“The report, which falsely claims that Julius Berger Nigeria PLC has begun withdrawing its services from project sites in Rivers State due to alleged shortfalls in payments by the government, is a deliberate misrepresentation of facts and a calculated attempt to tarnish the reputation of the administration”.Where did they derive their reputation from? This is an administration forced on the people under a state of emergency, something not even recognized by the Nigerian Constitution and it's now talking about its reputation being tarnished? This already discredited administration lacks both credibility and legitimacy. What a complete joke. |
CommonSense1967:It’s clear you lack the mental capacity to engage in meaningful and purposeful conversation. What does Obi have to do with the Tinubu-led APC government’s withholding of Osun State local government allocations? |
Tinubu has assumed dictatorial powers. However, dictators throughout history share a common fate: eventual downfall. |
seunowa:Yet here you are...engaging. Seems like my 'rubbish' made quite the impact after all. Thanks for proving my point better than I ever could. |

helinues:There is little reason to celebrate the repayment of debt when the apparent objective is to secure even more borrowings, further plunging the nation into debt that future generations will be unable to repay. |
This is the essence of true economic reform, delivering measurable results without imposing undue hardship on the citizenry. Tinubu, Wale Edun, Cardoso, and others who claim to have made Lagos what it is today must acknowledge that their policies have contributed to the collapse of the naira and the crash of the Nigerian economy in just two years. They owe Nigerians an apology and must be willing to set aside their pride. It may be wise for them to seek guidance from Ghana’s leadership, whose approach to economic reform offers valuable lessons in balancing progress with compassion. What has been imposed on Nigerians in the name of reform has been anything but, a series of harsh, poorly conceived policies that have led to widespread hardship, strife, hunger, and rising insecurity. |
aswani:Can you really say that way more than 9 billion dollars isn’t being stolen under the Tinubu administration? |
• Makinde replies Wike, urges President Bola Tinubu to call him to order The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has strongly rebuked the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike for converting governance most of the time to a personal enterprise. The Governor who spoke through a Special Adviser, Dare Adeleke said that the former Governor of Rivers State who has resorted to calling others names following the crisis in the PDP is turning increasingly dishonest. “As former governor of Rivers State and now Minister of the FCT”, Makinde’s top aide remarked, “he appears to have turned governance into a personal enterprise.” Continuing, the Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor said, “I believe President Bola Tinubu should call him to order.” He further asked, “How can someone, over personal grievances, seek to destroy political parties?” He noted that Wike who is at the centre of the instability rocking the PDP was guilty of working to undermine opposing parties in order to ensure victory for the APC. The former Rivers Governor, Makinde’s man hinted, is the arrowhead of a very dangerous plot to “destroy and eliminate” what is left of the nation’s opposition parties.” The Governor’s spokesman referred to Wike’s persistent attacks on the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party”, saying such remarks were “undemocratic and arrogant.” He said the whole nation is acutely aware of the fact that the script being played by the FCT Minister is part of a scheme designed to ensure that Tinubu is re-elected in 2027 at all cost. “I strongly condemn Governor Nyesom Wike’s undemocratic and arrogant remarks,” the spokesman is quoted as saying https://phctelegraph.info/2025/05/28/makinde-to-wike-stop-governance-isnt-personal-enterprise/ |
Putindbutt:Enlighten me. |
Wainey:How can someone who created chaos and is now struggling to remedy it still be considered the best? |
Putindbutt:What was the exchange rate of the naira to the dollar when he came into office, and what is it today? |
masterfactor:Who rented the crowd |
Putindbutt:Olayemi Cardoso |
Putindbutt:The Patch patch CV CBN governor created the chaos |

HenryThegreat1:Absolutely |
Wainey:Who created the chaos? |
But we’re told that the gains are already with us |
helinues:Allocations are not being remitted to states in dollars. However, we know that what 500 million naira was worth in 2023 is not what it's worth today, it has significantly depreciated in value. Yes, allocations to states have increased, but the gains have long been eroded by the depreciation of the naira It’s like taking one step forward and three steps backward |
Appletek:Is that the reason helinus is exhibiting so much bitterness, hatred, and anger toward them? At the Bold, Helinus said in his own words: 'Is gala hawking restricted to a particular place or region?' So where did you suddenly get the whole 'being part of your culture but actually banned in certain areas' idea from? Stop jumping into comments like an antelope. |

helinues:Answer the question: what have they done to you that you won’t even let them drink water and drop cup? |
helinues:Of course, those hawking gala are found across all regions. But I ask, once again: what crime have they committed aside from trying to make an honest living that justifies your constant bitterness and anger toward them? |
helinues:What have those hawking gala done to you that makes you keep exhibiting bitterness and anger toward them? |
