: A Case Study Of Osun State by oduastates:
This can only impress dummies.
This spreadsheet does not show mismanagement.
In fact, it does not show anything .
Simply a sum of figures across 2 administration.
until a comparative analysis is done ,with emphasis on
1 projects executed
2 living indices ( health, employment,education etc)
3 service delivery
4rise in minimum
5 numbers of institutions of governance.
6 Population
And so on .

From a more educated and informed angle , the foolishness of Aregbesola lies in trusting the judgement and economic management of Jonathan and iweala .
Even the 3 blind mice know that they were sailing the ship into an iceberg with the way the country was bleeding cash through theft ,fraud , rampant importation of rubbish and squandering of all the benefits from high commodity prices.
Instead of reducing spending by cutting back on non essential spending and developing other sources to mitigate against what is well known since like 4 years ago.
The Wall Street bubble in commodities prices was always going to burst .

What do you think getting a british or American entails.
You are swear a oath of allegiance before picking a passport.

9) The wordings of the sections are the same with variations as to offices (e.g. President, National Assembly, House of Assembly, or Governor). For this purpose, the relevant provisions as to the National Assembly are adopted as a guide, for purposes of legally analyzing the content of this legal opinion.
10) It provides:
"Section 66 (1) No person shall be qualified for election to the Senate or the House of Representatives if-
a) subject to section 28 of this Constitution he has voluntarily acquired the citizenship of a country other than Nigeria or, except in such cases as may be prescribed by the National Assembly, has made a declaration of allegiance to such a country;

I, (Insert full name), do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, her heirs and successors, according to law. So help me God.
