As per the Ilorin issue. The palace is all Yoruba. The emir has been yorubanized. Just like some of the igala kings in Ebonyi, Anambra and Enugu have been ibonized. You're so cowardly that minority ijaws captured and sold your forefathers into slavery. But all you do is come online to chestbeat. Which Ijaw group ever captured Igbo slaves, and which Igbo towns did they invade to capture Igbo slaves? You are obviously listening to that fat toad's propaganda. Anyway, my point being that the whole of Nigeria fought against the Igbos. I can also assure you that most of Ilumoyade's soldiers were not Yorubas. That goes to show you that Igbos fought the whole Nigeria. Let Yorubas try it and let's see. |

Ojukwu sent a brave Yoruba to represent Biafra. Yoruba led the onslaught that captured Benin and same Yoruba soldiers took it back.
Nothing wey una sabi do. The only thing you did yourself erased almost 3 million of you. We Igbos extinguished Banjo because he was not brave enough, and slowed down the invasion. Obi people, Benin people won’t beat you if they know you abuse their Oba, stop being this fearful to a minority tribe. Igbos do not insult innocent people. That's the difference. Igbos fought against all the tribes of Nigeria, a feat that Yorubas will never have the bravery or heart to embark on. But what Igbos don't do is to go and start insulting an innocent Oba. That is the work of Yorubas, creating fake monikers to cause a fight between Edos and Igbos. Igbos don't fear anybody. We have proven this fact time and time again. MossadAgent: If there's one reoccurring theme among both the Obidient and their ipob Siamese twins, it's for the breakup of Nigeria..
The reasons for this is simply because they feel that with a divided Nigeria their annexation plot over the Niger Delta will meet little or no ressistance.
This is why the likes of gidgiddy are more committed to breaking Nigeria into its initial composite makeup so as to restart their Ibo expansionism into the Niger Delta.
You can see this with the idiot in the original post salivating over a northern exit.
This is where it gets murky.
They have shown their expansionism with Anioma state creation and their unrelentless attempts to claim SS as theirs and theirs only.
North goes and I will assure them that SS will never ever be in any way or form yoked to the SE Igbos are absolutely not interested in any non-Igbo areas of SS, but if we were, the north doesn't have the wherewithal to stop the Igbos. Kobojunkieee: 1. You are the one here who reasons like Tambolo. We all know that when you go from State to state even today police effectiveness is not the same, not necessarily. This has little to nothing to do with state government effectiveness or lack but more to do with the effectiveness of the commissioner and the commanders in particular locales within, say a particular local government.
2. Please resist the urge to drone on meaninglessly abeg!
3. Please stop throwing in these unsubstantiated claims abeg! There is no report available at the time that states that Anambra was indeed more secure than Lagos or any other state for that matter. I decided to obliterate your propaganda by posting this new article. https://thenationonlineng.net/ig-declares-anambra-safest-since-five-years/Just to rob a little more salt to your injury, below is a little snippet from the article, that clearly points out the fact that Peter Obi's administration played a crucial part in the security excellence of Anambra The inspector-general hailed the relationship between the police and the government under Peter Obi, which contributed to the improved security, and reassured Governor Obiano that the police would give him a 100 per cent support to rid the state of kidnappers and robbers. |
Politics › Re: Why Not Give Sowere A Chance? This Old Guys Have Failed Us??? by OfoIgbo: 10:05am On Aug 11, 2024 |
Kobojunkieee: 1. Wrong! I am speaking instead of the dilapidation that existed in Anambra State during the 8 years of Peter Obi's government. Obi left near no development in that state during his 8 years as Governor.
2. We know all of that but that still isn't excuse enough for his deplorable record as State Governor.
3. Stop lying! Anambra roads did not come anywhere close to roads in Lagos State during the same time that Fashola was governor of Lagos State. The state of roads remained generally bad during Obi's time as governor and the fact that less than 10 years afterward, many of the same roads have long decayed means they were not properly constructed to begin with.
Most of the roads that existed during the time Tinubu was governor of Lagos were built by Governor Marwa before him. Yes, if not for the work Marwa did in Lagos State before leaving, Tinubu's incompetency as a governor would not have been glaring.
4. The work of the Police is that, the work of the police.
5. Stop telling us this lie, please! Yes, Anambra, even to this day has a low out rate. That has almost always been the case since even before Obi became Governor of the state. However, this claim makes no sense since there is nearly no data to back the claim you made. Not that I believe Lagos is ahead but just that the claim that Anambra schools are ahead of Lagos, or any other for that matter, is to this day not backed by real data. Nnaa you seem to be reasoning like Tinubu (It must be a compliment to you, after all you are his loyal fan). So you are insinuating that the police in Anambra was better trained than the police in Lagos, which was why Anambra was officially touted as the most secured state, when Tinubu and Fashola were the governors of Lagos state. Security is a 360 degrees engagement. If a state is well governed, and the people well taken care of, by positive government policies, this tends to drastically reduce the propensity for crime and insecurity. You cannot expect that a government that encourages agberoism will ever have better security than a government led by a humble, but supremely capable Obi. Anambra was not the most secured state in Nigeria when Ngige was the governor. This title only came about, during Obi's tenure. This says a lot about Obi's leadership. |

CSTRR: Then you will remain in the political dungeon.
And tinubu will win again. Don't worry. Peter Obi will win, whether the far north teams up with him or not. Obi even won the 2023 elections and if not for the rigging carried out by the NW and Tinubu, Obi would have been the president, and our economy would have been much better. No one will be screaming of hunger up north. The bottom line is that any teaming up, must be with the Igbo man taking the first shot at the presidency. Nothing more, nothing less. Our SS and NC brothers will back us up on this, especially as they know Peter Obi is more competent than any other presidential material at the moment. |

That's politics.
If obi does not capitalize on this and gain advantage with the North, then you would justify what they say that the SE does not know politics. Any teaming up that doesn't result in Peter Obi getting the opportunity to go for the presidency first, before the region being teamed up with, is a no-no for me and the entire Igbo race. Since the inception of Nigeria, the Igbo have only held the executive leadership of Nigeria for just 6 months out of 64 years. In any alliance whatsoever, the SE must take the first shot. |

Let him not be fooled; they will use him as a pawn and discard him when they’re done. It's high time he realizes that their intentions are far from genuine. No more playing the victim card, Peter! First of all, this article should have been written in Yoruba, as it does not deserve Igbo readership. Secondly Igbos will not be teaming up with any set of people who are destroying Igbo properties in Lagos, and who worked actively against GEJ's second term. Igbo decisions from now on, will be taken to satisfy just Igbo interests. Igbos are way more knowledgeable now. The scales have fallen of our eyes |

Yorubas and their reverse psychology. Let them not bring in Peter Obi into their political agbado mixture. Igbos of today are not Igbos of 1966. Yorubas can go and fight against northerners alone. Kobojunkieee: And this is the problem with the story you Anambra people tell of your Obi. He left hundreds of millions of dollars in the Anambra account while lots and lots of works were left undone in the same State. That is terrible government. Compare Obi to Fashola who around the very same time took to embarking on drastic development in his state, and you will immediately see how Obi is not what Nigerians need at all.
I recall commenting on a thread back around the time Obi was Governor where the man was reported to have gone to commission Pit toilets in somewhere in Anambra state. Why would a governor sitting on millions of dollars not have considered instead working extensively on sewage management, clean water supply, and sanitation programs and projects?
For almost 8 years, Obi impeded the progress at the Local Government level. Yes, if he had not sat on the money meant for LGA development and had instead helped educate the people on the functions of the LG, maybe much work would have been done at that level at least but he instead hampered progress at that level.
You say Anambra schools were elevated by Obi yet a drive through Anambra today would reveal that many of the schools in the same State are dilapidated and have been so even through Obi's time as governor, particularly schools in remote regions of the same State. Why would a man sit on millions of dollars and do nothing in those cases? Let's stop telling these ridiculous lies abeg! Obi relinquished the governorship of Anambra more than 10 years ago, so any dilapidation noticed in the schools that your drive through, should be blamed on the governors that took up after him, specifically Obiano and Soludo. That is the problem with Nigeria generally. They don't believe in maintenance culture, and you seem to be guilty of that as well, seeing that you seem to be blaming Obi for dilapidated schools more than a decade after he left office. On two occasions while he was the governor, the instruments of the state was used in removing Obi, but he had to use the judiciary to come back, so in such a situation, one would expect him not to be properly coordinated, but he performed better than expectation regardless. With some of the funds, he helped to give Anambra state the best road network in Nigeria, better than the road network given to Lagos by both Tinubu and Fashola put together, and in spite of the humongous resources at the disposal of Lagos state. Obiano even admitted that he built the international airport in Anambra state with a part of the money that Obi saved, so Obi was indirectly responsible for that airport, as he left resources that the subsequent governor used, and Obi was fully intimated of this plan before he left office, as he help Obiano ascend the throne. Obi's Anambra had better security than Fashola's Lagos. The then IG of Police made it quite clear that Anambra was the most secure state. Obi also ensured that Anambra state was head and shoulders above Fashola's Lagos education-wise, which proves Obi used Anambra's money judiciously, so Fashola is not even fit to tie Obi's shoelace. |
