Remember that he says that the constitution empowers him to appoint whoever he likes in the first phase of appointment he has made. He is human being with conscience. If he failed to reward those that had suffered with him now, he may find it difficult to do that when the appointment will be based on federal character. Besides he also have full confidence in those he has chosen and he is ready to face the consequences should anything go wrong in the performance of those he appointed.

Pmb based his reasons on two things; to reward those who actually stood by him when things were tough, and to appoint those he knows and trusts very well. By this statement, i am convinced that pmb is out to put things right in this country. Amaechi and others who spent so much to project him were not considered in the first phase of the appointment, despite the fact that he (amaechi) is interested in sgf. The reason may not be far form the fact that ameachi has a questionable character already.
