iliyande: I’m married to my childhood sweetheart. We lived together for a few years then got married three years ago. He’s a lovely and responsible man and I’m lucky to have him. We have a great relationship, apart from the physical side. His love-making no longer turns me on as it used to.
I’ve never considered cheating on him though lately, I’ve told myself that if the chance arose, I might just go for it. I love my husband very much and we have a cute one-year-old son. He’s very extroverted and I’m sure he’ll be terribly hurt if this marriage breaks so would I. Is there any way out of this.

HIPROFILE: BUhahahaha.... i can see that NAPTIN now train e-goons to help them defend their dubious act (confidence trick)... i asked a simple question here which i have been waiting for the answer from AWAA surprisingly till now i haven't received any answer to my simple question.
Maybe i have to repeat it: AWAA and co, please explain this in simple terms: NAPTIN employed graduates who never did this training, placed them on salary and sent them to same training while the already trained are at home. please i beg your clarification meanwhile the DG said to both 12/13 and 13/14 set that best ten will be employed, he only did that with the first set then what happened to the second set of 2013/2014. i guess they are hibernating |

Madrid4real: RE - NATIONAL POWER TRAINING INSTITUE OF NIGERIA (NAPTIN) - A Federal Scam
I write to comment on the above subject matter in which a writer claimed that the promise made by the Director General of National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN), in person of Engr Dr. Reuben Okeke to grant ten (10) best graduating NGSDP trainees the right of first refusal for job placement within NAPTIN was not fulfilled.
To this effect, i am forced by the write-up to voice out my opinion concerning the subject so that the world may know whether the claim is right or wrong.
1. I was among the beneficiaries of the ten (10) best NGSDP trainees who graduated in 2012/2013 and who were employed by NAPTIN where the process was based on merit.
2. It is also worth mentioning that a large number of other known NGSDP trainees who graduated the same year were recruited by ‘Mainstream Energy Services’, a company who acquired Kainjl and Jebba Hydroelectric Power Stations after the recent privatisation exercise.
3. Other graduates of the same set have secured jobs with the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) and posted to different stations within the country. In all the recruitment exercises, NAPTIN certificate was given due consideration.
4. Another aspect to remember is that non- NGSDP graduates recruited by any of the electricity companies (Gencos, Discos, TCN) were being sent to NAPTIN by the companies who usually pay for them to undergo the same training. At the same time, Old staff were being sent to the same NAPTIN for advanced training.
5. However, it was categorically stated in the write-up that the training received by the writer was ‘first class’ of its kind, a fact which may guide the Federal Government in judging whether to scrap or give more support to the training institution. i believe you just woke up from you sleep when you posted your comment.to avoid repeatition of post i advice you to take time in reading and understanding the op and comments made by others before rushing to defend the undefendable. |

@Awaa:do u know that tcn has been recruiting without giving consideration to naptin trained engrs? the same tcn will send newly recruited staff to naptin for training making naptin to benefit from both ends: tcn and general public. and u want these guye to keep quite while others fall prey of naptin's promises of eldorado? use ur tongue to cou t ur teeth my brother. |

is anyone in the house among the new trainees who can come on air to tell us what motivated him to pay a whooping sum of 750k for naptin training if not but for job offer. |
Politics › Re: The Organised Scam Called Naptin. by Ogadtop(m): 11:29am On Aug 21, 2015 |
Awaaa: I want to sincerely sympathize with you my people, who graduated from the NAPTIN Graduate Skills Development Programme (NGSDP), and are yet to secure any job placement. I am one of the pioneers of the NGSDP i.e. 2012/2013 batch. It is indeed pathetic to remain jobless after all the stress and strains involved in the training we went through. Being that as it may, I want to emphatically state that your objurgations against Engr. Reuben Okeke, the DG of NAPTIN and NAPTIN as an Institute is sheer jejune. By the infinite mercy of the ‘‘supreme being’’ who is the creator of humanity, I emerged the best in all that were trained in thermal stations across the country as well as one of the best ten pioneers. Without mincing words, I am today a Mechanical Instructor with NAPTIN as a fulfillment of the promise made by the DG, Engr Reuben Okeke to give the right of first refusal to the best ten graduating trainees (like you quoted). Engr Reuben Okeke is a man of integrity, rectitude and honour who does not play ducks and drakes. This is a fact too gargantuan and indisputable to be refuted. Holding him and NAPTIN, who are fighting tooth and nail to proffer the necessary and sufficient panacea to your malady responsible for your predicament, is unfounded and absurd. As a young Engineer (or Engineering graduate), I expect you to know that ‘‘what so ever you do to someone, someday, someone will equally do same to you’’ in accordance with the principle of retributive justice. Since our graduation in 2013, I have been privileged to be available, a couple of times the DG, Engr Reuben Okeke addressed trainees. All he does is to draw analogy from the fact that the best ten pioneers were engaged by NAPTIN, as a way of encouraging diligence and hardwork among the trainees and never any promise of job to hold on to. The identification of a problem is a step to the resurrection of its solution. I want to tell you ‘the acclaimed’ 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 graduates of NGSDP that you are yet to identify your problems. And as such, you are far from the solution. I enjoin you to stop majoring in minor. The act establishing NAPTIN defines NAPTIN as a training Institute and not a job provider for Nigerians. I’m joyous you stated that the training we received is insurmountable. The fact that the best ten pioneers were engaged does not automatically translate to the engagement of every best ten. PLEASE! CRITICIZE CONSTRUCTIVELY. To prospective trainees of NGSDP, I want you to know that ‘‘whoever says education is expensive should try ignorance’’. The programme is meant to expand your intellectual coast and broaden your horizon for job search. Believing that your admission into the programme is automatically a job offer is not only erroneous and obnoxious but mendacious and absolutely fallacious. The programme unequivocally sets you miles apart from your peers as far as power sector is concern. The recent advertisement by Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company explicitly states that NAPTIN certificate is an added advantage. So, use your tongue to count your teeth and decide whether to spend your money and stand out of the crowd or keep your money and remain jobless. BE WISE! Awaa,i sincerely apreciate ur analytical acumen and patriotuc spirit.though you took the step of quickly registering on nairaland to defend your pay master.i dont have problem with that. i will like us to analyse your points one after the other,in comparism with the plight of the op and the stance of naptin through her DG. First, what and what do you think will make an unemployed graduate of our country of today to cough out 750k for training in nigeria if not a promised job, or for someone who is earning about 150k to voluntarily resign his apointment and look for such sum for local training? you will give me better answer if u were employed before you applied. How many training in nigeria demand so much for a certificate that has no local acceptability let alone international recognition? The certificate that has no ref/certificate number. you claimed that you have since been employed by naptin in fulfilment of her promise in employing the best 10 graduants of your set. why did DG deny the same promise when asked? i want to draw your attentio to this: http://nigeriacurrentaffairs1..com/2014/12/fg-offers-automatic-employment-to.htmlpls what has happened to the 189 job opportunity promised through perm sec? i dont want us to be biased here,i know of someone who abandoned his masters program and left his job for this training and he is presently at home nit because he failed but because the promised job isnt forthcoming. in your set,i know of two guys in mechanical who served in omotosho phase 1. they kept managing with the company even after their graduation, hoping that they will be considered during the recruutment excercise. they were not even invited for interview while the genco employed fresh graduate.the invitation which was not even made public. what the op is saying is fulfilment of naptin's promised job, stop promising what she cabt offer and standardise the certificate or better scrap the excersie. |

Mekky05: Smh.. I read the write up completely, cuz I'm not like Nlanders who can't read. Ask yourself why would the FG tell you to pay money for training and u agreed? Peeps that did Msc in UK have never regretted it and are paid more in the workplace than their mates who completed it in Nigeria. So don't infer on what you don't know. If it was well structured,it would run on they basis of merit and scholarship just like the NDDC did their scheme for the ex-militants who were trained abroad and the FG covered their expenses and even paid some bursary too! So next time, think outside the box and stop having the "holed up" mentality. That's what our brains are designed for. who and who are those with foreign msc certificate being paid higher than their counterparts with msc from home? maybe u are talking of those whose parwnts have reserved such posts for them even before traveling for msc.even if it is as u have claimed,it means their certificate has value.the certificate of naptin, according to op, is not even recognised by federal government agency abi u no read with understanding ni (i mean no harm pls).how can one pay 750k to get wothless certificate after mouth-watering promises? what do you think will make one cough out 5million naira to study abroad? perhaps the value of the cert. and if i may ask you, what do u think will make a typical nigerian jobles graduate cough out 750k for a local training, while some even went as far as resigning from their job. i know someone who left 150k salary job for this training ooo and is still @home till now.lets think with our heads pls.can you imagine the kind of lackaging(dont let us say lies, because in yoruba culture, elders dont tell lies)this training could have got for someone to drop 750k.pls lets reason together abeg |
