Unfortunately for him (and fortunately for Akala and the entire int'l science community) this is an international award where true merit (and not the ojoro Nigerian type) is the only prerequisite for recognition!

This is one of the reasons why we should be praying seriously for this country, because there is big trouble as buhari keeps appointing only people from his village into his cabinet. How often do we see people from buhari's village with this kind of remarkable achievements both in politics and sciences abroad.

There are still many appointments to be made. Even the chief cleaner of Presidency is an appointment and the wailing region of this country might be considered for that, in the spirit if Federal Character and competency.

He is compelled by the constitution to carry all the states along in the many appointments u are talking about. The appointments he has made is an indication to show u who he is and what he has in mind. Simply because the constitution has no power over him in the appointments he has made so far, he ended up in appointing his his people only in his cabinet. My questions are these, where are tinibu and amechi? Do they not inform him that there are strong apc members in the south?

I am afraid, apc may not daliver. Lie mohammed's statement suggests that they have nothing to offer.how can they rely on gej's achievements to meet their bogus promises. They have got the power they sought, they should be able to create their own means of running their government. Little wonder why they have been busy pointing finger at the past administration. Apc should hit the ground running and stop complaining. The worst is that pmb has refused to declare his assets as promised during the campaign. If he cannot declare his assets which i believe is the easiest thing to do how much more other promises.It is only God that will save us from this mess.

I can assure you from what is going on now that Buhari is the same Buhari we had befor as our head of state. The reason why he has not thrown into jail without trial the former president and some selected governors from sw, ss,and se is because we are not in the military rule and constitution does not allow him to do that. Haw can he be so insensitve to be appointing only the northerners into his administration. He can only appoint his ministers from other regions to respect the constitution. If Buhari fails to cream off the best brain into his cabinet, his administration will crash. How often do we hear of people from the northern nigeria doing well in politics and science in the western countries? This is to show u how incompetent the northerners are.
