I am looking at the fact that Lagos has more purchasing power and population than Onitsha but if it is from a data based institution,I concur.

It's a data I have heard bandied around by pretty reliable sources.

Also bear in mind that Onitsha is a huge market. People from much of West Africa head to Onitsha to go purchase one thing or another.

Additionally consider the fact that the most popular markets in Lagos are controlled by people who have huge bases in Onitsha, Nnewi and possibly Aba.

That alone is a tell-tale sign of the hugeness of the Onitsha market.

I currently live in Lagos, and just yesterday evening I was walking down an ordinary Ikeja street, and it doesn't take a prophet to point out which of the ladies is Yoruba and which one is Igbo. I saw an average Igbo girl getting out of an ordinary keke. She had hazel eyes and a very typically Igbo lovely complexion, and nearby was a group of typical Yoruba guys starring at her with gaping mouths. She was oblivious to what was happening, as I believe she was returning from school. These were typical RONU guys, who are definitely Agbado supporters. Tomorrow, when they start chasing an Igbo woman to marry, you will tell me they are liberal. Liberal my foot. They just want an Igbo lady to contribute her genetic being to their lineages, as they wish to improve the loveliness of their race.
