Clients do not give a hoot about your past achievements.

When you begin a proposal, IMMEDIATELY proffer a solution to their project.
It makes you standout from the beehive of spammers and copy paste time wasters.

The First thing the client sees are the first two lines of your proposal, so you need to make it as ATTENTION GRABBING as possible.

I've been on upwork for 9 years now, and it gets easier with time.

You'd get to the level where churning out job winning proposals will be second nature.


Remember, HOOK your clients with the first two sentences, and you've got a good chance of winning the job....

Again, here's another mistake rookies make...


When the client interviews you, ASK questions.

Don't just swallow everything they say hook.line.sinker...
Yhis gives them the impression that you're genuinely interested in making their lives better...

I think this is debatable tho I use to hold this believe.
