Zerofarm: Hello Nairalander,
I need your suggestion and advice because I just acquired 7 hectares of land for plantain farming in ekiti which will be planted by February next year, the place is secured and free from bandits or herdsmen but everybody is telling me to do relocation instead of farming even though I’ve invested up to 4 million naira into this project because I love Agric….
Please which one is the best advice for me right now as I know how I can make it big by planting up to 10,000 suckers of plantain on this land and get the return in a year, is there market for large production of plantain?
Mods please help me to push this to front page as this is my only option of surviving travel out for? |

One mumu is saying that borno is safe and when was the last time I heard about boko haram, I hope he's seeing the daily headlines about how porous the arm forces lack capacity to protect citizens and unsafe the country is. Na you Mumu pass, cuz you're still yet to tell me the last time you heard of Boko Haram attacks in Borno state. Oga tell me the last time Boko Haram bombed or attack any settlement in Borno or Maiduguri if you no be first class mumu |

I repented in the car and I prayed the Lord to take my soul to heaven if it happens.
I was at the front sit and speedometer was constantly at the extreme end of RED for almost 80% time of the journey. We were doing 280 or more if I'm not mistaken.
There was a fuel pipe we changed 3 times, speed blown that pipe 3 time and how that vehicle didn't caught up on flame till date is a miracle to me.
That was the day I knew truly army are trained to either kill or die.
With siren all vehicles were giving ways, this contributed to the speed madness. As a bloody civilian, I can't complain.

Ubanz: From Abuja to Bauchi - Damaturu Road 2010, when Nigeria was good & safer,Drove straight 170km/hr for over 30minutes in my new Benz C class. Road is wide and parallel as far as the eyes can see,no curve, with mirage at every gaze. From afar you will see cows look like herds of goat, until you get close u won't know they are cows. Beautiful Road in the Sahel. No police or army checkpoints just beautiful sceneries. Haven't passed that route since Boko Haram. Well atm, the roads are now eyesore with potholes everywhere. It's only when you get to Bauchi you get to see good roads and Bauchi linking Fika-Potiskum-Damaturu but it's a single carriageway that you just gotta think twice bfr you speed cuz of em crazy hausa drivers always keen to overtake |

brandsoncharlie: Your ignorance keeps coming in because in no way has Nigeria government declared those places save that will warrant anyone take the risk of traveling there. I traveled through Lagos recently to my state, almost all the different arm forces in nigeria are on the highway from south west to south south because of insecurities of robbery, kidnapping and ritualist. Visit west African borders you will see there are more road block in nigeria than other countries. You never even start to travel self, na village for Nigeria you still dey go... I was expecting to read you telling me how you travelled to Borno and Boko Haram almost killed you to certify ur claim of how hot Boko Haram is currently but there you are telling me bullshit of how you travelled from the SW to the SS. And besides how many times would Buhari tell you Boko Haram have been contained and only attack soft targets?? Who's even talking about West African borders here? mtcheww Thought ignorance was only ur problem but it's clear Sublitracy is bringing out the best outta you and next time Pls quote me with ur senses |

brandsoncharlie: Did Nigerian government tell Nigerians they have eradicated boko haram? Ignoramus, travel to borno, or where the thing they hot for those northern states and see if boko boys won't deal with you mercilessly. In the last two months, I was in Yobe state, Fika LG area, Potiskum and Damaturu town and I also travelled to Borno konduga to be precise and everything is going well in terms of business and life as tho there's nothing like insurgency over there. The only local government (rural settlement) Boko Haram attack successfully is Mallam fatori, Baga tumbums and that's cause it's closer to Chad This is why we tell folks like you to travel and get exposed but No y'all won't, but would rather confidently flaunt ur ignorance. If e sure for you say Boko Haram still got powers, go and join them and see what becomes of you in the next few weeks. Need I tell you Kaduna highways is now safer? Who do you think is responsible?
