Can you point me to any document that explicitly states cars on ehailing platforms must have hackney, lasdri and operator’s license?
guy leave him he has won you. Just let the issue slide Uber has made it mandatory I just check my profile page and saw this so I believe they will start blocking drivers.

Government always win.
SHOOPSYN:
You are right, Union! Unfortunately, we youth are now the most difficult set of people when it comes to "coming together" to achieve something in Nigerian Some of the listed excuses are not genuine compared to what we can achieve in coming together. We are too knowledgeable that we have trillions of difference in opinion over little things. God will help us. On the other hand, I think something is still not right between Uber and LasGvt or some head of VIO vampires about the permits. Because I trust Uber, they would have logged you out until you get it. But at the same time, everybody wants to play safe and avoid story yhat touch. The vampires won eventually.

so I am in a e-hailing drivers group on WhatsApp called Uber & taxify Lagos. I asked in the group if the lasdri card office is open today and got a response from someone "yes". as a matter of fact he claim he is currently at office and would start the first session for today's training soon. I asked if I can meet up with the first session, since I live at ajao estate isolo. he said yes but what would delay is the payment. he advised that I send him payment so that he can help with it to fast track the process for me. I thanked and send the money, only for me to get the office and find out the office isn't open today. I tried reaching out to him and what he said was that I should go to hell, that I have been scammed. the said amount is just 2k. I am writing this here so as to warn every other person from falling victim. here are his phone numbers and account number
Account name: koyi oluwasegun aduragbemi
Bank: GTB
Account no: 0115224279

I crack my head for like a day I couldn't comprehend. I just told him the next day that I don't know. In my mind oga I know Wan involve my self with crime abeg. Fact still remains that no Uber/bolt driver has come and said that their car was impounded... y’all jus creating unnecessary brouhaha ... tbh you guys are just giving the idiot a platform to display his/her lunacy huh
the matter just tire me oo. Funny enough I was stop by VIO today in yaba with my rider and the dude just ask for my dl and road worthiness Finnish though rider sat in front seat I was expecting him to ask the almighty question are u Uber. But God save him he didn't ask. But said I should go. So me am still wondering how they will identify ehailing drivers. Note my car is corolla.

1- Yes Yellow buses do have LAsdri because they are commercial buses

2-It is not a crime to ride share but know they when you start to ride share your private car for cash, you have now commercialize it, if arrested when picking up passegers, you will be asked for permit to operate a commercial vehicle... drivers of commercial buses and taxis are also tax payers.

yes, people have been ride sharing before uber all over the world but they needed a permit to operate, even private taxi operators in lagos before uber needed a permit to operate.

Best approach will be for Uber and others to come clean and tell the government that they are taxi operators and get the necessary permit instead of claiming they are connecting people. all uber and others stubbornness and deceit will lead to the suffering of drivers on their platform, lagos government has leverage, uber are at their mercy no mattter what they print on paper. they will have to bow down to government at the end of the tussle.
pls how do u identify me as Uber driver will u search my phone just answer me.

In fact enh its so annoy.

5min back one just happened. I was inside Omole phase 1 behind the Catholic church and got a req.

GBAM GBAM GBAM!!!
Aceppted!

Immediately my phine ring.

Me: hello
Rider: a woman's voice, of a where r u
Me: I'm in front of the Catholic church
Rider: I dont know where that is o but I'm standing beside uba
Me: ok, where r I going pls?
Rider: lekki abi, she was trying to mention the exact place.
Me: ok, im coming.

B4 I cud get to omole gate she already cancelled. Called the fufu she didnt pick.

Guy man just weak.

Drove down to uba I just off my bolt app and turned on uber and immediately a req entered going to phase II. Trip ended of 0naira...guyman just weak today... e b like na o fe work I dey do today ooh

But one thing I c about this taxify policy on zero charges on cancellation is that, ita their strong strategy to grab d market and thats d reason they have lots of riders they understand the market very well. So i dont see them scrabbing it not now not in the nearest future. But they only thing is they should look for a balance for drivers as well because it doeant make any sense after driving for a long distance inly for rider to cancel on u. Its totally wrong
lol so he pain u when una too dey always cancel if them tell una say na igondu u see as he dey be lol
