School memories : Fridays are always my favorite, half teaching day, dem go teach us from 8 to 10:00am,10 to 10:30 break time, 10:30 to 12pm moral class (Christian religion class and Muslim class held in separate classes) afterwards na to grind charcoal, dark the board and go home till Monday ... Olden days were sweeter.

@OP, one thing I like about your thread is, as the first poster, you made good antecedent for others to follow by posting evergreen classics from old music legends. Not list made from wack, noisy Indomie generation artistes.

All I can say is nostalgia. Unlike today, where unlimited froggy musicians drop noisy songs everyday; back in those days, very quiet world, with very few but meaningful artistes. I can remember Elton John Sacrifice saturating the calm atmosphere from the room of the only guy with booming audio system in the neighborhood. It always felt so good. The big guys used Walkman.
My Edo sister Celina Odion always gave us those beautiful songs we used in calming body at night or when reading. Her voice was a pure high.

Westlife were the real OGs those days and their songs were certified hood classic, every kid in the hood knew their songs by heart.
That is why it is hard to convince indomie generation kids, who have only listened to wack songs from frog voices all their lives.

I should have dropped popular, classic songs like Titanic and Hero Enrique Iglesias, but I choose these uncommon ones.
