fortune100: What do you mean by scam ? When did you come to inspect the car? I was with it all through yesterday, so what if it has few scratches, thank God you said scratches not dents, I posted only 3 pictures here, were you expecting me to post the worst part of the vehicle, a simple phone call could have saved you this display of your stupidity, I've sent pictures of this car to people on WhatsApp from this same thread, if you weren't satisfied with what you saw, you can simply keep shut, if someone posted it for 599, so what? Did I say the car isn't negotiable? Please refrain from this your wicked act, you won't go far with purposely trying to cause people's downfall. POST PICTURES THAT REFLECT THE TRUE STATE OF THE VEHICLE. SIMPLE. |

dealhunter: firstly, from ur users name oga Kazeem and your phone number,i do not know you,I did not take any Yoruba man to inspect this car today, the only people that came to inspect this car today were three IBO guys, they came together, and what they complained about this car was owners side of the car that was slightly bashed, which I told those IBO guys that the car was a Nigeria used car, driving on Lagos roads,no matter how clean the car,the buyer will surely fix one or two things to bring the car back to the buyers taste, even tokunbo cars, they confirmed that the engine, gear, and ac are working perfectly, and the interior is very/supper neat, so,those guys did not even spend up to 10 minutes to inspect the car,and they left....
Concern the pictures of the car that I used to post this car,the pictures were recent pictures of the car,I took another pictures of the car with my phone today which I will post under this comment...
Concern the time you said you wasted which I don't even believe you, what I will tell you is that, you are not the first person that will go to inspect car you saw online and not buying it...I have gone to Ajah many times to inspect cars without buying them,I have gone to ikorodu, lekki,Akute, and so many places,I was at Ebute Mata yesterday to inspect an Avalon that I posted here two days ago,I was betting by the rain,I even forgot to collect my 700 naira change from bus conductor, at end of the day,I did not buy the car, heaven did not fall,so,coming to ikotun to inspect car and not buying it is not a big deal, and I don't own you any apology for that, the way your wasted your time and money, that is how you wasted my time and money as well, because I'm not staying in Ikotun....
Concern the dealer that posted the same car 700k,I will just advise you to contact the dealer directly ,ask him, oga, why did you post the same car the deal hunter posted 599k,700k,he's in d best position to answer your question, happy search/hunt on Nigeria used cars without any little issue... my point was simple. misrepresentation of facts. you posted pictures different from a different time to the current state. why did u avoid posting pictures that showed the scratched? compare the pictures u just posted with the ones u posted earlier. atleast ppl can see for themselves. i wish you happy sales, but pls be more truthful. that's all. enjoy your day |

9icetoo: You lie. Why do you think mercs are said to be unreliable? Cos after the 100k mile mark when the warranty is over, almost everything goes haywire. How many modern 01 to date mercs make it to the 300k mile mark before they end up in the butchers yard? Meanwhile the Toyota and Lexus are seen everywhere strutting their stuff. trouble sweet oo hahahaha U r in d spirit my broda... make we dey find trouble dey go bt em u sef lie small o. toyota or merc, maintenance is key. if U , maintain a car well and do the right thing there is nothing that says it shouldn't make it till 500,000 miles sef. note: i am a merc (german product) fan. bt my point is purely as a technician not a fan boy that degrades other brands just to praise what he only loves. truth is some cars are made from hell but personally i am a strong believer in proper maintenance so i don't really believe in d trash talk of one car maker better than the other. too many variables involved... |

Be sincere to yourself ...how much can you buy golf 2 in this present day Nigeria? ...don't just make an empty unsubstantiated statement. I know those that have issues with me on nairaland....they are those with fraudulent mind set...I also understand how hard they are working to tarnish my hard earned reputation simply cos I stopped their illegal activities...they went on recruiting their likes to be messing around my post. They forgot that lots of people have bought car from me and they are all nairaland menbers who can testify to my integrity. You cannot give what you don't have...I am always proud of reminding people that I have been here for 10 years without a single issue....that is great achievement .... wow!!! being on NL for 10 years is now an achievement? hehehee regardless sincere apologies for my words. i had no intention of tarnishing your image. bt this is not the first time I have seen you price ppls cars at riduculous prices. infact thats what made me know your moniker. i decided there is a chance u just do dt to annoy sellers. not my business tho bt had to speak up cuz i felt its affecting ur reputation on NL. yeah I kno its not my business. bt regardless if U feel d way U price ppls cars is fair enuf no wahala continue. .. peace bro. nothing but love |

Car Talk › Re: Reconstructed Exhaust Muffler, How Safe? by OgaKazeem(m): 12:04pm On Jul 27, 2019 |
Provie: Good mornin house. Can gurus in the house help me out.
A panel beater opened my rear exhaust pot/muffler and we saw that greater part of the perforated tube inside was in shreds.
He now cleared d mess and used an ordinary iron pipe to construct another tube inside the pot; he made holes all over the pipe to look like the damaged one. He welded it back again and neatly patched up the broken exhaust pot.
The car went firing perfectly, with lesser noise (no much noise before the work anyway) and great fuel efficiency.
But my worry is whether there could be some mechanical issues or dangers to this reconstructed internal tube. Should I go for a "new" rear exhaust pot/muffler? u shldnt have a problem. as long as it doesnt get clogged up and blocked. the rear pot is basically constructed in a way that the movement of exhaust gases out tru d pipe and insyd d pot will cancel out eachother and what you'll have is more quiet exhaust. na why we dey call am "silencer" na.... that is why U also hear some ppl talk abt straight pipe exhaust and these ones r much more "noisy" like the sport cars... but OP u for do straight pipe make we see weda d motor go sound like Ferrari na |

1:will there be any further crack down 2: what will happen to its performance
Kindly help if you have any reasonable answer as no insult will be welcome. Thank You 1. what do you mean by alter? 2. deviation from manufacturer design always has an effect. tho some are permissible while other aren't. its your choice. bt as much as possible avoid any form of alterat2. why not just fix or replace the faulty component rather than altering. |
