oluwaseunla: I generally advise people to exercise serious caution when buying Nigerian used Nissans. Most times, these vehicles are abused, and the Nissan can he said to have a low tolerance for abuse compared to other brands. Be careful so you don't inherit another man's problem.
generally buyers of Nigerian used cars (regardless of brand ) need to show extra caution. not just Nissan. me I am speaking based on my experience with Kafila (dts d name of my nissan). anybody who buys dt car will truly enjoy it. and since OP is saying d car is in top condition then i advice him to buy the car. maintenance is very cheap. @OP abeg lets see pix na

@OP i really wish I had ur contact so we cld talk. sir that car U just talked abt is an ever reliable tractor and bulldozer not just a car. sir dts d car I use presently and I av neva had any reason to change anything since I got it toks more than 5years ago. na me dey service my thing mysef every 3months. d engine is strong and moves fast... my AC dey blast like die... tho I no too dey use am... i av neva refilled d gas since i got it toks. so pls oga if d car is clean n U av thoroughly checked it out n U r satified get that car ASAP b4 it slips. i will also love to see d pictures. not to forget I almost sold mine few months back eventually changed my mind cuz d car is what I call "problem free".

I discovered that the fan was directly connected to power, so that once I put on the engine (ON ii position) the fan starts running and stays on permanently.
I took it to two electricians over the weekend and was told I should leave it that way, that I can't correct it. I'm thinking they didn't know how to go about it. The engine temperature hardly gets to 70degree, even after 20 mins of city driving.
Will be glad to get a step by step procedure, if possible, so I could guide someone to help me. Thank you all.
will not advice U do on ur own... pls try get a competent mechanic to help check the engine. 1. b4 returning fan to default settings kindly ensure the state of your thermostat if its still in d engine or not. if its not... pls get a good one make surenU replace the thermostat. 2. if the thermostat has been fixed then return the fan to d normal settings. pls make sure U get a competent mechanic.
hello there. please I think I am experiencing a high fuel consumption in my car. its a 1999 nissan altima GXE. i get rougly 150km on half tank (city driving) official full tank size is like 60litres. official mpg is 21 (city driving) which translates to 8.928 km per litre of petrol.
now i have checked the exhaust pipe ... no black sooth deposits. checked plugs... no black sooths at all. more like golden brown coloration.
