Throwback:Tinubu won Benue the same way he won Rivers state. Now that Tinubu has starved a lot of people to death, you think he will still be able to rig, as he rigged in 2023? |
Sheuns:Peter Obi will win in the he SE, SS and NC. Be will also get a good chunk of votes from the SW. |
Depriest2020:But that was exactly what Tinubu did with northerners in 2015 against Jonathan. It has already been done, so if the same thing happens to Tinubu, he shouldn't cry about it. He can go and seek advice from Jonathan on how to bear such siuations. |
obiekunie01:Depriest2020: Also the last time I checked, the strong man of my community did not sponsor an anti-Igbo campaign and prevented my people from voting in certain places. His minions also didn't set off demolishing the buildings of the people from my community, neither did the start sponsoring a mission to expel Igbos from Lagos. |
Sweeetheart:That is partly why Igbos are allied to no one. We have denied the Yorubas the chance to form ally of convenience with Arewas, with Igbos as the punching bag. Igbos have made one of their most politically adept moves. Yorubas have lost that readymade peace offering with Arewa. Yet Igbos are as dangerous as ever, and may pounce like tigers, whenever they wish. When Igbos get going, Yorubas won't be able to stop them. Hausas won't be able to stop them. At the moment, Yorubas have stuck out their head, because they feel they are protected as Tinubu is the president. Igbos will swing their swords when they are good and ready and at the most appropriate time. |
PandoraObi:It is a good thing Igbos stayed out of this protest. Now Arewa people are experiencing firsthand, how cunning Yorubas are.. Igbos will bite at the appropriate time. For the moment, we will stay off the protests. Yorubas are still exposing themselves. Yorubas will feel the venom and sting of the Igbos, once we are sure Arewa people have learnt everything they need to learn about the Yorubas. Let us see whether Yorubas will have the balls to sack Igbos from Lagos in the next few weeks. That is when Yorubas will be taught a bitter lesson on what to expect from Igbos when you cross them. |
DevilsEqual:Facing the north on twitter. So that is what you consider as Yorubas confronting the north. Cowards. Igbos fought a war, when we were not even the president. The war was fought against the whole of Nigeria, and if not for Britain and Russia, Biafra would have won that war. If Igbos dare join the current EndBadGovernance protests, Tinubu's presidency will be over, because Igbos will be able to organise the invasion of Abuja with millions of Igbo youths, to help Abuja citizens run Tinubu and his clique out of Abuja |
shivisee:Igbos fight wars. We don't join mere protests of women carrying empty pots. Yorubas like such protests, where they beg police to allow them through, led by a hungry woman carrying an empty pot. ![]() |
Goodnewsforlife:Igbos that want to leave Lagos have left Lagos. You cannot force back those that still want to remain in Lagos. That is his mistake. |
No he is not popular at all, in the north. More than 99% of the protesters up north have never even heard of Sowore. Sowore belongs to just one of the organisations involved in this protest. Northerners have their own organisations and associations involved in this protest. |
I believe this guy is a working corpse. I will advice him to seek asylum in a different country, where there are very few Igbos. He should also change his name. The funny thing is that he may have embarked on this misadventure for the cruise of it. His future is not bright at all. |
Philipponzaghi:Change takes time, but buying a yatch and a brand new presidential jet don't take time abi. Spending N21 billion to renovate the VP's official residence doesn't take time. Una logic ehn |
JagabanB:Nwokem you are Yoruba. You are not fooling anyone |
LandMann:Igbos have always been aware of this point. We have always known Yorubas as cunning gaslighters. I think the north is only just realising this fact. For many decades we have seen the north operate within the web that had been spurn by Yoruba gaslighters and media. The only reason northerners are even realise this, is because Igbos chose not to take part in any protests. That has helped the northerners to really take a peep into what is actually happening. If Igbos were involved, the Yoruba media would have kept their gaslight web well oiled, thus preventing northerners from seeing what they are seeing now. That is why I told you in another thread, that this protests will work better without Igbo involvement, as it will deny Tinubu's people the agelong use of the usual scapegoats, The Igbos. Have you ever watched the Keanu Reeves film known as THE MATRIX? You are only coming into realisation of what is actually happening. |
JagabanB:LandMann, pay attention to the vitriol thrown around by this jagaban, and earlier on, he/she even mentioned he is not Yoruba. Now try and reconcile that his earlier statement, with the message I have just copied from him. That is typical Yoruba gaslighting sponsored by Tinubu's camp. The gaslighting has really been against the north, because it is this same line that the north had believed all this while. The Yorubas are the chief gaslighters of Nigeria and the funny thing is that once this current hunger is defeated, northerners will get back into listening to Yoruba gaslighting moves. I hope you can now see why Igbos seem a little reluctant to join any protest, because we usually know how it will end. Northerners and westerners will gang up to victimise the Igbos, due to gaslighting from Yorubas. That is how it has always been. |
LordIsaac:Tinubu's legacy is hunger and hardship. No one will even vote for anyone endorsed by Tinubu, and there will be a massive and violent upheaval if he tries to use INEC and the judiciary to install his protégé. He started very negatively by using unnecessary tribalism against the Igbos in Lagos, unleashing his ethnic minions to undermine innocent Igbos. Some of the people in his kitchen cabinet are known Igbo-haters and he rewarded people like Asari Dokubo and Omokri, whom he felt, were anti-Igbo individuals. His lapdog Lagos governor embarked on policies that he absolutely knew will hurt the Igbos majorly, and he felt no remorse about it. God punished him for his evil, by ensuring his government's seen as the worst government to ever govern Nigeria. Even in this current protests, his bootlickers are still trying their damned best to blame Igbos for it, but God has made it difficult for him and his evil gang, to rope the Igbos in. Even Hausas and Fulanis are beginning to see the evil gaslighting against Igbos, emanating from Tinubu's camp. Tinubu hoped on relying on the good old Igbophobia, to cover for any failings in his regime, but God has truly exposed him. There is now no place for him to hide. Igbos voted for OBJ and he turned out to be the best Yoruba president ever to lead Nigeria. Around 2022, Igbos advised Yorubas to ensure Osibanjo emerged in APC, so that there will be two competent southerners going for the presidency in 2023, but long throat and Igbophobia will not allow Yorubas see that Tinubu will be a disaster. Today, the call made by Igbos is looking prophetic. Tinubu has broken every record in cluelessness. |
OfoIgbo:LandMann Please go through this video clip from Aisha Yesufu, as it butressed the point I was trying to pass over to you yesterday. Tinubu's people are trying to link his failure to the Igbos so as to divert attention from the issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_6Z98Lvvec cc: Pazienza Igboid |
FRANCISTOWN:Igbos of only the SE, have the largest gas reserves in Africa. Bear in mind that the gas is more than twice the quantity of Nigeria's oil reserves. When you add the Igbo territories in the SS, Igbo oil reserves will skyrocket also. So Igbos are well endowed. We thank God for that ![]() |
. |
madridguy:Those that took a vow to leave Lagos have left Lagos. This Bolaji guy may well feel the wrath of those who chose not to leave Lagos. That is the problem |
Tjra:But Tinubu claimed that he bought the presidency, and does not have anyone's mandate to receive advice |
Ola9ja23:Did Igbos tell you they will protest? Didn't Igbos make it clear they will not be joining the protest. Anyway, the real sponsor of the protest is HUNGER. Propaganda cannot cover it up. The Yoruba president is willfully starving northerners to death and extinction. Northerners have seen the evil plan of Tinubu and his group. |
LandMann:Even though Igbos are not part of the protest, ask yourself why the Lagos people want Igbos out of Lagos. Because they know, if Igbos were a part of this struggle, Igbos would have been a huge part of the EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest. It is even better Igbos are not a part of it, so as not to give the Tinubu government a chance to use ethnic profiling to destroy the protest. Tinubu and his gang are now being faced with the reality of the demands of the protesters. Tinubu and Onanuga no longer have the usual Igbo scapegoat to use to divert attention from the demands of the protesters. Hunger Dey, is a phrase that completely applies to this protest. Tinubu's minions are still working overtime, to rope in Igbos, but Igbos are several paces ahead of them. One guarantee you will get out of this, is that you won't see any real Igbo demonstration in support of Tinubu's government, or Igbo demonstration against this ongoing protests. Igbos have a lot of negative experiences, being a part of protests, so they/we have chosen to not be a part of this current protest, not because we don't support it, but because we want to avoid the negative consequences that have been heaped on Igbos for many decades now. Igbos have been protesting this bad government since 2015. We knew PMB would be a disaster, and he turned out to be a disaster. Igbos also protested with their votes in 2019 and 2023, but some other people chose to elect and rig in an incompetent duo |
Thiefobi1:Igbos are not protesting in Lagos, Abuja or Igboland, so your attempt at diverting attention is not working. Northerner are hungry and the price of items are high. Let the Lagos builders sort out this problem. If not, northerners may push Tinubu out of power, and Igbos that dominate Abuja won't lift a finger to help Tinubu, who is running the most anti-Igbo government in Nigeria's history. |
Raskimonojendor:Hunger dey. While you are cleverly trying to claim that people like Sowore are Igbos that organised the protest, people are seriously starving up north. Your clever propaganda to rope in the Igbos won't work. Tinubu and the Yorubas will remain completely responsible for the anger and hunger that has devastated the nation, especially the north. |
Chinkoalhaji34:I believe those Yoruba migrants in Lagos are about to make the worst mistake ever made. Igbos fought valiantly without enough guns against more than 200 Nigerian ethnic groups in the late 60s. Now, just one ethnic group is trying to challenge Ndigbo to a war, that Igbos will definitely win, just because they think their incompetent brother is the president of Nigeria. I can even guarantee these tribalistic Yorubas in Lagos, that the rest of Nigeria will not join them in that suicidal mission. Already Hausas and Fulanis are protesting against Tinubu. These misguided fools have no idea that Igbos have what it takes to make this ongoing protest more dangerous for Tinubu's administration. Instead of them to be wooing Igbos and arranging situations that will bring both ethnic groups closer, they think the best thing to do is to challenge a war-hardened Igbo nation. Sanwoolu and Tinubu and Onanuga are all obviously involved in these intrigues, as a way to divert the attention of Nigerians from the hunger they are facing, to hopefully encourage other Nigerians to gang up against Ndigbo, as their usual sacrificial lamb. Sorry to say this, but Igbos won't be falling for this easy trap. |
ribbit:Just a few days ago, Onanuga was trying to hang the planned protest on Obi, IPOB and Igbo, and I don't remember reading anything from you, countering the wicked propaganda from Onanuga. Igbos came to help during the ENDSARS protest, but when the dust settled, it was the Igbos that the Nigerian army came to massacre. You and your people did nothing to help the Rivers state Igbos that time. Today, you want Igbos to join a protest, which Tinubu and his gang have tried to link to the Igbos. You think Igbos are fools? It is better Igbos don't join otherwise Tinubu's propaganda machine will start claiming it was Igbos, and the rest of you will even back this propaganda. Today, Tinubu is stranded. Their usual Igbo fallguys are nowhere to be found. He will have to deal with the demands of the protesters, rather than looking for the easy way out, which is to blame everything on the Igbos. Igbos not joining the protest, is a major plus for the protest. The demands of the protest will not be blurred by any Igbo-hate propaganda, and Igbos will not be seen as the planners, thereby denying the military the right to come and start shooting at Igbo youths. |
brain54:Exactly |
Throwback:After Lagos Yorubas spent a whole year instigating Igbo hatred. Back to the drawing board |
Goodvibes007:Tinubu is sponsoring much of the mayhem going on in the SE, using Ekpa. That fact cannot be impeached. |
pazienza:Pazienza odogwu, jisie ike. Your analysis on these issues are always spot on. Let us hope Igbos don't fall into this same old trap, that we ought to be accustomed to by now. Even by observing all these northerners and westerners engaging in these naira-induced anti-protest protests, one ought to see how these people operate. Very undependable lot. Igbos should steer clear of these protests. |
