Bookhub:Funny. Both abacha and akpu are from the same crop ![]() |
pazienza:That is exactly the trajectory. Igbos need to understand that Ekpa is Tinubu's tool in the SE, while Kanu is an inexperienced dullard, whose heart is in the right place, but too dull to take sound decisions that won't rebound negatively on Igbos. Igbos have no hand in the bad governance of the past 9 years, and indeed, have been protesting with our votes since 2015. Let those that ushered in this drug-lord of a president go on with the hunger protests. While our sympathies lie with the protesters, it will be hugely suicidal for Igbos to become a part of the protest. |
I believe I am echoing the innermost feelings of Ndigbo when I say that I am glad our Jewish brothers got rid of a terrorist that has terrorised them for quite a while. One down, more to go. Kudos to Israel Igbo kwenu!!! Umu Israel Kwenu!!!! Umu Abraham (Abiama) Kwezuo nu !! Osondi Owendi ![]() Helinues, madridguy, seunmsg, legendhero |
ariesbull:And if you remove the Igbo women that reside in Lagos state, Lagos will fall off this list immediately |
ecolime:Tinubu sponsored Buhari, more than 8 years before Tinubu became the president. Ekpa has only really been active for less than 6 years or so. Tinubu is Ekpa's main sponsor |
CilicMarin:From the picture you sent, it will seem that all the Tinubu supporters in all the states of Nigeria who are in the picture, are not up to 200. Very interesting |
RZArecta:Sowore trying to arrange his scam. Sowore only has a minimal impact on those that intend to participate in the protest. Obi is the champion of most Nigerian youths, and that is why they will keep trying to link Obi to it. Sowore doesn't even have 1% of the influence Obi has on Nigerian youths. The whole point is that there is no single organiser of this coming protest. Certainly not Sowore. But if one is forced to pick a Nigerian with the most influence on Nigerian youths, and who could even have an impact on this coming protest, it is Peter Obi, even though he is not a part of the planning. |
Noerection:I am not obeying his sit-at-home order. |
Noerection:No two ways about it. Ekpa is being sponsored by Tinubu. Don't allow this intermitent smokescreens to deceive you |
MossadAgent:Anioma is Igbo territory. Much of upland Rivers state is Igbo territory. In fact the two most oil-laden LGAs in Nigeria are Igbo LGAs in Rivers state namely Oyigbo and ONELGA. To make matters more painful for you, the SE has more than 90% of Nigeria's gas reserves. If you add the Igbo territories in the SS, the gas reserves may well exceed the 95% mark ![]() Lagos was built with SS money, and without Igbo tax being paid in Lagos, sh!t will get tight |
MossadAgent:The same SS wealth was used in building up Lagos and Abuja. Moreover a good chunk of this SS wealth comes from Igbo areas in the Ss. Also we mustn't forget that the SE has more than 90% of Nigeria's gas reserves. |
MossadAgent:The money to construct these federal cities in the remaining 4 geopolitical zones will come FROM THE SAME FEDERAL GOVT PURSE used in financing all the federal infrastructures you find in Lagos and Abuja. Left to me, there will be no further federal input in Lagos and Abuja, until all the other zones come up to speed, development-wise. Enough of this monkey dey work, baboon dey chop mentality in Nigeria |
MossadAgent:My proposal will ensure that every region is not short-changed. Huge federal resources were pumped into both Abuja and Lagos. I have never read where you criticized the federal investments into Lagos and Abuja. All of a sudden, you have problems now that I am proposing that huge federal resources ought to be pumped into the remaining 4 regions with no federal capital. No be juju be that Especially now that Yorubas want no other group sharing Lagos with them. The obvious solution is for the remaining 4 regions to work together to ensure the same level of federal investment and infrastructure that have been situated in Lagos/Abuja, are also situated in the other regions with no federal cities. You should be happy with the proposal, after all it gives you the audacity to now tell Igbos to relocate to their own federal city, which btw, should be constructed in a territory with some sea access. I propose that for the SE, the new city ought to be constructed in one of these territories, Ohaobu in Abia state of Oseakwa in Anambra state. |
Iamgrey5:Personally I don't want to focus anywhere else. I only want to focus on Igboland. The lawmakers of all the zones with no federal capital (present or past) ought to work together to ensure such is situated for the remaining four regions. Estimate should be made of average federal money that was sunk into Lagos/Abuja over the past 115 years, and the same allocated to the remain four regions. This can't obviously happen overnight, but within a period of 50 years, so that Yorubas will be happy, knowing that Lagos will no longer be shared with other groups. Also the other groups will be happy, seeing that they have their own federal territories. |
MossadAgent:Coal was the major natural resource in the eastern region, and Port Harcourt was built with coal money from the Enugu region. Oil was only discovered in the late 50s and more seriously exploited in the 60s and 70s, so Enugu was not built with money from the SS. And by the way, 4 new commercial capitals need to be built in the remaining 4 regions that have no federally-constructed economic capitals. One capital in the SS One capital in the SE One capital in the NW One capital in the NE This is a project that senators from all these regions ought to work together to achieve. The SW already has Lagos, and the NC already has Abuja. There are 72 senators from the zones with no federal capitals. They can cooperate to achieve this. At least if this is achieved, Yorubas will be happier knowing that they will not be sharing Lagos with citizens from other parts of Nigeria, thus reducing the anxiety of Yorubas regarding Lagos. In such a situation, Igbos and other Nigerians will not mind if Tinubu makes the whole of Lagos, his piggy-bank, as people of other regions will now have their own federally-built cities to manage. cc babasolution |
Noerection:Just the same way Obi controls the mental processes of Tinubu, through Obidients |
Noerection:If you want, you can even show a picture of Kamala Harris as an Ekpa disciple. Real Igbos are not fooled. Over the past few years, Ekpa undermined Obi in situations that Tinubu benefitted from. All of a sudden, someone that has always undermined Obi, now wants to claim Obi as a BIAFRAN, coincidentally around the time that one of Tinubu's minions is trying to blackmail Nigeria by linking Obi and IPOB, and Obi is threatening legal action. You really think you guys can fool a hardcore Igbo man |
Mazisimonekpa:O ginwa bu onye nzuzu. Na-akpari onwe gi all the time. Amam na i na-alulu Tinubu olu, na-emebisi ihe Ndigbo na-eme |
Noerection:Tinubu helped Buhari become the president, before he became the president. Tinubu also helped Sanwoolu become the Lagos governor, before he became the president. So what's your point? It was always in Tinubu's interest to see that the SE is distabilised, so as to ensure he had a clear run of the presidency in 2023. Raising people like Simon Ekpa was well within Tinubu's capabilities to see to that. Of course, he did not anticipate that a strong candidate in the person of Peter Obi would eventually emerge and be etched in the hearts of Nigerians from the SE, SS and NE. That threw a spanner into the evil machinations of Tinubu. |
Never4getU:It seems as though you can't see Tinubu's hand in this idiotic press release. Ekpa seems to be working for Tinubu. Onanuga has some problems with Obi, so this press release by Ekpa, is meant to suggest that Obi is an IPOB supporter, to help protect Onanuga from the coming legal fireworks that will be initiated by Obi's legal representatives. Ekpa that kept undermining Obi for all these years, all of a sudden, wants to protect Obi. Count your teeth with your tongue. |
Mazisimonekpa:Nwokem shut up there. You are obviously showing why you are working for Tinubu's government. Obi has nothing to do with your shady organisations. It is clear you came up with this trash in an attempt to undermine Obi's legal moves against Onanuga, and to help Onanuga in his idiocy against Ndi Igbo. Igbo people shine your eyes. People like Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa are detrimental to Igbo interests. |
abc115:I am sure Tinubu would have been happier if this state visit to China, was scheduled for 1st August instead of September ![]() Helinues don't you think so? |
I will encourage northerners to still protest, if that same quantity of potatoes is not sold for N1,000 Tinubu has to artificially bring down the price to N1,000 before we can start appealing to northerners to shelve the protest. Price of other food items must also be reduced as well as the petrol price, to sooth the current pain. Other demands can be made through negotiations with the federal government, but only after Tinubu has crashed the price of the above items I mentioned. |
helinues:If Tinubu gets the naira to exchange at 190 to $1 as it was, during the GEJ administration, then N18K will be enough as the minimum wage, afterall, a bag of rice will be less than N10k. So if any protest should start from the SE, it must be against Tinubu's APC government that have destroyed the value of the naira. |
searchlight:Buhari told us the same and achieved nothing for Nigeria. Tinubu supported Buhari throughout his 8 year administration, and Tinubu promised Nigerians that he would follow in the footsteps of Buhari, and he seems to be doing that, when you consider Tinubu's first year in office. I seriously doubt people are willing to waste another 8 years of their lives, waiting for a clearly incompetent Tinubu to finish two terms, buying private jets and private yachts, while the people are dying of hunger and loosing their jobs, and paying for petrol through their noses. |
Ritchiee:It was Tinubu who worked hard to remove a SS president that was not doing a bad job, and installed a so called northern incompetent president. Tinubu also supported Buhari's reelection bid in 2019 thereby prolonging the anguish of Nigerians for another 4 years. Boko Haram was already active before Tinubu decided to work for the election of a boko Haram patron and a supporter of bandits to take over Aso rock. Tinubu has no hiding place, and no southerner will have any pity for him. Nigeria's economy has been destroyed by Tinubu's APC. He is very much involved in the failures of Buhari, and he has taken that failure to new heights in just his first year as the INEC president of Nigeria. |
lexylaw09:How can I also protest against inflation and the hike in the cost of fuel? How can I protest the depreciation of the naira? Should I print fake naira? |
Ritchiee:He has from now till the 1st of August to make things right, otherwise northerners may hit the streets. After all he had more than a year, but all that Nigerians got was starvation, price hike, petrol price hike, electricity tariff hike, multi billion naira home for the vice president, multi billion naira presidential jet, nepotism and tribalism and ethnic profiling of the Igbos. |
Jking20:Niger state youths and other northerners on twitter, have already massively attacked Bago for this anti-protest comment They are insisting that the protest must hold in Niger state. |
From this release, one can imagine the tribulation that Ibeto went through. Ibeto had no one in power to help him. BUA had his Fulani brothers in power to protect him. Buhari would never have raised any concern regarding Ibeto's plight. The funny thing is that if Ibeto had not been undermined by both Dangote and previous governments, he would have been the richest man in Nigeria. Today he is just the second richest man in Igboland, which is not by any means, a little achievement btw. |
dumahi:But it was Tinubu that fought hard to bring in Buhari, a northerner to replace Jonathan who's far better than both Tinubu and Buhari, as a president. Just to make matters worse for Tinubu, he supported Buhari's re-election ambition in 2019, because Tinubu saw nothing wrong in the way Buhari led Nigeria from 2015 to 2019, so Tinubu is part and parcel of every failing that Buhari brought to Nigeria. As though Tinubu was not done with his bad boy moves, he instigated a heavy anti-Igbo feeling in Nigeria during the last election, to the extent that his political hirelings took pleasure in destroying Igbo properties in Lagos, and you think such a move will endear Tinubu to the Igbos. Continuing, his hireling Onanuga went on to try and hang the protest on the neck of Peter Obi an Igbo man, so that he could be made a target. Now why should an Igbo man or indeed any other southerner ever support Tinubu, when his track record is full of him undermining southern president and a presidential candidate. Tinubu should make do with the Ohanaeze directive that Igbos shouldn't lead any of these coming protests. That is the very best he can ever get from the Igbos. Igbos will not be rallying for him, to intimidate the north. Let Onanuga do that for him. Let us not forget the fact that Tinubu forgave Igboho his fellow Yoruba, but has left Kanu an Igbo, in detention. You Ronus are really living in a different universe. |
